About: Hi there my name is Amanda and my husband is Matthew we moved to cape breton island (Sydney area) in jan 2024. We are very passionate about our 4 fur babies and have always dreamed of starting a kenneling business. Our home is on 5 acres of property with 1 acre of it fenced and lots of walking trails in the non fenced area. We are starting with rober to guage interest in the area. When with us you can be assured that your fur baby will be treated like one of our own. Before taking an overnight friend we will need to do a meet and greet to ensure they get along with other dogs and are good with kids as we have a new baby as they will be included in our family plays. We are looking forward to welcoming your babies into our home. Our schedule will be flexible as I am on mat leave and if we get a lot of interest we would like to make it into a business. My husband works from home. We can discuss what works best for you at meet and greet. It's my dogs world I just live in it is my way of caring for my pets. Don't get me wrong they have rules but my job is to make their lives the best I can which is what led me to this idea ! My dogs have been going to day camp and on pack walks for years and the socialization really helps them to learn to interact with other dogs and humans.

About: I am trustworthy and reliable with a love for pets. We spoil our animals and always stop to say hi to pets we meet when out and about. We have a mature well behaved German shepherd/husky mix and a younger orange cat. Growing up with pets and having so many pets in our families have given us diverse understanding of pets and their behaviors. I have volunteered transporting shelter dogs in the past as well. I have some extra time these days and it would be rewarding and fun to help with other folks pets. I’m currently working on some projects for myself so I can make some free time when needed most of the time. Ask and we can hopefully work something out. We have a pet proof home as well as a yard that is surrounded by forest all the way around. Will use a leash always when outdoors.

I have also been involved in fostering and caring for stray animals including mother cats and their kittens. My family has always had a big heart for animals and those in need. We have even been involved with fostering children and approved throughly through regulation processes. I would love to take care of your family pets :) I am currently in school (online) and do not work which means I am available whenever needed. I do not currently have any pets and am trying to fill that void by helping others care for theirs! If you have any questions, please ask :) I am currently available at all times! I have made the decision to return to school online and do not currently work. I can be available all. About: I've caring for and rescuing cats since I was 8 years old. I'm comfortable cutting nails, trimming small mats, brushing, cleaning ears etc. I've fostered over 20 cats or kittens for various rescues and cleaned more litterboxes than I could count. I have a soft spot for senior cats needing medication or some extra daily help. For kittens, I always focus on socialization and desensitization to handling to ensure easier care later on in life.

About: I have a house full of fluff! Multi-dog home with big and small, male and female. Have done puppyhood and adopted adult dogs. Have cats, guinea pigs, and rabbits as well, and so am experienced with them, too! I worked as a pet trainer with PetSmart, interacting with dogs of all ages and breeds. I loved my job and helping other pet parents learn to be great communicators with their dogs and advocate for them! I have a specialist honours degree in Comparative Physiology from the University of Toronto, with a major in Biological Anthropology and minor in Psychology. I’ve graduated from the Canadian Memorial Chiropractic College and am a practicing Chiropractor in Sydney. I am a practicing Chiropractor in Sydney. My schedule is quite flexible and my longest shift is typically 6hrs. I am happy to take on booking requests that fit well within my schedule. I prioritize learning the routine and norms of your pet (including cues/commands, preferences, medications, etc) that will ensure their comfort and consistency. I believe in being an effective communicator and our pets best advocate. I am continuously researching and learning how to improve as a pet parent and trainer. I do my best to ensure they receive good nutrition, activities, and rest. Understanding the breed(s) and the individual dog has helped me build great relationships with each individual pet.

About: So almost 2 years ago, my partner and I adopted a cat because he really wanted one.. I was a a self proclaimed “dog person” but have totally changed my mind and am now obsessed with cats. Now along with my first adopted cat Buttons, I’ve just adopted a kitten who we’ve named “orange kitty” I am very pattionate about getting the cats enough enrichment time and I will make sure to play with your cats and keep them happy and healthy :) Cat supremacy 🐈👑✨

“We are traveling in an RV Caravan trip with 24 RV’s and we needed a person to walk our dogs while we were away on an excursion. Janis agreed to meet us at our campground and she met our dogs and came back the next day to walk them.
