About: Looking for someone who will care for your pet like family? I currently work at a veterinary clinic, where I care for animals almost every day and help provide compassionate, attentive care to pets of all ages and personalities. Whether your dog is energetic, shy, senior, or has special needs, you can have peace of mind knowing they’re in experienced and caring hands. Outside of work, animals have always been a huge part of my life. Growing up, we always had dogs in our home—from big, lovable Labradors to tiny, feisty Chihuahuas—so I’m comfortable caring for dogs of all sizes and temperaments. Right now, we’re raising an energetic Husky/Lab puppy who keeps us on our toes, and we’ve also fostered a Boxer who is completely deaf and blind in one eye. These experiences have taught me patience, adaptability, and how to confidently care for dogs with unique needs.

About: Hello! My name is Victoria :) I’ve been a Rover sitter in Ontario for the past two years and have now re-located back home to Newfoundland. I have absolutely loved my time as a sitter in Ontario and am looking to continue within the metro region in NL :) I work full-time in the Early Childhood Education field and am a huge animal lover! I have experience looking after dogs, cats and bunnies, as well as owning dogs and cats throughout my life. About: I’ve had dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, and caring for animals has always been something that I am passionate about. My own dogs are my babies, and over the years I’ve also loved helping friends and family care for their pets. I’m especially passionate about dogs and their individual personalities. I have experience with senior dogs and reactive dogs, and I understand that every dog has different needs, routines, boundaries, and comfort levels. I’m also very interested in training and enjoy continuing to learn about dog behaviour and positive reinforcement training techniques. I offer house sitting, drop-in visits, and dog walks, with very flexible availability. My goal is to make your pet feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while you’re away and to give you peace of mind knowing they’re in good hands. I currently work rotation work so have an open availability on my time home. However, I recently finished up for the season so can be accommodating to most times! If I take your pets into my own home I have a fenced in backyard and close access to lots of walking trails and places for adventures. Preference would be given to caring for them in your home to keep their routine as much as possible, and give them the same attention and companionship they are used to.

I make a point to be as flexible as possible as I know each pet has different needs. I have my own safe transportation to get to and from dog walking. I can also take your dog to another area on a trail for a walk if preferred. About: I've been taking care of my dog since he was a pup. Now that he's 12, he needs a lot more care and attention and I've been able to give him that! I am committed to taking care of your dog! I have a lot of free time to provide your dog with the care and love they need! I am very cautious when it comes to having a dog outside. About: Thank you for visiting my rover profile! I've had many loving pets over the years. Dogs, cats, gold fish, etc. All had wonderful experiences and changed my life for the better. Now I wish to return the love and comfort they provided me. Giving dogs the walks and runs in a safe environment. Cats play with toys and chill time they enjoy. I am available most days during the week. I work from home so my schedule is quite flexible. Also I am able to do visits for your pets within most areas of the north east avalon region. About: I am an experienced pet owner and lover of animals of all kinds! I grew up with several large dogs who were always an integral part of our family. My aunt also owns a pet care business-- loving and caring for pets runs in the family! I currently live with two wonderful rescue dogs and have volunteer and worked with dogs and cats throughout the last ten years. I have worked with several dog trainers on specific training methods and commands. I am comfortable with dogs (and other pets) of all sizes and have experience with medication and special diets. About: Growing up with pets my whole life I have lots of experience with small and large breeds. I have taken care of anxious pups, ones with loads of energy, and small puppies. I have a senior dog myself and I have plenty of experience with unique needs that may come with age. I’m a Social Work student at Memorial. I’m currently doing part-time studies and working part-time until the end of August. Beginning in September I will be on work term, working Monday to Friday. About: All pets will be loved and taken care of, they will definitely be my priority during the time they are with me. Had dogs for the major part of my childhood, so growing up connecting to pets is not much of a problem for me. About: I have just moved to St John’s, NL from NB as my wife (originally from St John’s recently got a job here). I had to retire early from municipal engineering a few years ago due to complications from a large brain tumour. I spend each day seeking joy and fun in the east end. I have a kitty Bertha. About: I have 5+ years caring for animals and I love it! I do longer stays if needed and last minute bookings. I love animals and want you and your furry friends to feel comfortable with them in my care. I am currently working home care 2 weekdays and can work around this schedule. I am familiar with various animal medical conditions, skilled in medication administration, and sensitivity to dietary restrictions. I hike with my own dog daily for at least 1 hour, and would love to have your furry loved ones join us! I currently work full-time but can flexibly accommodate drop in visits and walks during the week with sufficient notice. Friday to Sunday I am available for pet boarding at my home. I have a fenced yard and one senior English Setter to keep your furry friends company. My home is pet safe and animals are allowed on the furniture and beds.
