I moved to Newfoundland in 2021 to care for my family and I am able to share my space, time and energy with 4 legged friends. It would be my honour and privilege to care, board and walk your family pets. I have a fully fenced yard and greenspace behind my home to take care of your dogs. I can throw a ball for hours if need be as my own dog loves to watch and play. Or I can watch youtube videos of dogs on the beach. About: I've had dogs in my life since I was 5. I have been responsible for basic care and training since age 12. I am primarily used to small or medium sized dogs, and have a ton of experience with senior dogs. If your furbaby needs special care, I'm happy to provide it. I'm not working currently, so I have plenty of time to spend with your furbabies. I like to keep a routine, so my days mostly look the same unless I have a doctor's appointment to attend. I like to do a light walk every day and they are welcome to join. I'm available to board any day of the week. I don't have a fenced yard but I do have plenty of grassy space for your furbaby do their business while leashed. I live alone and I love pets, but I recently lost my last furbaby, so my home is empty. I'd love to give your furbaby the attention and care they deserve! About: I have been providing dog sitting services for some time now and decided to extend services through Rover in February 2026. I am an huge animal lover, adore nature and just want to give families the peace of mind when going away that I would want for my dogs. I have owned many dogs and have fostered too many to count. I was president of a rescue group for 10 years, 25 years volunteering with rescue groups and have extensive experience with small and large dogs, I have completed multiple obedience courses and have a strong knowledge of basic dog obedience and training. Dogs are a huge part of my life. I have regular clients I walk and that I provide pet sitting for in my home. I love to walk, hike, and jog. I build regular daily outdoor activity into my schedule and understand the importance of consistency for dogs. I am also flexible and can adjust to the needs of a dog when needed and I want to provide them with a place they can be content while their owner is away. Each dog is unique and I support a daily/weekly plan that supports their uniqueness. In order to get to know the needs and routines of all the dogs I care for, I ask each owner to complete a questionnaire outlining all I would need to know while caring for their dog. About: I have just moved to St John’s, NL from NB as my wife (originally from St John’s recently got a job here). I had to retire early from municipal engineering a few years ago due to complications from a large brain tumour. I spend each day seeking joy and fun in the east end. I have a kitty Bertha.
