“Awesome job! Caitlin was there each day at the specified times for drop-ins and she brought treats! Bookie did real well with her. Will be using her again for long weekends away! ?”

“5 stars! Christie is amazing! She does stop-in checks for our fearful cat and always takes the time to look for him when he’s hiding, even sending us a picture once she finds him. I tend to book last minute, and she’s always so accommodating. She even brings in packages and helps out with anything else we need. We’re grateful for her and will definitely continue to be repeat clients. Thank you, Christie!”

About: I’ve been watching dogs for 7 years now. I love all types of dogs. But the first dog I ever got close to was a pitbull. He was the first over night dog sit/house sit. I ever did, the couple would travel often due to work. So I would dog sit about 2/3 times a week. I did that for about two years and gained a lot of experience with dogs due to that job. I also find dog walking a great way to stay healthy and active with out it feeling like a work out. I’ve enjoyed dogging sitting ever since I started and don’t plan to stop. So for now that I can’t get a dog of my own. I’ll just watch yours ! Just send me a message and ill send you my number so we can set up a meeting. Price is negotiable. I’m currently a full time student online so I’m looking to make cash while staying active and happy and what a better way than to pet sit. I’ve loved animal since I was a little girl so being around them always brings me joy and as you’ll see they take a liking to me as well. Even the pups you think won’t, always end up loving me as well. I live in a very spacious one bedroom apartment with a balcony alone so they always feel free and nice fresh air. There is a courtyard in my building that is dog friendly and three dog parks near my building as well. So they will always have room to run and be themselves. I am a full time online student so I would be spending my whole day with your pups. They would always be in great care with love and attention. I have a nice courtyard in my building that’s pet friendly and they can play and I also have three dog parks in my area. Where they can run around and meet new pups if allowed I am currently an full time online student so I would be with your pup the whole day. If you’d like to hear my specific daily routine let me know 😊 I usually stick to the routine a parent gives me so they can feel as comfortable as possible while staying with me or if I’m staying in their home.

“Tabatha helped us out with a drop-in visit while we were away for the day. Good communication, punctuality, friendly and professional. She sent us some really great photos of out doggos too! We appreciated her help and will be booking with her again.”

About: I love being around animals and spending time with them. I find myself walking in the outdoors a lot which I would love to do with dogs! I currently work part time over the summer and I am also a full time college student. I am looking to care for more animals over the summer whenever needed. I have one dog and three cats that are all very friendly towards others.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs since 2020 with my former partner who is a dog trainer and has their own doggy daycare. I have pet training experience, and know the behavioural indicators for dogs. I understand pugs the most because I had my own for nine years. I understand the health conditions that come with the breed, they’re eating habits, their comfort levels, and overall what it takes to care for a pug. I am self-employed, and my mom is always home as she’s retired. So we have a lot of time to dedicate to taking care of your fur babies. I have a fenced in yard for your fur babies to run around and play. Our home has central air to keep everyone cool. We have a cat named Callie, who has been around foster dogs, and daycare dogs her entire life. And we have our rescue dog Margaret, who is a kind gentle small daschound chihuahua. My mom Diane is retired (73), and is always home. She helps care for the pets and daycare dogs.

About: I have owned and cared for dogs, cats, rabbits and ferrets my whole life. I enjoy the physical aspect of having furry friends around as well as the companionship! There is nothing I do not enjoy about caring for and spending time with animals! I have experience with a variety of animals and breeds of various ages and stages of their life. More specifically, I have experience training puppies and older dogs as well as caring for dogs and pets with reactive or special needs. I am extremely capable of administering medications, treatments or any other plan you may have your pup on. In terms of activity, I will gear this towards what I know about your dog and what you prefer they do! Should this be walks, runs or play time outdoors, I am willing to meet your needs. We are an active household would love nothing more than to spend time outdoors with your pup! *Please note, for larger older dogs, that I live in a 3 story townhome. Should your pup be too big to carry and incapable of doing several sets of steps, this may not be the home for you :) As I prepare to study for my legal Licensing exams this coming fall, I will be home all for the next six months to give your pup all the love and attention they deserve! Should there be an occasion where I must go out, my partner may stay home from work to accommodate! Despite my need to study, I love being active and so does my partner! Should your dog require extra walks or exercise, we would love to have them join us ! At minimum, we will include your furry friend on 3 large walks a day. Please continue reading for a description of our daily schedule: Morning: My partner and myself both wake up by about 7am. My partner typically leaves early, while I will be home to study and care for your furry friends. In the morning I will grab coffee and go for a walk of about 30 minutes before 8am, letting your pup out to pee as needed beforehand. Afternoon: In the afternoon, I often aim to go for about 1 hour of a walk minimum. I will go through the forest or alongside our neighborhood which is a quiet and less populated area of Ottawa. In doing so, there is plenty of room and opportunity to roam around should your pup enjoy such activities. Evening: Before dinner, I often like to walk for about 20 minutes prior to giving dinner. After we have all eaten, myself and my partner typically walk for about 45 minutes to one hour. In the evening, we enjoy down time at home, often reading or watching TV. Your furry friend will hang out with us! Before bed, there will be opportunity for one last walk or at least a pee! ** Note that walks and breaks will be given generously throughout the day. There will never be more than a 1-2 hour period without an outdoor break. Myself and my partner are both young professionals. My partner works as an IT consultant in a hybrid model while I work and study from home! We reside in a three story townhome, with ample room for your pup to run free and explore. There is nowhere in our home that is off limits to animals. We do not have a closed in backyard, but rather have our pee breaks in front of the home which faces a large forest and field. When I care for others pets, I typically set alarms for a walk or pee every 45 minutes to 1 hours. This ensures a check in or small pee break will never be forgotten in case of animals not knowing where to alert to go outside. With this in mind, I often take large and longer walks in between pee breaks in order to better break up the day. Please see the Schedule section to see a predicted daily schedule. Despite this, we are active individuals who love to walk and explore, ensuring your pup will have lots of opportunities to pee and explore as they wish 🐶. Please note, we have plenty of room for a crate should your dog require, but we do not posses one at the moment!

About: I am an experienced dog handler that loves dogs and animals. I offer a SMOKE FREE home and environment. I am premium dog care service provider and charge above average rates to ensure that you and your pet receive the gold standard of care and service. Good animal care providers aren't cheap and cheap animal care providers aren't good. If you need a trustworthy, and reliable sitter instead of the cheapest sitter available...congratulations, you're reading the correct profile. Dogs are kept safe and will greatly enjoy their stay with me. I have a big truck so I can transport dogs/pets easily to take them out for lots of runs, walks, playing fetch etc. I’m experienced with aggressive dogs, law enforcement service dogs, dog training, dog walking, and safety management. I had a Siberian Husky named Bosko, until he passed away in April 2024. He was almost 11 years old, full of energy, yet very, very well behaved, trained and mannered. Bosko was not aggressive, but he did growl and tried to act tough around other male dogs. He was subjected to dozens of dogs in our house over the years of dog sitting on Rover and he never hurt, nor attacked another dog. If you look through our profile, you will see Bosko pictured with dozens of other dogs in our home. Bosko loved to play with smaller dogs and was very kind and gentle with them, even if they knipped at him, or bit at him. Your dog will have a great time with all of us here and we look forward to meeting you and your dog. I work from home and enjoy the company and responsibility of caring for other animals. I am able to provide consistent round the clock supervision and attention to my clients' animals. All dogs will be walked one or two times daily and have space to roam, run, play and enjoy themselves in a safe, supervised environment.

About: For future reference; will not be accepting non neutered or spayed cats/dogs unless accompanied by a crate, especially if their not trained please. I do have one myself, so not that you need to have one per se but allow use if necessary! This is partially for Henrys experience too, so please keep that in mind when reading this; its not to be snarky. I have trained two dogs growing up who have above average listening and response times. Positive reinforcement was key to my success, psychology paid off. One was a rescue dog; she was such a sweet heart but it took some time getting her to open up based off her traumatic experiences prior to entering the adoption location she luckily found her way too. Henry on the other hand, was purchased from a breeder, so fortunately for him less baggage, and unfortunately for her given the circumstances. I've done dog sitting/pet care for family dogs when family members would go on vacation for anywhere from 6 to 8 weeks. Medication administration is a non issue, as well as grooming is another area I take great pride in doing myself, as it's a good trait to have being a pet owner. Have cared for puppies, adult or senior dogs; we were a dog first family growing up so I've grown to love them more than you can realize just through descriptions; with my active daily lifestyle it allows for the animals to gain as much out of exercise as I do and working from home helps as well. I treat animals as if their my family or children, so they'd receive the same treatment one would expect from a friend baby sitting their children. Seamlessly; he wakes up when I do and is let out accordingly at 4 AM we go for multiple walks a day most notably 430 AM and 530 PM. I work from home so it makes it very manageable to get him outside for bathroom breaks within 2-2.5 hour interval periods. I'd like to think we both operate at a high level through one another. We feed off one another, so when he's upbeat I am too, but when I'm down he has his tricks that ensure a great therapeutic touch. I treat them as if their my children; I speak to them in a way they understand with words or phrases we've practiced or has practiced to ensure optimal success in regards to understanding one another. Henry and I like to play often with his toys or just horsing around with Belly rubs and chasing him around the house. He sleeps with me too, so no furniture is off limits as I usually have blankets or other covers in place to manage hair loss.

About: I love dogs! I have experience taking care of big and small, well and not so well behaved dogs : ). I have a private property for ball throwing and running around.
