In fact, most people do not agree to board him once they hear about his anxiety issues. With Bridget, it was completely different. She agreed to board him right away so we could travel with the family for 7 days, and that gave us so much peace of mind. She is one of those people who, when you meet her, feels like someone you have known for years. She was like magic with Togo. He had fun, met other dogs, and for the first time he was actually able to play with them. He did great. Bridget was kind, responsive, and clearly loved Togo. I would recommend her to anyone who wants real peace of mind when going away. Her place is awesome, and the dogs get to live and play almost like they are in their natural habitat. About: I have been honoured to be from a very animal Oriented family and have lived on a farm for most of my life. I have cared for and have given the best care and love to animals such as, Guinea pigs, cats, turtles, horses, dogs, and pretty much everything else you can imagine. I was born an animal lover and every animal becomes my family. I can identify special needs in any animal such as first aid, anxiety issues etc I work from home, so your pet has 24/7 attention. Be prepared for your loved one to get 3-4 walks a day along with an hour play time or a trip to the dog park daily! I have a fenced yard. My golden retriever is very patient and loves all types of dogs. If your dog is allowed on the couch or bed, well so is mine. I would rather your dog be able to cuddle and be comfy right beside me during the night to make them feel trust, and feel more comfortable in a strange environment. I am able to make every animal feel like home. Just ask my references … if your dog likes burger patties from McDonalds or pup cups from star bucks… I’m your girl… I am very experienced with highly reactive and aggressive dogs as well. Unfortunately, I do Have a dog of my own, but can manage very well as I am highly trained with aggressive dogs. The bunnies get kibble and veggies in the morning. The cats get wet food in the morning and at night. Dry kibble out all day and hay out all day for the bunnies. We clean their cage 1/ week, and the cats litter gets changed every 3 days. About: I am a former dog owner of an 18 year old Cockapoo I lost 1,5 years ago. Prior to this I cared for my 19 year old Spaniel/terrier. In addition, I am listed on Trusted House sitters as a Five star House/pet sitter. My last girl, I took care of her in Pallative state, administering, meds, special allergy bathing , going to the Vet for fluids and other treatments. Carry her down the deck stairs for her potty time when her ability was no longer there to climb up and down stairs etc. I had both of my dogs as a puppy and trained them with some dog trainers and my own training. I still have bedding, dishes, wire and mesh crate, toys! I am retired, I have some spare time depending on some days between appointments and trips into Ottawa. I would be more available during the day and early evenings I have a fenced yard, with plenty of grass down below the deck area. I am close to walking trails and sidewalks outside of my home. I do have a wired and mesh crate. I may administer some oral medication. Walk, feed, give lots of love, hugs and attention to your fur baby!

My beautiful Benjamin earned his angel wings in September 2023 but I still remember how hard it was to find a loving & attentive dog sitter who had senior dog experience, and it was through Rover that I met some really amazing dog-sitters and I'm forever grateful they were part of Benji's journey. Benji had diabetes for years so I have extensive experience administering needles and oral medication. Benji was also a fussy eater so I’m also used to making meals tasty and the environment super relaxing to ensure your baby is as happy as they can be while you’re away. The primary reason for having a higher-than-average rate is because I promise to provide exceptional, safe, and attentive care to your precious baby. I’m also open to giving very frequent updates and photos to make your experience away from your baby as enjoyable as possible. I’m very mindful of safety rules and making sure you’re little (or big!) one is safe and cared for 24/7. I love dogs so much and I miss their beautiful love and light, and while I’m not ready to have another one of my own yet, I look forward to caring for your dog as I would my own. I have a fully fenced yard and live on a corner lot so there is lots to see and sniff even if just running around my yard, but I am happy to go on lots of leashed walks as well. I’m pretty good at interpreting the signs for potty time, but I love learning as much as I can from you about what your baby’s habits, needs and preferences are. Being a devoted dog Mom for 15 years, I was always extremely careful about making sure my Benji was safe and happy, and I did many things to avoid potential situations, such as crossing the street on walks if another dog looked aggressive, making sure I had eyes on him at all times and knowing what he was doing, even when sniffing the ground, making sure nothing was on the ground that could be hazardous. Nothing was more important to me than protecting my Benji and also making him feel super loved and relaxed. Trust is so important when choosing a dog-sitter. I’ve had a few negative experiences when I needed one in the past, so I know how awful it can be to search and have to settle for mediocre care when in a pinch, so it’s important to me to offer the utmost in care for your baby and for you to be assured that they are in good hands. We're an active family who love going for walks in the beautiful country side where we live. I currently have one friendly cat, so we have lots of room and time for dogs who visit. I live on a large property surrounded by forest so there are endless choices for walks and fun.

Once they develop a strong bond with me, they can happily sit on my lap, receive pets, scritches and more. Should the family request for updates, I will send them pictures or text messages pertaining to the behaviour as well as ask any questions I have before I begin pet sitting along with in the process.

“Bridget was amazing with our dog, Togo. Togo has separation anxiety and is very hard to deal with. He is a Samoyed who is extremely attached to us and usually does not do well with other people. In fact, most people do not agree to board him once they hear about his anxiety issues. With Bridget, it was completely different. She agreed to board him right away so we could travel with the family for 7 days, and that gave us so much peace of mind. She is one of those people who, when you meet her, feels like someone you have known for years. She was like magic with Togo. He had fun, met other dogs, and for the first time he was actually able to play with them. He did great. Bridget was kind, responsive, and clearly loved Togo. I would recommend her to anyone who wants real peace of mind when going away. Her place is awesome, and the dogs get to live and play almost like they are in their natural habitat. They come home happy, exhausted, and ready for a bath and a long sleep :)”

Since I have my own cats at home, I offer pet-sitting at your home on your schedule. This can range from stop ins for potty breaks to walks every few hours to overnight stays - you tell me and I’m there! About: Your pet will enjoy 3 walks a day and open access to our 10 acre hobby farm just on the outskirts of kemptville (just a few minutes from the 416 for easy drop off and pick up ). Most Saturdays guests will Also enjoy a walk on the historic town of merreckville. Everyone in our household loves spending time with dogs, so rest assured while you are away your pet will receive our full attention . Both my husband and I are retired and are able to spend quality time with your pet every day. Starting with a morning walk on the property(dogs leashed at all times). We have several trail systems in our area to also provide afternoon walks We gave 40 years of experience with our own dogs and also taking care of family dogs when required. When we walk our dogs are always leashed . Visiting dogs are free to lounge on the back deck or lawns and will always be tethered

About: I always had dogs growing up and i just recently got seperated. I have tremendous aptitude in training animals and i like companionship. Let me show you my skills I work full time at the government of canada, and i absolutely love to spend time with my animals, i am an outgoing person that loves the outdoors. I would take the dog out for regular potty breaks and take them for walks at least once per day and twice on the weekends I have a fenced yard for potty breaks and a 3/4 acre land next to the water. We live in the country side, and my neighbours are amazing
