Whether you have a high-energy dog, a routine-loving cat, or an exotic pet with specific husbandry needs, we are here to treat your animals like our own. You can also find us on Facebook at Peace of Mind Pet Care! Our Experience & Why Choose Us Cats & Dogs: We grew up surrounded by dogs and are currently the proud cat parents of two sweet felines (ages 7 and 10). We deeply understand canine energy needs, feline behavior, and the absolute importance of a solid routine. Exotic & Reptile Specialists: As avid keepers of multiple reptiles ourselves, we have extensive experience with exotic husbandry. We understand the critical importance of heating gradients, humidity, specialized diets, and habitat maintenance that standard sitters often miss. Personalized Approach: We pride ourselves on tailoring our care to your pet's specific personality, offering a calm, consistent presence, and treating your home with the utmost respect and cleanliness. Services Offered 🐾 Adventure Care (Half-Day Play): Our signature service! Perfect for a busy afternoon or when you need to run errands. Drop your pup off for 2 to 4 hours of fully supervised backyard playtime and refreshing strolls to the local beach and ravine. (Capped at 4 hours max; fully outdoor). 🏠 Drop-In Home Visits: Perfect for cats, crated dogs, or exotics. Includes feeding, fresh water, litter/habitat maintenance, playtime, and regular photo/text updates. 🦮 Dog Walking: Safe, engaging neighborhood walks tailored to your dog’s specific stamina and pace. 🦎 Small Animal & Exotic Boarding: Dedicated, knowledgeable boarding in our home exclusively for your reptiles and pocket pets, where their strict environmental needs will be expertly maintained. (Please note: We do not offer boarding for dogs or cats in order to keep our home environment stress-free for our resident felines). Availability & Rates We offer flexible daily availability for walks, drop-in visits, and Adventure Care, as well as ongoing booking for small animal and exotic boarding. Please reach out with your dates and needs—we can't wait to meet your pets! 🐶🐱🐢 As students, we have a highly flexible schedule that allows us to be available for mid-day walks, last-minute drop-ins, and our active Adventure Care sessions throughout the week! Since we do much of our work from home, your pet will have constant "study buddies" and won't be left alone for long periods. This flexibility means we can dedicate 100% of our focus to supervising your pup during their 2 to 4-hour outdoor playdates. Your pet gets a fun, high-energy getaway, and we get the perfect study break! We prioritize a calm, secure, and stress-free experience for every pet. Whether at our home or yours, safety is our #1 priority. About: We had two dogs, chocolate lab (7 years) and lab/shep mix (16 years). We miss them both terribly but are not yet ready to fill the void of their losses. We are a family with 2 children (11 & 14) who are very familiar with looking after animals. We love cuddles and outdoors and have I’ll provide lots of love and exercise while you are away. We will only take animals when we can be home with them. We will accept care that goes with our work schedules to allow someone to be with the pet in our care. We have lots of space to make your pet comfortable. We will take them outside leashed as needed, and for walks. We are not comfortable allowing any animals in our care roam free and will request a leash. We also have a fenced area of yard for outside time as needed, but will still be accompanied/ supervised.

About: Now Available to Book Daily/Weekly Dog Walking and Drop in Visits! I have started my own business outside of Rover, check us out on Instagram or Facebook - Leah & Leisure Hi there, I’m Jayden! My partner and I have just bought our first home in our beautiful hometown of Kincardine. We have a large unfenced yard and are a few short minutes from the Beach and the Kincardine Trails. I grew up on my family farm where I always had lots of pets - specifically cats and dogs. I have experience caring for other people's pets, including cats, small, large, young and senior dogs. I also have expirience house sitting and living in the pets' home for days at a time and on numerous occasions dogs staying in my home with me. As well as walking and exercising them. I’m currently operating Leash & Leisure, my days consist of walking a multitude of dogs or dog sitting for families out of town. I treat your pets as my own, I give them the same love and attention your family would. I only utilize the tools/leashes/products you supply and the same training techniques your family uses to ensure consistency with your pet.

About: Hey pet owners! I’m an enthusiastic animal lover who is looking to start a small side business while in university. I have experience with dogs big and small, plus cats. I’ve also had experience with dogs who suffer from anxiety. When dog sitting I am able to stay at your house with your pet if you prefer or I am located right in Tiverton and I can check in on your pet as many times as requested/needed. As mentioned I am a university student, currently about to finish teachers college and am able to walk the pups or check on your pets before, between, and after classes. I’m currently saving up for teachers college. I am currently working on call at various schools while doing my own schoolwork. I try to keep my schedule as up-to-date as possible. Currently I have days of tests, placements, and volunteering days marked off. Want to go away but don’t want to put any additional stress on your favorite furry friend(s)? As a pet owner myself I completely understand! I am more than happy to remove that stress from everyone!

About: I worked for a friend’s dog kennel throughout high school and into my late teenage years. As well as pet sitting in their home for extended stays. I’ve been a kitty mum for 10 years and a pup mum for 6 years. Our second pup Po was a challenging one in the beginning. So definitely have lots of experience with training and dealing with stressful behaviour situations. Learning to calm and control the situation. Also did a CO-OP placement at a vet clinic within my high school years. I currently work Monday to Thursday day shift, so I am available for your pets needs anytime from 5pm and beyond, or whatever time needed on Friday, Saturday and Sundays. I have a big open back yard which my 2 goldens adore. A large gated covered porch and lawn stake tie outs if needed. Love to play, interact and give all the lovings needed. Ensure they have fresh water and are comfortable within their space.

There are 38 sitters on Rover for Pet Sitting in Kincardine. About 68% of Kincardine sitters can respond to requests in under 60 minutes. Whether you’re planning ahead for holidays, need last-minute care, or need same-day coverage for an urgent trip, you can message multiple sitters at once to find available care.

Once you find the right match, you can arrange a Meet & Greet to ensure they are a perfect fit for your pet’s personality before confirming.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or travelling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer poop breaks during a Kincardine stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover based on what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

You can coordinate how much supervision you want directly with your sitter. While every sitter’s schedule varies, here are some examples of supervision by pet care service:

  • Boarding or doggy day care: Many sitters can provide frequent companionship because they design their day specifically around the pets in their care or work from home.
  • House sitting: Your sitter generally stays in your home for the requested duration, which may include overnight care. They may step out briefly to visit other pet clients, but your home remains their primary base.
  • Drop-in visits or dog walking: These can be scheduled in 30- or 60-minute windows (and can be shorter or longer at your request) to help your pet receive dedicated attention and care during those specific times.

Interested in constant or 24/7 care? This service often incurs an additional fee but many sitters are happy to discuss this option with you.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Kincardine choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your pet to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your pet is showing signs of possible illness.

For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.

Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.

Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a veterinary professional or offer other resources to help.

If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means Rover Support will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
