About: Hi! I have had cats and/dogs in my home since I was 2. I have a big heart and plenty of patience. I have experiences with feeding, walking, cleaning, washing, adhearing to explicit vet instructions for medical needs, reactive personalities, practicing training, being gentle where needed and playing with animals. I am away from home from 8:00am-4:30pm on week days for work. I am unavailable for active care during that time unless for example, this includes a cat who can thrive independently while I am away for the day. At my home, I have yard in the back and lots of neighbourhoods to walk through. Inside my home I have the space to care based on a mutually agreed-upon plan of care. I live in an apartment and it is a nice quiet space. If care involves boarding with me, I would currently prefer you send your own supplies per the needs of your pet(s) (bowls, food, treats, litter/litter box/puppy pads/poop baggies, leash, toys, and other). If at a clients home, I am respectful, a great listener to the needs of the pets, the preferences of the household and am great at communicating when facilitating active care.

About: Ive taken care of dogs and cats for over 30 years. Have done some pet sitting as well which included regular walks, play time , feeding and grooming and giving medication. They will be well takken care of in my care. I have a flexible schedule at the moment and am available during the day several days a week and every other weekend. Prefer animals to stay with me. I have 1 cat so your dog will need to be accustomed to cats. My cat has been around dogs. I live out in the country with hiking trails surrounding me so I will be walking the dog daily there.

We are a family with 2 children (11 & 14) who are very familiar with looking after animals. We love cuddles and outdoors and have I’ll provide lots of love and exercise while you are away. We will only take animals when we can be home with them. We will accept care that goes with our work schedules to allow someone to be with the pet in our care. We have lots of space to make your pet comfortable. We will take them outside leashed as needed, and for walks. We are not comfortable allowing any animals in our care roam free and will request a leash. We also have a fenced area of yard for outside time as needed, but will still be accompanied/ supervised.

About: I’m a devoted cat mom who truly believes cats are family. My own two, Ollie (10) and June (8), have taught me everything I know. I’ve had Ollie since he was just 7 weeks old, and we’ve been through it all together, including a major bladder surgery a few months ago. My girl June was adopted at 4 months from a very difficult home. Working with her taught me the "long game" of winning over a shy or fearful cat. I know how to respect a kitty’s space while slowly building the trust they need to feel safe. What sets me apart: Medical Experience: Comfortable with oral meds and specific dietary requirements (thanks to Ollie!). The "Shy Cat" Whisperer: Patient with rescues or anxious cats who need time to warm up (thanks to June!). High Standards: I’m a stickler for fresh water, tidy litter boxes, and of course, plenty of high-quality photo updates. Genuine Love: I treat every cat with the same deep love and respect I give my own two at home.

About: I have had owned 5 previous dog. Currently have 2 dogs a goldendoodle and yorkshire terrier both friendly. Used to groom my own dog brush and can take your dog for bath additional cost Depending on size Currently at home so avaliable any day of the week. Have a young child 8 years old who goes to school and comes back by 6pm. I have toys. Can provide treats at additional cost. Special diet and diapers extra. Have 2 dogs friendly both female. 3 is company we will have a great time

“I cannot say enough good things about Alexandra and her partner. I travel for work and take my service dog with me. They can be very busy and long days so I look to Roover to make sure that Atticus, no matter what, he has all the walks, swims and off leash time he needs and deserves. The challenge is I am only in town for 1 week, then onto the next town and I don't trust most people with my dog. Well instantly I could tell Alexandra and her partner were fantastic, absolute dog people! Atticus easily trusted them. The next day when he saw them he was all tail wags and happily left for a walk. Over the next few days they took him to several different local nature trails and even had him to their house so he could have an extended break from my intense workplace. Both Atticus and I look forward to our next visit to Kincardine, what a relief to know Alexandra will be there 🦮😃”
