“Taylor was fantastic! She was available for a walk very last minute and even added some bonus minutes to the walk which was very appreciated by my pup while I was at work! She followed all instructions and gave a very thorough review of the walk after. Ernie definitely enjoyed his walk and would love for you to walk him in the future! :)”

About: I can still remember getting my first pup when I was around 5 years old. He was a lot a work! But that didn't stop me. I have had experience with a variety of breeds and ages. I started working for a dog walking/sitting company and from then I went on to get my Veterinarian Assistant Certificate. I was an Animal Control Officer for 3 years and now currently work in a Animal Shelter environment on most weekends. From walking to feeding to bathing to giving medications and of course lots of love you can trust your dog with me. I'm currently at home during the week with my two children, (2.5 & 4) and work every other weekend. Pet care in my home would be from Monday- Friday, time and amount of days is flexible. Also could fit in a few weekends here and there if needed. I have a large partially fenced in yard. However, for safety I would prefer not to let your dog off leash and most likely do more walks. I have a 2.5 year old daughter and a small dog to keep your pup company. They are excellent in playing but also love their cuddles and comfort. I am also okay to crate your dog if need be.

“Mikaela is the best! She is reliable, trustworthy, friendly, kind, and is great with our dogs!! She takes the time to get to know your dog which was really helpful for us and our 8 yr old stubborn terrier. Her background and experience in animal care is an added bonus.”

About: I've owned and taken care of many dogs and cats over the years. With being done school now it has given me many new skills for animal care. I can come and care for your lovely pets at any time, we can discuss what times you would need and if I can make it work then there is no problem. If it's not a time I can then I will let you know other options . When going for walks with dogs I always bring a bowl and lots of water for them. I will follow any instructions that you leave for your pets such as feeding schedule and medication if needed.

About: I have always said I have a passion for compassion. I work a full time job during the week, but I am always willing to spread the love when I'm not at work. I love all the fluffs and they tend to love me as well! I have experience with pets who have all sorts of medical needs. If you want someone to love your pets the way you do, I would love to see if I'm a good fit! I currently work full time, but that doesn't limit my ability to play with the pups! I always guarantee multiple walks per day, plus play time. I follow your routines. I prefer to figure out how you go about your day to day life with the dog and I follow what you do to the best of my ability. It causes less stress on the dog when the routine is followed.

“Natacha is great. Our normally timid dog Molly loved her from the get go and Natacha was very accommodating with our up and down schedule. We would definitely book her again!”

About: Hi my name is Sherrie and I’m a late 30 something year old and I grew up with pets of all kinds, dogs, cats, hamsters, rabbits, Guinea pigs and even a few fish over the years. I have a 10 year old golden lab retriever and a 7 year old black lab, that are the highlights and loves of my life, but I have lots of time and love to go around for your critters too. On the rare occasion that I have to leave my girls, no matter how long/short, I am very selective on who I ask to do so and I expect no different for anyone else and therefore I am open to lots of questions and having a meet and greet prior to ensure it’s a good fit for everyone. When I was working shift work I had a great set up for my girls to get out and zoom while I was home getting my pre-shift Zzz’s in during the day. I am totally willing to do the same for you, on a recurring basis if you are a shift worker. I have lots of experience being around and caring for dogs and cats, however I also have farmhand experience as well, mainly with horses and cows, having worked on a dairy farm and hobby farm within the Kingston area. I’m mainly offering to bring animals in and out of pastures/stalls, stall cleaning, feeding and watering. I do not have any specific training when it comes to animal care, but my experiences have taught me that animals just want to be loved and cared for like us but also need to be supervised. Marlow, my 7 year old black lab has presented me with opportunities to learn about wound care after a stick impale injury at a young age, as well as the jumping out of a moving vehicle scene. But now it’s just generally silliness, like getting too excited about ball fetching or with Macey licking at hot spot so deterring that and keeping spots clean I also have had the unfortunate experience in having to take one of the farm dogs to the vet because he tried to eat a porcupine. To avoid situations like this or skunking, in the future I will be sure that your dog is walked on a leash and not an over long one. I am currently in a position where I can pretty well make my own schedule and am willing to work with you and your pets needs. At this time I am unable to offer care in my home due to having my own dogs and limited indoor/outdoor space. However - upon coming to your home, I am more than happy to come to do doggy walks around your neighbourhood and or for drop ins/playtime in your house/yard depending on your request and yard situation. I am open to the possibility to take your pup in my vehicle to go for more of an adventure/destination walk but this would have to be discussed in length prior and depend on different factors such as the distance to location, the weather etc.

About: Hi, nice to meet you! Please call me Eliza. Firstly, thank you for considering me to take care of your fur-babies while you're away. Here's a little bit about me and my history with pet care. When I was little, I always knew I wanted to work with animals in some capacity. My journey with pet care began when I was 12 years old. One of my neighbors had a black lab puppy that they never let inside & never had company. One day, I walked up to their door, knocked & asked them to hire me to walk their dog everyday. I never looked back. Since then, friends, family, neighbors & strangers alike have entrusted me with all of their pet's needs. When considering booking with me, please keep in mind that I also work 35 hours a week, giving me plenty of time to pay attention to your pets. I do not have breed restrictions & am happy to work with any special needs or requirements your pet may have. FOR ALL NEW CLIENTS, I do require a meet & greet before booking to ensure that everyone (including your pet) is comfortable and to be able to ask/answer any questions we may have for each other. I've found this helps to ensure trust between all of us. Please be upfront with any triggers or quirks so I know exactly how to take care of your pet. *The meet & greet is a FREE service to ensure we're all a good fit for each other before the stay. For the time being, I do not offer boarding in my home. During my stay with your pets, I provide the utmost care & attention to your pet & their needs. My main priorities are making sure your pet is as safe & as comfortable as possible in an already anxious situation with their parents being away. Thank you so much for considering me to take care of your fur-babies while you're away.

About: As stated above, I am a Veterinary Technician that has dedicated my career and education to animals. I have made the switch to becoming a human nurse-which I work casual at the hospital. I miss seeing animals everyday I would love to spend my time caring for your fur babies! I also feel comfortable medicating and caring for any animal regardless of their lifestage. If needed, I can assist in providing nail trims and ear cleaning if products are supplied and animal is agreeable with one person providing such care. I have some shifts set ahead for working in the hospital, but I also do have a lot of openings in my schedule. Please let me know if you think I would be a good match to care for your pet! About: I’m a certified dog trainer. Member National Association Dog Obedience Instructors, 6 year alumni with Susan Garrett’s Recallers, 9 years as trainer for large box store. I’ve dog sat for the past decade and have customers that come from over 3 hours away. I’ve previously bred dogs and fostered for over 30 years. I’m self employed as a trainer but also have always included dog sitting for clients who didn’t want to kennel their dogs. I do go to clients homes for training or dog walking but I am not gone for long hours so dog/cat sitting works great. I can schedule my days so both boarded dogs and training clients get all the attention needed. I have a lovely quiet farm that is the perfect place for animal care. Technically I do not have a fenced yard by I do have large indoor arena that dogs can safely play off leash in a completely secure area. I started pet sitting because I had clients that had dogs that would not have been ok in a commercial kennel. I am a perfect situation for anxious or elderly dogs. Also a great situation for puppies who may not thrive in a kennel. My own dogs are great and use to dogs coming and going. I moved to Brockville from Durham region and although many of my regular dogs still come and stay with me I do have availability and would love some regular dogs from this area.

“We have a large, sucky, anxious dog who suffers from stress induced colitis when we leave him with strangers. 💩 Luckily he knows Sherrie well enough that he has no problems when she’s taking care of him. Due to his size he can be a handful when he sees other dogs (he just wants to play, but they never do) and she handles his antics like a champ. Sherrie is the ultimate dog lover, and goes above and beyond when taking care of our fella. We ❤️ her.”
