I also occasionally work on the weekends at a respite center for people that have intellectual disability. I treat client’s homes with respect. I make sure that there is nothing unsafe laying around and that they have all that they need. If their pet stays with me, I once again make sure that the environment is safe. My house is always quiet unless the dogs are playing with each other. I don’t have a staircase so it’s easy for the dogs to roam around. I have a big crate if necessary but most of the time the crate is unused.

À propos : Hi! I've been an animal lover my whole life with a particular love for dogs. I've been caring for my friends' pets for years and then started getting requests from some of their friends, and since I love it and found myself in a position where I need to find some more work, I figured I'd make myself available to more fur babies! I'm really only interested in caring for dogs, though I do love cats too, but there are allergies to contend with. I'm without any animals living here, so your dog can get undivided and attention. I'm happy to have them stay here, take them on frequent walks, and I can offer to work on some basic training skills if you like. I'm also available to walk from your place or just do drop-ins to give them some love! If you need someone to care for and spend some time with your pup, let me know! I'm working on a flexible schedule and often work from home, so I can dedicate my time around the needs of your fur baby. We can discuss your specific needs and make sure it all works. I have no other pets to worry about. I don't have a fenced in yard, but I live in a quiet neighborhood with time for frequent walks. I'm happy to bring your pup to the dog park if you prefer but I typically prefer to take on frequent long walks (if they are able). And for socialization, I have friends with well socialized neutral non-reactive dogs in fenced in yards for playtime (if you like).

À propos : I have had pets in my life for as long as I can remember, I have experience with taking care of both dogs and cats of all ages. I have two cats of my own and would love to be able to take care of your furry family! I’m currently working part time 3 nights a week which can keep me out of the house between 6-8 hours. I have a lot of free time to take the best care of your pups! I live in an apartment that does not have a yard however there is a large dog park about 5 minutes away by walk. I have two cats that adapt well with other animals, however if your pet does not get along well with cats, I can easily separate them within my apartment!

“Oluwakemi proved to be a first-rate dogsitter. She's a very warm and thoughtful person with keen knowledge of dog behaviour. At first Fred was unsure and a bit shy at being left with someone he didn't know, but he soon came to love Oluwakemi, slept on her pillow through the night and bombarded her with kisses day and night. Oluwakemi kept me informed of his activities, send me photos and a video of Fred settling in, going for walks and standing at the window watching people passing by on the sidewalk below. I'll certainly turn to Oluwakemi again for her expert rapport with Fred.”
