“I needed a sitter for Zsu Zsu in a pinch when the arrangements I thought I had fell through. I was very fortunate to find Joy on Rover. She responded right away and based on her profile and reviews I felt very comfortable leaving Zsu Zsu with her. It is a warm and wonderful family environment with children which suits Zsu Zsu perfectly because she loves everybody. Joy kept me informed as to how she was doing which was great. Joy is so lovely and cheerful and is made for this - a great asset to Rover. She and her children took great care of my little girl and for that I cannot say thank you enough.”

Lors de nos deux journées de tests, ils m’ont donné de bons conseils pour le déstresser, ainsi que pour la nourriture car ce n’est pas un gros mangeur. La première fois chez eux il était réservé et un peu craintif. Pour la deuxième il s’est laissé un peu plus faire, ils ont même réussis à le promener à l’extérieur. “Eva est une gardienne incroyable. Mon chihuahua, Naya, n'est vraiment pas facile à gérer, elle a un sacré caractère, mais Eva a été patiente et très gentille avec elle. Lorsqu'elle rencontrait un problème avec elle (par exemple Naya ne voulait pas sortir dehors et elle lui grognait dessus), elle m'écrivait pour que je lui explique quoi faire avec mon petit monstre. Je lui ai laissé la garde de Naya pendant mes vacances de 10 jours avec mon entière confiance. Eva parle anglais, mais ça ne dérange pas du tout la communication. Elle m'a envoyé plusieurs photos et des vidéos durant la garde. Son appartement est beau et sécuritaire puisqu'il est situé au 3e étage, alors il n'y a aucun risque de fugue pour notre animal. À propos : Most of my experience is with small pets such as budgies but I have had a cat since 2016 and have always adored dogs! I have also volunteered for a few months at the SPCA with cats. I'm excited to meet your lovely pets, big or small, and am offering dog-walking, house-sitting as well as check-ins. I also don't mind watering your plants while you're away. I live a few minutes from a metro station so I can easily and quickly get to your location if you live near one too. I'm quite flexible with my time at the moment and I'm prompt with answering calls and messages if you need to communicate with me urgently. I would never offer a service I don't have time for, so rest assured I will give your pets the care they need after work and on my days off. “From the moment we did our meet and greet I knew my fur baby was in good hands. She made us feel very welcome that already then, he was not ready leave and the meet up. He immediately love her calm presence and was begging for belly rubs. This is the first time a drop off felt so effortless and lightweight. She already had many variety of toys to play with , a dog feeding set up and a cozy bed. Which meant I was able to save the hassle and travel lighter. She responded right away and based on her profile and reviews I felt very comfortable leaving Zsu Zsu with her. It is a warm and wonderful family environment with children which suits Zsu Zsu perfectly because she loves everybody. Joy kept me informed as to how she was doing which was great. Joy is so lovely and cheerful and is made for this - a great asset to Rover. She and her children took great care of my little girl and for that I cannot say thank you enough.”
“From start to finish, Geneviève went above and beyond to make sure our pups were happy, comfortable, and truly cared for. She took the time to read through all of our dogs’ info and it showed! Every detail was remembered, and their routine was followed perfectly. We got tons of photos and videos throughout the stay, which gave us so much peace of mind. She also let the dogs play in the snow in the backyard which is their absolute favorite thing in the world. Our dogs adored Geneviève, and so did we. Harry did not want to leave went we went to pick them up!”
“J’ai choisi Nancy et Maxime car ils ont de l’expérience avec les chiens. Le mien est anxieux et n’a pas beaucoup de relation avec d’autres personnes ni chiens. Lors de nos deux journées de tests, ils m’ont donné de bons conseils pour le déstresser, ainsi que pour la nourriture car ce n’est pas un gros mangeur. La première fois chez eux il était réservé et un peu craintif. Pour la deuxième il s’est laissé un peu plus faire, ils ont même réussis à le promener à l’extérieur. À propos : Hi! I’m Alex (she/they)! I’ve led pack walks, supervised play groups in dog parks, dog sat in clients’ homes, and worked at a high volume dog daycare! I am comfortable with any size dog, of any age. I have administered medication and provided first aid (Walks N Wags first aid certified 2020). I am Fear Free Daycare and Boarding certified (2025), and I’m enrolled in a professional dog training school. I have experience handling and managing dogs that have behavioural problems, including dog-dog aggression, dog-human aggression, fear, separation anxiety, general anxiety, obsessive compulsive behaviours, etc. I'm happy to send photos and updates, as well as a behavioural report if requested! I will always be honest and transparent about your dog! All I do is care for dogs! Caring and training them is my passion! I am available all day, everyday and I’m used to being up before dawn and way after dark for potty breaks, feeding, training, decompression walks, etc. A dog in my care will have their own room with a window for their crate, bed, toys, and any other belongings that will help them settle and feel safe in my home. I have a few different lengths of leashes for different kinds of walks: potty breaks, loose leash walking, decompression walks, training, etc I have a car with a backseat ‘hammock’ and seat belts to attach to their harness for safety during car rides, either to a park, to and from your home, etc. I have a stocked pet first aid kit and have experience administering first aid.
