À propos : I've had nearly as many experiences with cats at the vet clinic I volunteered at as with dogs. I am strongly aware of their temperaments and can easily recognize what their body language signifies. Notably, I don't worry too much when a cat likes to spend its time alone, nor do I mind a kitten's occasionally sharp playfulness. All that matters to me is a cat's well-being, and I am aware of how this usually depends on a sitter's capacity to adapt to a cat's needs. I am as adaptable with cats as I have mentioned to be with dogs, more so even, because sometimes it's simpler to read a cat than a dog (in my personal opinion -- cats are quite "blunt" when it comes to showing you what they want!). I have a great ease of communication with cats, and if your cat is still in training and learning not to claw furniture, I am more than willing to help in upholding the training if I'm house-sitting. (PS: yes, I am the type of guy to sit next to a cat at a house party and spend all my time petting the cat so long as the cat accepts it... their calm aura is exactly what I need sometimes.)

À propos : I've own dogs since I was a kid. Grew up in a small village in the Laurentides. I'm currently the dad of an amazing Belgian Malinois so no dog are too much for me! I've been taking care of friends and neighbours dogs as I grew up and in college aswell! Me and my partner work at home. There is always one of us at home and when we go out we always take the dog with us. She is part of our family so your dog will be with a human 99% of the time! I have a pretty large apartment in Downtown. We have an area where dog play next to the building and a small yard for them to do their needs right by the side of the building. At home there many open space that we actively play with our malinois in !

À propos : Since the age of 8 years old our household always had a pet. I had guinea pigs growing up, birds, fish and then we got our dog that we had for 14 years. I currently have a guinea pig that I rescued from the SPCA. I'm self employed and I am a super active person. I'm always walking on the canal during breaks to stay moving. In addition, my office is also my home base so I'm always around! I always approach animals softly, making sure they feel trusted by me. I know some dogs can be nervous and don't love meeting new people, so I always try to approach calmly until they know me!

Prefer drop-in visits to walk a dog, which I can do everyday except Wednesday. Prefer weekends, I'm typically free on Thursday afternoons, Saturdays, and Sundays. Loup was very happy for the 3.5 weeks that gen took care of him and even out on the impromptu outings :) for the first time that i have left loup for so long, i had no worries!
