“Katie walks our Saint Bernard and Newfy, which is a huge handful! She has a quiet confidence that the dogs absolutely love and listen to! You can depend on Katie for all your animal need’s, she is the best!”

“Jenna has been exceptional with our 2 fur babies. She is always on time, takes great care of our puppies. They are always happy to see her when she arrives and will sit at the door waiting for her on days she's not coming. We are looking to many more days of her walking our pups.”

About: A lifetime animal lover and caretaker, I bred, raised, trained and managed a variety of animals in my lifetime. I gained the trust of animals that had a traumatic experience, I trained puppies and horses to reach their full potential, I worked on Canadian horse racing circuits, gained crucial animal behavior and reproduction knowledge, and I'm working on creating an animal care course in the future. The first thing I do as a part of my routine is to feed and water all the animals in my care, and do a welfare check on them. I let the dogs out for their bathroom and exercise break, and sprinkle pet care throughout my day, amid my part-time work and other regular activities. I've mastered the art of predator-prey behavior management so all the creatures have their needs met. Playing games of "chase the string" with our cats, harnessing our husky cross to the wagon to take the garbage out to the bins, making her pull the wagon and voice-command training her for everyone's greatest joy. Then there are the quiet times when we just hang out and enjoy each-others, company, taking a few minutes of downtime for petting and brushing, then it's off to camping, hiking and other fun discovery adventures together. Our dogs and cats are free-feeding, they ask for the door with their body language and we are prompt to let them in/out as requested. The cats stay indoors at all times. The dogs have a 8'X14' outdoor run that gets cleaned regularly and it has a dedicated door, so they can go potty and get exercise on-demand. The whole yard if fenced with a 7' tall wood fence, and the gate locks for safety. Our yard is beautifully landscaped with raised garden boxes, flower beds, fruit orchard and a fish pond. The dogs are allowed supervised games of fetch and catch-me-if-you-can in the yard. The dogs are kept quiet, as barking is discouraged using verbal commands. I provide a safe and enriching environment for our pets and our guests.

“Thanks for walking Ginger, Lorissa. I think she had a really good time with you. After you dropped her off, she kept pointing her nose to the front door. She wanted to go again!”

About: Hello! I have been an avid animal lover of all kinds my entire life. Being a long time pet owner myself I know how stressful it can be to leave your pets somewhere new so I want you to be sure to feel comfortable leaving your furry friends with me. I understand that pets are not “just pets” and they all require different needs. I will be sure your animal will receive the attention they require. In my home there are two other dogs Boo and Lily. Along with them we have a feline friend. We go for long walks either on leash or to the off leash if you allow daily. Your dog will be sure to receive all the cuddles and love it requires while you’re away. I do have a full time job and will be away for 8 hours at a time. I have however owned dogs on this schedule for 10+ years. Always making sure my first priority after/before work is that the dogs are all exercised, fed and receive all the attention they require. My house does have a dog door which leads to a fully fenced backyard. If crating is required I ask you bring the crate along and that is not a problem. Along with myself there will be two other dogs here to keep them company as well.

About: I used to be a veterinary technician so am comfortable and familiar with all kinds of dogs and cats and providing care to them and any high-level needs they may have. I have many friends whose animals I check in on, babysit, and walk. I set time aside to spend with my dogs both in the morning and night. Because I work during the day I make sure I check their and fill their water dish, make sure their is nothing left lying around that they may get into, and I bring them on my morning runs with me and when the temperature allows, I bring them on errands I weigh and measure my dogs' food to ensure they stay at the ideal weight, I ensure they get daily exercise, and take them to the vet on a regular basis. I have all pet friendly cleaning supplies and any food that may be harmful is stored high in the cupboards. I also do not feed people food.

About: I have never owned a dog, but have taken care of many of my friend's dogs over the years. I would love to have my own one day when life settles down and I can give them more attention. I will engage, play, cuddle, walk with your dogs, as I love the wholesome interactions and look forward to dog sitting or walking! I am currently working full time during the week, so I am mostly available early mornings, during lunch, evenings and weekends, however my schedule is also flexible throughout the day. I'm happy to bring pets to my house or to go to yours, wherever the animal will feel more comfortable. I have a fenced in yard with lots of space to run around and a safe home for all pets.

About: I am the person that pets come to in a crowded room. I love animals and I am sure that they sense that calm loving energy. I have the patients of a monk and I love animals and find joy in creating amazing moments for your pet to partake in. I enjoy watching an animal show its true potential and find happiness in new moments and memories. I am working part time so I can fit in pet care every Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. Any other days will have to be agreed upon but may be a possibility. Most days I will come to your house and take your pup out to the dog park for a long adventure or on leash for a new adventure beginning in your neighborhood. I have a full fenced in grass yard that is very dog friendly as well if that is an option.

About: Four years ago, I welcomed my dog Cheddar into my life, and that's when my journey into pet care began. What sets me apart from other sitters is the personal experience I gained through taking care of Cheddar. This special bond has given me a deep understanding of dogs and their unique needs. I am dedicated to providing exceptional care to every dog I look after. I make sure they are fed on time, engaging in playtime to keep them mentally stimulated. I also offer them plenty of love and companionship. Cheddar has inspired me to go above and beyond, ensuring that every dog in my care receives unmatched attention and care. Since I am currently focusing on my studies, pet care has become my part-time job. This means that I have plenty of time available to care for your fur babies. I have a flexible schedule that allows me to prioritize their needs and give them the attention and care they deserve. I ensure a safe and clean environment, making sure there are no hazards that could harm the pets. I follow any specific instructions given by the owners regarding feeding, medication, or routines. I provide regular exercise and playtime to keep their energy levels in check.

About: Hi there! My name is Kyla and I am currently a nurse, but I am looking for something new that gets me outside with furry friends. I have always grown up with critters: snakes, hamsters, fish, cats, and dogs. I have a German Shepherd cross and a Field Golden Retriever, both whom I adore. They are the sugar and spice of my life. I like small and large dogs, and I have experience with reactive pets as my shepherd struggles with same and don’t mind going out of my way to find a quiet place to walk reactive pups. I have two small positions and I work rurally. Some weeks I am wide open and others are quite tight. I tend to plan a week-month out. I don’t take clients pets home as my dogs are dog selective. I am very happy to come to care for your pets at your home. How I care for my own pets is; obviously their essential needs (food, water, brushing, bathing) but also walking and supervised enrichment activities. This can include snuffle mats, frozen lick bowls, chews, and games like fetch/ tugs. I am happy to have a conversation about including this while I look after your pet. I do not provide treats or materials for activities.

About: I grew up on a farm taking care of cows, chickens, barn cats and dogs. I currently have two dogs (1 outside and 1 inside) and 3 cats (2 in the barn and 1 in the house). I am currently a student athlete at Lethbridge College so while my schedule is busy, I will always make time to take care of pets! I love taking care of pets in their own home because they are more comfortable with their own stuff and can be themselves in a familiar place! I follow the pets schedule and do everything I can to make sure the pet is happy and healthy!

About: What sets me apart from other sitters? With over two years of professional experience working with dogs—and a lifetime of caring for and training my own and others’—I bring both heart and skill to every pup I meet. I'm currently completing my dog training certification (finishing September 2025!) and specialize in off-leash hiking and group pack management. I've led packs of 6–10 dogs on adventure hikes, building strong recall and engagement skills along the way. These days, I'm shifting my focus to more personalized, one-on-one care—giving each dog the time, attention, and tailored support they deserve. Whether it’s helping a puppy learn the ropes or offering a calm, understanding presence to senior dogs, I’m here to support your pup’s needs with a balance of fun, structure, and lots of love. Pet care is my routine! I recently relocated to the area and I’m excited to rebuild the full, furry schedule I had before my move. Caring for dogs isn’t just a job—it’s my lifestyle. From morning walks to evening snuggles, I live, breathe, eat, and sleep all things pet care. Whether it’s daily walks, training sessions, or just quality time, I love filling my days with happy tails and muddy paws. Building trust and a strong bond is at the heart of how I care for every dog. My goal is to make sure your pup is having so much fun—and feeling so safe and loved—that they hardly notice you're gone. I treat your home with the utmost respect and your pet with even more. Former clients back in BC can vouch for the relationships I’ve built with both pets and their people—many of whom still keep in touch. Whether I’m staying overnight or just dropping in, I aim to be a calming, consistent, and positive presence in your dog’s routine.

About: I have had pets in my family since the age of 5 and played a large role in their care! After I moved away for university I have really missed my dog back home and would love to help you and your pet with any assistance! I am working full time 5 days a week, so I am available for early mornings and after work on those days but am completely free on my days off! I have a clean safe home with no backyard which prevents me from owning a pet of my own; however, in your home I would provide the top care for your pets as though they were my own!

About: Hi! I have been dog sitting for two years and I’ve sat more than 30 dogs while working from home. My partner and I have our own rescue baby, a three year old pup named Rumour, and I have a dog back home, a now old boy, named Mocha. My sister has a bearded dragon rescue named Ben who I consider my niece and we're pretty sure she (the lizard) hates us, but we love her regardless. We're both more fond of pets than we are of people and we'd love to host your pets when you're away. We'll make sure to give them plenty of yard time and attention so they don't miss you too much, and cater to any food/walk requirements they may have. My girl is good with other animals and is allowed free access anywhere in the house or yard, but if your pets have a no bed/no couch/no off-leash rules we can help reinforce that! We have a 2 bedroom on the first floor of a landed home, a big yard for the dogs to run around and plenty of room and enrichment toys for cats and dogs inside the house. I do shift work or work from home and my partner goes in about 2 days in the week so at least one of us is always available at home to provide constant supervision! We have taken care of puppies and senior dogs as well, and I can administer oral medication and prepare home cooked food if required. My partner has been cat-sitting for about 6 months and we both volunteer at the cat-shelter once every week. We also have a car and a dog safety seat belt in case your pet needs to be picked up or needs the vet, or if they just like car rides! We can't wait to meet your babies ♥️ I work remotely as a designer and I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to cater to any kind of walking/feeding schedule that a pet might need I have the time and energy to keep an eye on your baby and adhere to any safety/health precautions you have set up in your home

She is very passionate about animals, and I am certain that she will provide the utmost quality of care and love towards any animal she will encounter! Kyla is an exceptional pet owner to her two dogs often taking them on walks/playing fetch with them everyday, feeding them a balanced diet, and taking immediate action when her dogs are feeling ill/injured (it also helps that she works as a nurse in an emergency room, so she is great under pressure!!).
