About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my extensive experience and unique skills in pet care. I have a deep understanding and love for dogs of all ages, particularly senior dogs. Having cared for my own senior dog for many years, I am well-versed in the special attention and care they require, from administering medications to ensuring their comfort and well-being. Additionally, I have a unique background working with mushing dogs in Alaska. This experience has equipped me with exceptional skills in handling high-energy dogs and understanding their needs for physical activity and mental stimulation. “Kim was a magnificent dog sitter! I had to work 14 hour shifts for an entire week and came home to my dogs fast asleep every night. Each morning before I left for work the dogs dishes would be full (a mindful premeasure on Kim's part.) and she would arrive before just as I was ready to leave. “We have left our dog with Melissa on a few occasions now. From drop off to pick up it was a great experience. At pick up it was apparent that our dog loved her experience with Melissa! She just looked like another member of the family! Our dog had epilepsy, and Melissa had no issues with administering her medication. I would definitely recommend!”

About: I’ve taken care of animals since I was a young kid. They have always been my fascination and I can often be found reading training books and watching videos on animal behaviour. I’ve trained puppies, given medications as well as owned and cared for own animals. I love being able to give each pet exactly what they need and deserve as well as making tons of new furry friends! Currently I’m a student at the UofL and am the proud owner of a soon to be senior cat! I am available to give care with 3 day notice as I do have a school schedule! However once I get comfortable with clients and their pets more flexibility is given. I do require meet and greets for dogs! First and foremost are meet and greets with pet and owner to make sure everyone is comfortable. I’ll discuss any care needs, training needs or any concerns and answer any and all questions asked! I strive to give the care needed for the pets I am taking care of and that requires adapting my care to them! I have confidence in my experience and ability that I am able to provide each pet I see with excellent care and each owner with peace of mind.

“Abby has taken care of my dogs and cats. She is the best!! My cats are quite particular and that doesn’t stop her from winning them over! My dogs love her they get so excited when she comes. She has walked our elderly dog and goes slow for his comfort. When she comes in it is competition between the dogs to get to her first. I completely trust her with my house and my animals (who are like my kids). She has stayed with them for weeks and I never have to worry.”

“Shay is an amazing, reliable and trustworthy care giver for most all pets, especially dogs. I have tried multiple sitters for my two dogs and my young cat which ended in either rhubarb poisoning or lack of care towards the litter box but when I can home after shay had been watching them I finally felt at peace! My house was clean and kept, my dogs both as well mannered as I left them, and my cat peacefully asleep with a CLEAN litter box, She kept me up to date daily on their well being and always checked with me with any questions even as simple as what dog treats she could give them. If you want to relax and know your home and pets are safe I can not express enough tag this is the sitter you’re looking for! Shay has been available many times last minute for my husband and I and always greets us with the same warm energy, she truest has a passion for animals.”
