I had a lot of anxiety and worry going in but Melissa calmed my nerves and was very patient with all my questions. My boy stayed at her house for 4 nights. I had initially planned on leaving him 2 nights but I was recovering from a medical procedure and needed some extra time. Melissa was able to accommodate an extra two nights Melissa sent me numerous pictures and videos throughout each day. My boy looked like he was having the time of his life. When I brought him home he was so tired and took very long naps from all the playing he had done the last several days. If I could give above 5 stars I would. I don't have as much experience with cats however, I have done a few stints of sitting in the past. I enjoy getting outdoors for walks daily so having a companion would make it even better! If you need someone to stay at your house for a weekend or even a week as well, I have no problem with a meet and greet and seeing if it's a good fit :) Thank you for your consideration! About: Dog's have always been a love of mine and I have experience handling dogs of many different sizes, breeds, temperaments and ages. I'm not a very good runner but I'd definitely love to take some furry friends on some nice long walks through town, or to the park or just wherever our feet take us. I don't mind if a dog pulls a little and I can handle a dog who can be reactive to certain stimuli. I have experience teaching basic obedience as well as some cool tricks ('tidy up your toys' and 'bring your leash' being a few) and I'm always looking to try out more if there is anything you want your dog to work on. In training I prefer to take a positive approach and I find it works very well. I work with dogs with a variety of special needs and can accommodate whatever special care your dog may need. I work part time at a doggy pool and am working towards certification in canine massage so if you’d like to arrange either service as well, feel free to ask. I am currently very flexible with my scheduling and I hope to hear from you soon. I currently work part-time with varying availability but usually can find lots of time throughout the day to dedicate to your pets and their care. I adjust my care to the needs of the specific animals I am entrusted. We have 4 grand dogs and love to help out our friends and neighbors who need dog sitting/walking from time to time. When I’m not with my own or sitting for others, I volunteer at the Humane Society because I genuinely miss being around animals.
