About: I have always had dogs and cats as pets - was one of the founding members of the Northern Alberta Society for Animal Protection (NASAP) - have worked as a Board Member of the Medicine Hat SPCA, and worked for a short while at the Ardrossan Vet Clinic. I'm still very involved in animal rescue and care on a volunteer basis. I acted as one of two mentors for the group establishing the Strathcona County Cat Shelter. I also pet and house sit through "Trusted Housesitters" and have been to Nova Scotia and Vancouver through them. I've been asked back to all my sits when they have other dates! I have my Pet First Aid certificate. I work from home, so can simply bring my laptops and work from YOUR home instead. Very reliable and clean and have lots of references. About: I had a shih tzu for 12 years and she was the light of my life. I helped teach her tricks and helped take care of her when she got sick. Personally I want to get out more and be more active, so what better way to do that than with some fluffy friends! I have work lined up for most of July and the second half of August. I am looking for work mostly for May and jJune as well as Fridays and some Saturdays in July, then the first 2ish week in August before I move to the city to start school again in September! I have a partially fences yard and lots of walking trails near my house, but I am very attentive and will not let your dog off leash unless I get an ok from the parents or I am in a secure area like a dog park.

About: I’m a proud furmum of one, foster furmum of one & furgrandma of three with 20 years of experience. I inherited my 1st pup way back then & because we didn’t want him to be lonely we got him a friend & now we foster! I’m a walker/runner who enjoys having company putting in all those miles each & every day. We have a big beautiful fenced yard perfect for fetch or chasing tails complete with shaded areas but if your pup prefers lounging on the couch that’s allowed too! Boarding your pup with me is never boring. Reliable & trustworthy makes me the perfect fit to stop in & check on your fur baby for a much needed potty break & cuddle or to pick them up for a walk in the park or around the block! I will only ever offer dates and times that I can be 100% attentive to your pups needs whether it’s when I can board or take them for a walk. I have two pups & a cat (that will most likely hide). A huge fenced yard complete with shaded areas that’s pet friendly inside and out!

About: I love going for walks, especially In The Edmonton river valley. I have always enjoyed playing frisbee or catch with dogs. Have taken care of my brothers 2 dogs since they where puppies. I believe that regular bathroom breaks and excercide is very important for dogs and I am hoping that by dog walking it will promote me to excercise and be outside more frequently. I work retail part time so I am available any time I am not working although I have no consistent schedule. My skills include being very patient and being willing to be flexible with the expectations you have as well for example, training to walk properly, maintaining rules you have around your house such as not being on the furniture etc.

About: Before I moved out to alberta I dog sat lots of family's pets in my local home town. Which included walking feeding and medication if needed. My twins are in daycare Monday to Friday so I have a ton of spare time during those hours. Currently don't work so alot of my time is available. Dog Boarding: In my home, I provide a safe, clean, and welcoming environment where pets can feel comfortable and relaxed. I stick to their regular feeding and potty schedule, provide plenty of playtime, walks, and quiet time as needed. I always monitor pet interactions to ensure they get along and have designated spaces for rest. Owners receive daily updates and photos for peace of mind. Drop-In Visits: When caring for pets in your own home, I follow the pet’s normal routine as closely as possible to reduce stress. I ensure they’re fed on time, walked or let outside as needed, administer medications if required, and give them attention and affection. I will provide regular updates with photos Dog Walking: For dog walking services, I always ensure dogs are walked safely using a secure harness or collar. I follow any specific instructions, such as avoiding certain streets, or keeping walks short due to age or health. I bring water if needed and provide a full report card with notes and pictures after every walk.

About: My name is Caitlin I am 27 years old and I have been in the animal industry since I was 16 years old. I have experience with dogs of all ages and breeds, cats and caged animals. I do not take care of spiders or snakes. I have worked in various Doggy Daycares and Dog boarding along with pet sitting in my home for various companies in and around Calgary. I have my Pet First Aid and in the middle of getting my Dog Training Certificate. I have taught a 4 year old 60lb Shepherd not to pull - it isn’t easy but it is doable! I volunteered in a vet clinic and have knowledge administering medication orally and through injection I have 1 dog ; Jasper is a Border Collie x Havanese that is 10 years old and a retired service dog. I have trained Jasper to be my husbands service dog for his Type 1 Diabetes, using my own techniques following Karen Pryor methods, I do not agree with Cesar Milan and will not use his techniques. I am very active person that does not stay home any day of the week. I am constantly with my dog and kids which includes going to the river, dog park and various walks in the parks. I am available everyday of the week, my dog(s) are never left alone longer than an hour and most times come with me for a safe car ride! I am excited to chat with you about your pup! I love to talk about dogs ❤️ I’m currently a stay at home mother with my 3 year old son and my 16 month old daughter, I have plenty of time throughout the day to care for all your pets needs as I always in cooperate the pets into my schedule around my children. All animals are family to me, they are my fur babies and will always give above excellent care. They will not be left outside unattended ever and I will spend every minute with them.

About: Dogs have been part of our lives from the day we were born. We lost our last pup after 15 years and have a void, would love to share our love for animals with your pup. You will not be disappointed! I currently work 4 days a week and am around on weekends. We will make sure your dog gets the exercise, attention and love that it deserves. We live in a house with a fenced yard that backs onto a large field. I can easily crate your dog if needed. It will be spoiled with all the love and attention it is used to. About: Hello my name is Trish, I have had a love for dogs since I was a child my first Experience taking care of pets was my first hamster fluffy and my first dog peewee and from there my love of pets was born and I have had many different kind of animals over the years. I started taking care of neighbors pets when I was about 7 and helped every summer on friends and neighbors farms near by. By the time I was in Jr high I started work program for school at a veterinary clinic and stayed on till after high school. I started working at pet cetra and learned grooming and pet photography. Up until recently I had pets but when they passed I haven't seem to find what I'm looking for so I decided to see about pet sitting. All animals will be given baths if needed and any special needs will be taken care of. I've taken care of quite a few special needs animals and welcome them with open arms. Any special food or treat needs will be discussed with the pet parent and delt with according to there wishes. Fresh water and food will be given at times set by owners and treats at owners decretion. If I'm caring for an over night pet guest they will be welcome to sleep on the bed with me but I do ask that pet owners bring at least one item with there smell on it as well as there bed so they feel safe and comfortable at night time. And one toy of there choice is request as well so they feel comfortable playing with it. I'm currently not working due to a medical condition, and have a lot if free time on my hands I get up fairly early and go for a walk after my coffee, relax a bit and then go for a another walk. Since I have been off work I have been looking to fill my time and this seems like a perfect fit for an animal lover. In my home animal have free roam no couch bed or floor is off limits to them. They would be treated like family and loved as such. They will be spoiled rotten with me as I love all animals. I do request one item with owners scent on it as well as a first time meet to make sure animals feel comfortable being with me. I would never want an animal to feel scared being here.

About: Having owned two wonderful dogs in my life and been a special friend & "aunt" of several other dogs and some cats. I am highly experienced and motivated to help you care for your beloved furry family members. I am warm, friendly and calm around animals and I find they are naturally drawn to me. I am trained in reiki and use gental reiki energy to balance and relax your pets in your absence. I do contract work and I am writing a book, so my time is flexible and I am available to spend quality time with your pets. About: In addition to caring for my own dog for the past 19 years, I volunteered at a local animal shelter for 6 years where I walked and attended to all kinds of dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m currently doing pet sitting fulltime and will continue doing it as it makes me happy, when boarding I can only have cats in the house due to Landlord rules! I’m more than willing to take dogs out for long walks as much as they want. I’m always mindful of the dog’s character and boundaries as well as the owner’s. I’ll always be sure to receive this information from the owner prior to walking/visiting pets and keep the owners updated as much as possible when being responsible for their pets. About: We live on 80 beautiful acres close to the city. We are fully set up to accommodate dogs and cats, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Jasmine works 4 days a week in Edmonton, so is available to provide services in and around your home as well. We have over 30 years experience training and caring for dogs and cats and farm animals. We have never met an animal we couldn’t immediately connect with and we’re passionate about providing loving, structured care. We have many wonderful references. Jasmine works part time in Edmonton, Tuesday to Friday. We have four indoor cats and one Cocker Spaniel. We recently lost our two best canine friends, Otis and Sadie, to the rainbow bridge. They were both large black lab crosses, so we are fully equipped to care for cats and dogs of all sizes. Along with our adorable 1946 two story farmhouse, we also have a beautiful cabin on my property, which is an option if you need boarding for your cat(s) or dog(s) that won’t get along well with others. The cabin is heated with a small wood stove and includes a fully fenced yard. Jasmine’s mother lives on the same property (in her own home) and she is also available to help us. Most of the time, one of us is home on the property, and it is rare that we are all off the property for more than 3 or 4 consecutive hours. Whether you require boarding at our farm or in your home for a day, a week, or a month, you can rest assured that we take caring for animals very seriously and the safety and comfort of your fur baby will be forefront in our minds at all times. Our Cocker Spaniel, Wilson is extremely easy to get along with and thrilled to keep our charges company. He misses Otis and Sadie a great deal and loves having guests come to visit him. As mentioned, we can provide a fenced yard or 80 acres of safe space to roam under supervision. We can also use leashes when necessary or requested. We are many miles from the nearest busy road. You can be sure that your babies will be safe and well supervised on their country get away. We’re also happy to provide care in your own home and my attention to detail and safety will prevail at your home just as it will at ours.

About: I have loved dogs my entire life and although I am not currently able to have my own pet because of frequent travel, I love being able to dog-sit for others! I will cuddle, feed, walk, and love your dog as if they are my own. I am a full time stay at home empty nester, and I am very experienced with dogs. I had my own two miniature poodles throughout my life up until they passed . I love dogs and often look after my grandogs who live in different cities. I also have looked after my neighbours dogs.
