About: I have always had dogs and cats as pets - was one of the founding members of the Northern Alberta Society for Animal Protection (NASAP) - have worked as a Board Member of the Medicine Hat SPCA, and worked for a short while at the Ardrossan Vet Clinic. I'm still very involved in animal rescue and care on a volunteer basis. I acted as one of two mentors for the group establishing the Strathcona County Cat Shelter. I also pet and house sit through "Trusted Housesitters" and have been to Nova Scotia and Vancouver through them. I've been asked back to all my sits when they have other dates! I have trained a puppy from 10 weeks old and have experience with different breeds and ages. I have only ever administered topical medication but am willing to learn and expand my knowledge. I do not take care of spiders or snakes. I have worked in various Doggy Daycares and Dog boarding along with pet sitting in my home for various companies in and around Calgary. I have my Pet First Aid and in the middle of getting my Dog Training Certificate. I have taught a 4 year old 60lb Shepherd not to pull - it isn’t easy but it is doable! I volunteered in a vet clinic and have knowledge administering medication orally and through injection I have 1 dog ; Jasper is a Border Collie x Havanese that is 10 years old and a retired service dog. I have trained Jasper to be my husbands service dog for his Type 1 Diabetes, using my own techniques following Karen Pryor methods, I do not agree with Cesar Milan and will not use his techniques. I am very active person that does not stay home any day of the week. I am constantly with my dog and kids which includes going to the river, dog park and various walks in the parks. I am available everyday of the week, my dog(s) are never left alone longer than an hour and most times come with me for a safe car ride! I am excited to chat with you about your pup! I love to talk about dogs ❤️ I’m currently a stay at home mother with my 3 year old son and my 16 month old daughter, I have plenty of time throughout the day to care for all your pets needs as I always in cooperate the pets into my schedule around my children. All animals are family to me, they are my fur babies and will always give above excellent care. They will not be left outside unattended ever and I will spend every minute with them.

About: In addition to caring for my own dog for the past 19 years, I volunteered at a local animal shelter for 6 years where I walked and attended to all kinds of dogs of all sizes and personalities. I’m currently doing pet sitting fulltime and will continue doing it as it makes me happy, when boarding I can only have cats in the house due to Landlord rules! I’m more than willing to take dogs out for long walks as much as they want. I’m always mindful of the dog’s character and boundaries as well as the owner’s. I’ll always be sure to receive this information from the owner prior to walking/visiting pets and keep the owners updated as much as possible when being responsible for their pets. I'm currently free all summer so pet sitting is free fulltime I can take same day bookings if needed and can handle 3 jobs at once! I make sure the animals are comfortable with cats I'll show them the litter box and cat trees make sure they have food and water, with dogs at clients houses I make sure they get to know me and I don't force the animals to come to me I make sure they have everything they need to make them feel safe

About: We live on 80 beautiful acres close to the city. We are fully set up to accommodate dogs and cats, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Jasmine works 4 days a week in Edmonton, so is available to provide services in and around your home as well. We have over 30 years experience training and caring for dogs and cats and farm animals. We have never met an animal we couldn’t immediately connect with and we’re passionate about providing loving, structured care. We have many wonderful references. Jasmine works part time in Edmonton, Tuesday to Friday. We have four indoor cats and one Cocker Spaniel. We recently lost our two best canine friends, Otis and Sadie, to the rainbow bridge. They were both large black lab crosses, so we are fully equipped to care for cats and dogs of all sizes. Along with our adorable 1946 two story farmhouse, we also have a beautiful cabin on my property, which is an option if you need boarding for your cat(s) or dog(s) that won’t get along well with others. The cabin is heated with a small wood stove and includes a fully fenced yard. Jasmine’s mother lives on the same property (in her own home) and she is also available to help us. Most of the time, one of us is home on the property, and it is rare that we are all off the property for more than 3 or 4 consecutive hours. Whether you require boarding at our farm or in your home for a day, a week, or a month, you can rest assured that we take caring for animals very seriously and the safety and comfort of your fur baby will be forefront in our minds at all times. Our Cocker Spaniel, Wilson is extremely easy to get along with and thrilled to keep our charges company. He misses Otis and Sadie a great deal and loves having guests come to visit him. As mentioned, we can provide a fenced yard or 80 acres of safe space to roam under supervision. We can also use leashes when necessary or requested. We are many miles from the nearest busy road. You can be sure that your babies will be safe and well supervised on their country get away. We’re also happy to provide care in your own home and my attention to detail and safety will prevail at your home just as it will at ours.

About: I’ve had experience caring for cats since I was 10 years old. feeding, grooming, cleaning litter boxes, and giving them daily attention and playtime. I’m very comfortable around cats and Dogs and understand the importance of patience and consistency with them. I also cared for my ex-partner’s dog and her grandparents’ dog for about 2 years. My responsibilities included feeding, walking, basic grooming, playtime, companionship, and making sure they stayed on their regular routines. Through this experience, I became comfortable handling dogs with different personalities and energy levels. I genuinely enjoy spending time with animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I’m currently working part time at California pizza kitchen as a server. I also go to NAIT for accounting. I’m taking two classes this spring so it shouldn’t take up much time of my schedule. I also take guitar lessons regularly but it’s 30 mins a day so it’s not an issue I always prioritize the pet’s safety, comfort, and routine. In a client’s home, I make sure pets have fresh water, are fed on schedule, get enough exercise/playtime, and receive lots of attention and companionship. I also keep the home clean and follow any instructions carefully, including medications, walking routines, and house rules. I pay close attention to pets’ behavior and body language to make sure they are comfortable and stress-free. During walks, I stay alert to surroundings, keep dogs securely leashed, and avoid unsafe situations or interactions with unfamiliar animals if needed.

About: I have loved dogs my entire life and although I am not currently able to have my own pet because of frequent travel, I love being able to dog-sit for others! I will cuddle, feed, walk, and love your dog as if they are my own. I am a full time stay at home empty nester, and I am very experienced with dogs. I had my own two miniature poodles throughout my life up until they passed . I love dogs and often look after my grandogs who live in different cities. I also have looked after my neighbours dogs. I am friendly and loving, I have a clean and safe environment inside and outside of my home with a fully fenced yard. I will always respect your wishes in regard to caring for your pet!

About: With over a decade of experience walking dogs starting at 12. Ive developed a deep passion, spending time with animals and ensuring they get the exercise, and socialization they need. I am currently off work so I will have lots of available time to walk your animals and/or care for them. I also dont work on the weekends and am done at 3pm during the week, when I am back at work. I can transfer them in crate if needed. If there is no fence at the home I will keep them on a leash. I have a fenced yard.

About: Growing up around animals all my life, I've got experience with all kinds of pets! I love dogs and the energy they radiate! I try to go above and beyond with everything I do, and take pride in my work! I will treat your dog as my own, and make sure that by the time you get your fur-baby back, they'll be pooped! All dogs being boarded will have to be friendly with cats as I have one and he is quite timid. I’m trying to stick more to dog walking, but I’d love to board your animal or do drop in visits for you as well! On our walks, you can expect your baby to be mentally stimulated, excersized, and tired by the time they’re home! If arranged, I can do one hour walks instead of the 30 minute walk Rover suggests!
