“Xana was fantastic! Every step of the way very amazing and communicative, easy to work with and the girls had an absolute blast with her! Cannot recommend her enough for your fury family, I know my girls loved the big yard but the real sweet side was her home being so welcoming and accepting! I usually hate leaving my dogs and have really bad anxiety and worry about them the entire time, but for the first time I didn’t have to worry cuz xana and her family had them”

“This was a wonderful first Rover experience. My dog seemed happy and healthy upon her return and Julie probably regular communication and quick responses. She has a nice property with friendly dogs. Will definitely use again.”

“Asialee, Jonathan and family are amazing with my senior dog Lily. I love the feedback I receive and they are so kind and gentle I have every confidence in leaving Lily in their care. This is my second time using this family and would highly recommend them if you ever need someone to trust with your fur-baby.”

“Arshjot gave such great care to my doggie while I was away for the weekend. Drop off and pick up was easy, she communicated with me throughout my dog’s stay with her and I felt totally at ease that he was in good care. I would definitely contact Arshjot again for dog sitting in the future!”

“Jenna is a fantastic dog sitter. We left on vacation for 2weeks and Jenna take an amazing care of our 17month old Millie. Millie is an energetic puppy with very little recall training ( she knows all the tricks, very loyal and never live your side, until she is outside), we definitely need to work on that. But, Jenna managed to keep her very happy with long walks and even did some training. She'll send me pictures of Millie and ask questions if necessary. I would highly recommend Jenna and will call her again when we are going to vacation next time.”

“Our first time using Rover and it was a great experience thanks to Rochelle. Super easy booking, clear communication and River came home exhausted after his sleepover and playtime! Will definitely be using again.”

“From the moment we met Paulo, it was clear our pup was in the most capable and caring hands. They took the time to understand our dog's routine—everything from feeding schedules to daily quirks—and reassured us with thoughtful updates and photos while we were away. Would definitely return.”

“Raine is clearly very knowledgeable. I feel very confident leaving Rue in her care. It’s is such a relief to know that Rue-B’s needs for a calm, confident caretaker are being met over and above expectations. I highly, highly recommend Raine. Superstar status ⭐️ Thanks Raine! I have a blissfully tired dog 🙂🐕💤”

“Great experience. Jimmy was good with communication and sent regular pictures. The 2 dogs got lots of walks and seemed very relaxed and happy when we picked them up. Jimmy was keen to get to know the dogs beforehand and asked lots of questions, which was reassuring. I would recommend and use again. Thanks Jimmy.”

About: Nicole and I share a lifelong bond with pets, having grown up surrounded by them. Throughout our adult lives, we've been dedicated pet owners, currently cherishing our 5-year-old dog, Bowser. From puppyhood, we've diligently trained him, and my work-from-home setup has allowed for ample time to prioritize his training and exercise needs. In addition to our canine companion, I have a rich history of caring for cats, involving tasks such as feeding, cleaning litter, and ensuring their safety outdoors, a responsibility I've carried since childhood. Nicole, on the other hand, has always had the joy of growing up with dogs. Our collective experiences form a foundation of pet expertise, and our shared passion for animals is reflected in the years of dedicated pet care we bring to Rover. As dedicated artists working from home and committed dog parents, Nicole and I seamlessly integrate our flexible schedules to prioritize your furry companion's needs and well being. If you'd like, my wonderful dog Bowser is eager to keep your pet company during walks or visits. I love exploring different environments, so we can hit the trails or stroll through town, depending on what your pet enjoys. Making sure bathroom breaks are on a regular schedule is a top priority for me. I'm also a fan of training and playtime, so I'll gladly tend to any other needs your pet might have. I'm here to tend to your pet's specific needs, so you can feel at ease knowing they are in good hands with their new friend.
“Ashleigh provided excellent care for Freddie. We were afraid he wouldn't want to leave with us after the fun time he had there. She was very flexible to our schedule which changed a few times.”

About: I lost my Great Pyrenees 2 years ago. Since then my girlfriend and I fostered 3 dogs for about 9 months in total. It was hard but very rewarding. I miss hanging with dogs but can’t necessarily commit to my own. I work full time but just five minutes away. My 19 year old daughter lives with me. She has a cat but they are in a separate space. I love going to for walks around the neighborhood, along the dyke, Hope Slough, or the Vedder river. I have a fenced backyard but it’s gravel, a large deck and a garden (no grass). There is grass in the front yard but it’s not fenced. Your pup would have full access to the house but there are stairs up to the main level and stairs going outside. I don’t mind having pups on the couch or my bed. I enjoy the company. My house is pretty quiet. Dogs usually like watching the squirrels and neighborhood activities from my large front window. My 19 year old daughter lives in the basement suite with her cat. She loves animals too and can help with walks and potty breaks when I am at work. I find having a dog gives me purpose and joy. I can’t commit to a dog right now so this seems like a great alternative!
About: Since I was a young child, I have been so drawn to a wide variety of animals. I have rescued and rehabilitated many wild animals, and taken care of many pets of all sizes! I have personally had cats, dogs, bunnies, birds, lizards, snakes, fish, chickens and nuce as loving pets. I admire how each animal is truly unique and special. My dream ia to open an animal rescue someday and help find long-term loving homes for many of our homeless local cat and dog populations. Everywhere I go, I make new animal friends, and they are drawn to my calm and caring energy. Your pet will be treated like my own, and you can trust me to keep your pet safe. I currently have 2 cats of my own whom I absolutely love and spoil! Call me Miss Do-little! My personal schedule is quite flexible, and I can often accommodate short notice bookings, and be flexible with my client's schedules. I ask questions to ensure proper care and follow owners instructions to keep their pet and myself safe and well. People can trust me in their homes and with their animals! My personal schedule is flexible and I work my own appointments around my work schedule. If I am injured or sick, I will contact you ASAP to let you know if we need to modify our booking. I always require a meet and greet at my home to see if your dog will get along with my cats. I will not bring a dog into my home that has any history of violence towards cats. When I care for a pet in my home, I always make sure there is nothing in my home or backyard that could hurt them or make them sick BEFORE their arrival. My cat's food gets moved up and your dog gets a large clean water bowl. All animal food, treats, medicines are locked away for safety. I have a fully fenced backyard with a secure gate, and a cable line for dogs that need to be extra secured. There are multiple spots in my backyard with shade and plenty of space for your dog to sunbathe and roll in the grass. There is always access to clean drinking water and I have toys specifically for outside play. I have a gate in the hallway to allow separation from my cats if need be, and my cats get full access to our catio patio. I will leash your dog inside my home while they get used to my cats, to keep everyone safe. Your dog is welcome to sleep on a bed on my bedroom floor or on my bed if they choose to. I have blankets on each of my couches that get changed and washed between each dog, so they are welcome to nap or cuddle with me on the couch. About: Growing up I’ve had pitbulls, chihuahuas, hedgehogs , hamsters, bunnies, lizards and snakes growing up. Love having animals around, just not ready for any full time of our own, Thought this was a great step! I have 3 kids in school, I hike 4-6 times a week, I love bringing dogs with me so ask about my daily pricing but I usually charge an hour fee ( with a small pickup fee to cover gas) and we are gone for 1.5-6 hours of exercise depending on the day. Sometimes we are with other furry friends or people friends, I can work with off leash or on leash and we usually focus on free time and working on the dogs recall, sit and manners with other explorers. On hot days we like to wander down to the dog beach where we have been working on swimming skills I have a backyard, and some acreage beside us. Love hikes and going to the river. Always ready for any adventure your dog is ready for even if it means staying home and getting some rest.
“Ashleigh was so accommodating today even though we surprised her by bringing Finley 1 day early Finley came home bathed and smelling great and very calm and happy . I think he really enjoyed his time socializing with Ashleigh’s pups! We’ll definitely try to make this a weekly event .”

About: Our experience with animals extends far beyond casual pet ownership. We’ve spent years living closely alongside dogs and other animals in ways that required attentiveness, structure, adaptability, handling skills, and an ongoing willingness to learn and observe the individual in front of us. We have experience with a wide range of temperaments, energy levels, routines, and care needs — from highly active working-type dogs requiring engagement and structure, to sensitive dogs needing slower introductions and emotional awareness, to senior dogs benefiting from patience, comfort, and mobility-conscious care. Our approach is rooted less in domination or rigid expectation, and more in communication, observation, consistency, and building trust. We pay close attention to body language, stress levels, pacing, environmental influences, social comfort, and how each animal is coping and responding throughout the day. Daily life for us already revolves heavily around animals, outdoor time, enrichment, movement, and hands-on care, so dogs staying with us are integrated into an environment where attentiveness and involvement are already part of the rhythm of the home rather than something added on temporarily. We’re continually interested in learning more about behaviour, handling, enrichment, health, relationship dynamics, and the many small details that help animals feel understood, supported, and safe. Dogs are already a very integrated part of our daily lives and routines. Much of our time is naturally spent outdoors, moving between walks, training, enrichment, animal care, and day-to-day life alongside our own dogs and horses. Because of that, dogs staying with us are joining an environment where attentiveness, structure, companionship, and engagement are already consistently present rather than needing to be artificially created around a schedule. Our routines tend to include a balance of outdoor time, decompression, structured movement, rest, observation, and calm companionship throughout the day. We adjust pacing and activity levels depending on the individual dog — some thrive with more exploration and engagement, while others benefit more from slower routines, shorter outings, and a quieter atmosphere. Since animal care is already deeply woven into how we live, dogs in our care are not simply being “checked in on” between unrelated commitments. They are intentionally included in the flow of daily life with close presence, supervision, and consideration given to their comfort, energy, and overall well-being throughout the day. Each service from us consists of attentive, quality care tailored to your pet's individual needs and comforts, with consideration for healthy growth within their capacity. We care about creating a safe place for precious lives to challenge themselves, bond, play, rest, grow and thrive. Our care comes with one on one time with their handler, obedience training, loving boundaries, outdoor play time, opportunity to socialize with other pets, safe down time and emotional regulation as well as advocating protection throughout their experience with us.

“Xana was fantastic! Every step of the way very amazing and communicative, easy to work with and the girls had an absolute blast with her! Cannot recommend her enough for your fury family, I know my girls loved the big yard but the real sweet side was her home being so welcoming and accepting! But, Jenna managed to keep her very happy with long walks and even did some training. She'll send me pictures of Millie and ask questions if necessary. I would highly recommend Jenna and will call her again when we are going to vacation next time.”

I have a been of shared dog toys that get replaced or washed often.
