About: I lost my Great Pyrenees 2 years ago. Since then my girlfriend and I fostered 3 dogs for about 9 months in total. It was hard but very rewarding. I miss hanging with dogs but can’t necessarily commit to my own. I work full time but just five minutes away. My 19 year old daughter lives with me. She has a cat but they are in a separate space. I love going to for walks around the neighborhood, along the dyke, Hope Slough, or the Vedder river. I have a fenced backyard but it’s gravel, a large deck and a garden (no grass). There is grass in the front yard but it’s not fenced. Your pup would have full access to the house but there are stairs up to the main level and stairs going outside. I don’t mind having pups on the couch or my bed. I enjoy the company. My house is pretty quiet. Dogs usually like watching the squirrels and neighborhood activities from my large front window. My 19 year old daughter lives in the basement suite with her cat. She loves animals too and can help with walks and potty breaks when I am at work. I find having a dog gives me purpose and joy. I can’t commit to a dog right now so this seems like a great alternative!

About: Hi there, my name is Paulo, and I have had dogs living with me all my life. My family and I love animals, especially the chubby dogs :) Two years ago, we lost our dear friend Bruce to cancer. Bruce was a sweet English bulldog that came to our house as a tiny puppy and moved with us from Brazil to Canada. Our hearts are still broken after Bruce, but my daughter Maria had the amazing idea to host animals at our home to help with the healing process, so...long story short, we would love to take care of your friend while you're gone...especially Maria! I work from home as an IT manager for a big company, and my wife works as a teaching assistant in downtown Chilliwack. My work is quite flexible, so your friend will have all deserved attention 24x7 :) We live in a three-story house with a good-sized and fenced backyard. Your friend will be able to enjoy the whole house like it's his or hers :)
About: Since losing my Shar pei, Laika to cancer this year I have greatly missed caring for dogs. I treat your dog like my own and enjoy our time together as much, if not more than they do! I currently have a small dog he’s a senior, he does get protective over his toys and dish bowls, as most doggies are, I can always put him in another room to settle down, just takes time for him to adjust to new friends. I’m currently working part-time so my work schedule changes bi-weekly not a set schedule for days and times. I only work short hours. I’m available during the week and weekends. I make sure that my doggie is well looked after especially when me and my mom are working, we do ask our neighbor to come and let him out for potty breaks the times we are not home. My pup is a senior dog but he still acts like a baby as he loves to play and go for walks. His safety and care is our main priority. He gets a lot of affection and belly scratches. I do brush his hair to help groom him. I do feed him twice a day and make sure he’s always got a bowl of fresh water near him. He does have many beds in our place I’ve lost count. He loves to sun tan and be near the window to look out and do leave the Tv on during the day when we are not home specifically the animal channel to keep him entertained. About: Growing up I’ve had pitbulls, chihuahuas, hedgehogs , hamsters, bunnies, lizards and snakes growing up. About: I love dogs since I’m a kid. Finally got my own dog 5 years ago and would love to take care of yours too! I believe all dogs need exercise to be healthy so I really follow through to provide great outdoor adventures hiking. I am on maternity leave now and have plenty of time to take care of dogs during the day or night. I already take care of my own dog Louie and he would be so happy to have a friend to play with! For doggy day care, I offer pick up and drop off as well. I take my own dog for 2 walks a day, which average 2-4 hours exercise. Ideal if you have a pup full of energy! I always go where there are not too many people so dogs can run off leash and be happy. I can also walk your dog on leash if it’s required. The rest of the day is spent at home, with food and water as needed and lots of love. In the summer, I can bring the dogs to Cultus Lake for a swim. My strata unfortunately does not allow pit bull or Rottweiler breeds. Your dog must be friendly with other dogs as Louie is with me at all time. He is neutered and very gently with other dogs.

About: I have taken care of animals throughout my life, mostly dogs and I have been vegan for ten years and counting so my love for animals is strong. I am looking for extra work outside out my schedule. I am available all day on weekends and mornings, late afternoons, and evenings during the weekdays. About: I lost my Great Pyrenees 2 years ago. Since then my girlfriend and I fostered 3 dogs for about 9 months in total. It was hard but very rewarding. I miss hanging with dogs but can’t necessarily commit to my own. I work full time but just five minutes away. My 19 year old daughter lives with me. She has a cat but they are in a separate space. I love going to for walks around the neighborhood, along the dyke, Hope Slough, or the Vedder river. I have a fenced backyard but it’s gravel, a large deck and a garden (no grass). There is grass in the front yard but it’s not fenced. Your pup would have full access to the house but there are stairs up to the main level and stairs going outside. I don’t mind having pups on the couch or my bed. I enjoy the company. My house is pretty quiet. Dogs usually like watching the squirrels and neighborhood activities from my large front window. My 19 year old daughter lives in the basement suite with her cat. She loves animals too and can help with walks and potty breaks when I am at work. I find having a dog gives me purpose and joy. I can’t commit to a dog right now so this seems like a great alternative!

About: I am a dog lover, and have run, trained, and explored with dogs almost every day of my life! I have three dogs of my own, and have always had busy working dogs with me. I spend the majority of my personal time training dogs, and I have experience with reactive dogs, nervous dogs, and dogs with very, very high energy requirements, as well as your classic couch potatoes. I work full time as a teacher, and during the week can fit in dog walks or drop in visits in the mornings and evenings before or after work. My weekends are open to take dogs on adventures! When I am out on summer break June through August, I have full availability to wear out dogs. Dogs are always very closely supervised in your yard or mine (line of sight). About: Hi I'm Katie! Also known as that British lady! I have owned dogs my entire life, usually always two at a time. I currently have one of my own after losing three elderly dogs in the last few years. I now only have Ernie a chihuahua cross i rescued from Kansas in 2017. I've had experience with various breeds and fostered ex racer greyhounds for a while in the U.K. I also have two indoor/outdoor cats I rescued as kittens from local feral cat litters. I finish work for the Summer in June and can offer drop in services up to three times a day for dogs, cats and smaller furries if you live in the local area, Maple Falls etc. These can be whilst you’re at work to give your beloved pet a potty break or they can be for longer stretches of time while you vacation so you can feel secure your dogs are in their own home safe and comfortable. I can also board dogs in my own home from all over Whatcom county if they are dog/cat/responsible kid friendly. I have a fenced in yard and a very dog friendly house! I finish work for the summer in June and have a lot of availability for both walks, drop ins and boarding! From June 12th my schedule really opens up! I have a fenced yard and a dog friendly home. I have two dog friendly cats who are indoor and outdoor and tolerated living with four dogs and two kids. Dogs are allowed on my sofa and bed but only if you allow that at home… I don’t want to create bad habits!
