“Gucci stayed with them for 2 weeks and we had a great experience. Donny & Daisy kept him very happy and comfortable the entire time. We received regular updates, which gave us peace of mind. They also made sure he was well taken care of, including giving him a bath. Really appreciate the care and attention they gave to Gucci!”

“We got to meet Chantel before our booking and got our dog comfortable with her. She was great with our dog and she sent us pictures every day. It was really nice to see our dog while we were away and great to see he was doing well. Thank you Chantal!!”

“Melody is truly the best. Very caring, thoughtful and fun , I can tell by the way my dog just stays calm and when I pick her up she seems relax and well taken care off.”

“Frédérique and Alexandre took great care of Dahli. They really are passionate about what they do and they go above and beyond to make sure your furry companion is having a great time 🥰”

About: I have babysat and fostered many dogs and cats in my home over the years. I socialized some of the cat fosters (feral) so that they can find their forever home. For several years, I volunteered for a non-profit greyhound rescue, from where I adopted two beautiful greyhounds 🥰 I also volunteered at the SPCA Annex where I bathed, walked and socialized dogs (mostly seized due to hoarding or other unsanitary situations). I've had pets since I was a little girl and have always enjoyed being in their company. I have a flexible work schedule and so I can easily walk your dog(s) or do a drop-in mornings, days and evenings or weekends. Give me a chance to prove my commitment to taking care of your pet! I will happily schedule a meet-and-greet with you prior to my first walk or drop-in to meet you and your pet(s) :-) I look forward to hearing from you soon! When walking your dog, I will always keep them on a leash unless he is allowed to run free in a dog park. This will be determined with you beforehand of course. Same thing goes for treats/food as I respect whatever specific diet your dog is on, if any. I will apply same for drop-ins when it comes to food/treats and will respect whatever your environment and "house rules" are, if any, with your pet(s). If it is your cat that requires a drop-in visit, I will make sure to spend time playing and interacting with him/her :-) I will make sure to keep you updated, send you pictures when I walk your dog or do a drop-in visit :-) Your dog's/cat's well being and safety is #1 priority for me! And if your dog or cat enjoys cuddles and kisses, they will not go without, I can assure you of that ;-)
“Manshuk and her famille are lovely and competent pet sitters and pet friends. She took great care of our two darling setters, was very much responsive and kind, and always gracious and patient. We got many great updates and pictures and the dogs were obviously feeling at ease and loved. Obviously this is a true dog loving family with a lovely place to welcome your treasure. I recommand Manshuk warmly.”

Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Ange-Gardien home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favourite hang-out spots in your Ange-Gardien
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they do not have any disqualifying offences.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. On Rover:
- 87% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 87% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 100% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
