Here is how guest dogs fit right into my everyday flow: Morning (7:00 AM – 9:00 AM): Fresh Air & Breakfast Your dog and I kick off the day with an early bathroom break, morning feedings, and a leisurely stroll around the property or an energizing trail walk before I start my workday. Midday (12:00 PM – 1:30 PM): Farm Play & Bathroom Breaks Since I work on site, midday is dedicated to play and outdoor time. Guest dogs get dedicated play sessions on our 2 acres, a mid-day pot break, and a chance to stretch their legs while I do afternoon farm chores. Afternoon (2:00 PM – 5:00 PM): Quiet Workday Companionship During work hours, dogs relax nearby—whether resting in the same room as me or relaxing after their afternoon play. High-energy dogs or puppies get periodic check-ins and quick breaks as needed. Evening (5:30 PM – 8:00 PM): Trail Walks, Dinner & Wind Down Once the workday ends, your dog and I head out for an evening walk along local trails or extended play in the yard. After dinner, guest dogs settle in for feeding time and cozy evening downtime. Night (9:00 PM – 10:00 PM): Final Potty Break & Bedtime A final night-out in the yard ensures everyone is comfortable and settled before heading to sleep in a secure, quiet environment. Because I work on site, I’m around pretty much 24/7 to throw the ball, give belly rubs, and keep everyone happy. Here’s what life looks like for your pup at my place: Constant House Company: No sitting in a crate for 8 hours waiting for someone to get home. Pups hang out right next to my desk while I work, getting routine breaks and endless affection. 2 Acres of Safe, Off-Leash or Long-Line Fun: I have 2 wide-open acres of countryside to explore. Since the property is unfenced, safety is my absolute top priority—guest dogs are kept securely on long lines for sprawling fetch games, or walked on-leash unless you’ve explicitly cleared them for voice-recall off-leash play. Trail Walk Adventures: For dogs with energy to burn, I skip the boring sidewalk trots and head straight out for scenic, leashed trail walks right off the property. Farm-Savvy Supervision: Growing up around dogs and cats means reading animal body language is second nature to me. All outdoor time is 100% supervised and controlled. Your Routine, Maintained: Tailored meals, meds, bedtime quirks—whatever keeps your dog feeling secure, I stick to it. If they love crate sleeping, great! About: My passion for animals began at the age of 7, when I took care of a standard poodle and created agility courses for him, since I couldn’t have pets of my own. Since then, my love for animals has only grown, and today I am a proud parent to several companions. Each animal is unique, and I make sure to provide them with attentive care, as if they were part of my family. Caring for animals is an integral part of my daily routine. Between feeding, playtime, and maintaining a clean and stimulating environment, I care for my pets with love every day. I’m used to balancing active play sessions with quiet, relaxing moments. Having also raised a litter of kittens, I know how to adapt my routine to meet the needs of animals at every stage of their lives. About: Je m’occupe de mes deux bassets à la maison, j’ai eu un élevage pendant deux ans où la femelle basset originaire de la Bretagne m’a fait une très belle portée dont les chiots étaient tous en santé. J’ai gardé le dernier chiot son nom est Rocky il est très gentil. Avec mes deux bassets, nous nous promenons deux fois par jour petite balade du matin et balade de l’après-midi on sort souvent pour des sorties d’une heure, dont le parc à chien où nous aimons vraiment beaucoup socialiser, et se défouler, nous aimons les autres amis, car nous sommes faits pour vivre en meute. Si je me déplace, j’effectue toujours une surveillance d’hygiène, nettoyage des pipis s’il y a lieu et remise en état de la pièce donner la nourriture, puis s’assurer qu’ils ont toujours de l’eau, jouer et aller dehors et faire les soins routine, lavage des oreilles, lavage des dents, lavage du poil, brosser le poil et s’assurer qu ils sont en pleine santé. Cela fait partie de ma routine avec mes deux chiens.

I have 12 years of experience with my own dog and have worked through reactivity, anxiety, fear of noises, and leash pulling using positive reinforcement. I have worked with multiple trainers over the years and have spent a lot of time learning about dog behaviour and psychology, which has shaped how I care for animals today. I pay close attention to body language and subtle cues like freezing, yawning, or disengaging. When a dog seems overwhelmed, I focus on helping them feel safe and settled by creating space, choosing calmer routes or environments, or redirecting them toward something grounding. With shy or nervous dogs, I always let them approach on their own terms and give them the freedom to take breaks or step away when needed. I also believe in balancing physical and mental stimulation. Along with fulfilling walks, I enjoy incorporating enrichment like sniffing games, confidence-building activities, and gentle training. These activities work well for high-energy dogs and can also help more nervous or shy dogs feel comfortable and confident. I have experience caring for large and small dogs, puppies, and senior dogs, as well as administering medication including pills, liquids, topical treatments, and ear drops. I am very comfortable following vet instructions and care routines, and I tend to be very organized and attentive to detail. Above all, I genuinely care about each animal’s wellbeing and individuality. I use patience, positive reinforcement, and observation as the foundation of my care, and I always do my best to make sure every pet feels safe, understood, and cared for. I’m currently a work-from-home professional so I am quite flexible time and space wise. I am available at virtually any time and can readily offer overnight care in your home while you’re away. With a persistent attention to detail, I frequently look out for when an animal is trying to communicate a need, such as them wanting water, to play, to eat, to be pet, etc. I always ensure they have fresh, clean water and that they are fed the appropriate amount and on time. I also like to spend quality time with them giving them belly rubs and and behind-the-ear scratches. I also look out for their safety by keeping things that might be dangerous out of reach as well as checking in on them frequently to make sure they are doing well :)
