“I left my 15+ year old Jack Russell mix for two weeks. He has anxiety issues, as well as other issues that come with old age. I was concerned about leaving him as I had never left him anywhere before. Theresa was wonderful! Blackie thrived in her care! He slept like a rock, ate like a pig, got to play with other dogs and spend lots of time outdoors in the sun! I wouldn’t think of leaving a dog with anyone else! Thank you!”

“Mary was absolutely the best while taking care of our Bentley! She cared for him as if he was her own. She sent daily pictures and videos too. Highly, highly recommend her and will be booking with her again in the future!”

“Barbara took amazing care of my little guy and was great at communicating. I would definitely recommend her if you want your pet to have a nice time while you're away.”

“Sumer was so good with my pup! She also sent me pictures about every other day, which really helped set me at ease. She is super sweet, and I will definitely use her again! 💜”

“Mary is awesome! Our dog was accepted and treated as part of her family! My dog would be anxious and glued to me for a week after being boarded. But after staying 3 days with Mary, she is calm and relaxed as if we never left. I could tell she enjoyed her stay by the pics Mary sent me and her demeanor when I picked her up. We will definitely be using Mary every time if she is available!”

“Tanya was a godsend when it came to watching Butters our Border Collie puppy after a few surgeries leaving us unable to give him the best care. Our original sitter fell through and Tanya was able to squeeze in a meet and greet to make sure it all worked out for us. She provided updates and pictures that made me feel so much better about leaving him for a week. Tanya and her family truly took care of Butters as if he was their own family pet. She will be my go to in the event of needing boarding again and I can’t thank her enough for the care she gave our pup in our absence. She washed his blanket and sweater before sending him home and even made the cutest ornament of him for our tree. The little touches really make a difference. ❤️❤️❤️❤️”

“Julia did a wonderful job caring for my two cats for five days. She’s very knowledgeable about cat behavior and kept me updated with messages and pictures, which gave me great peace of mind. She was also kind, flexible, and easy to communicate with. I would definitely book her again!”

“As always, Lauren did a wonderful job of watching our Paisley. She is so conscientious and stays in communication while we are gone. Highly recommend! Her daughter is a great help too!”

“Samantha was the best sitter I could ask for with my fur baby Blue . This was my first time leaving him away from home and I felt comfortable that he was in great hands . She is very patient and took care of my Blue as if he was her own. She gave my pup plenty of playtime and sent me so many adorable pictures of him. Would definitely recommend her.”

“Thomas & Emily are the best pet sitters ever. The love & attention given to Abbey was exceptional. Abbey loved playing with Monster & she was treated like their own which made it so much easier to be away. We loved the updates, photos & video. Meds were also given morning & night. We highly recommend Thomas & Emily. We will definitely use them again. Thank you both so much.”

“Jonna took AMAZING care of our Blaike. Her and her family were gentle, attentive, caring, loving, and kind to her. They helped ease her anxiety, made sure she was always comfortable and secure, and gave her so much love, rubs, and affection. They truly treated her like a member of the family. We will absolutely be utilizing her Boarding services for our next trip, and wholeheartedly recommend her to anyone needing a sitter. Thank you so much Jonna!!😊❤️❤️❤️”

About: I’ve been taking care of neighbors pets for 10 years! Neighbors have relied on me to feed their pets, bathe them, walk them and play with them!!! I have a baby and my schedule is completely open! Any days of the week! Whatever works best for you, i will work with to make sure you are happy and comfortable!!! I have a back door that leads to a field that i can take your pets out on! And maybe throw a toy and ball around!!!
“Madison did such a great job with Cooper! His excitement, new environment jitters and eating too fast caused him to vomit the first couple of days. Madison handled it like a pro, she seeked guidance from the vet who confirmed what seemed to be happening. She adjusted his food intake to help him keep food down and made some other changes which fixed the problem! Goose, their dog, was a wonderful big brother to Cooper and they all gave him love like he was their own. Cooper was taken on lovely walks on trails and to the dog park and Goose also shared his antlers with Coop which is now his favorite thing to chew! We were very happy with the care given to our crazy little kid and Madison went over and beyond!”

“Dana and her family are wonderful! Have been using her for a few years now. She is very genuine and shows my dog love, and my dog(s) love(d) her! Very good communication including updates and photos during their stay, has been flexible and supportive when needed. My dog and I trust Dana and very much appreciate her loving care for the animals.”

“Angelina took such good care of my Humphrey. I will be using her very special service again. I received so many pictures and videos of Humphrey on walks and relaxing on the couch. It did my heart good to see him comfortable and safe. I will always be grateful for the care and love he received.”

About: I have had animals my whole life. This past May, I was lucky enough to retire from 33+ years of teaching. Since 2022, I have volunteered at Tails Animal Shelter walking dogs. Last year, we had to say goodbye to our 16 year old dog, and I miss having animals in the house. While I am not ready to get a new dog, I am very excited to take care of other's dogs like they were my own. Whether it is your pet coming to our house or me going to your home, I cannot wait to keep your furry friend company. Communication is a key issue for me. I worried about my dog all the time. I find a way to alleviate that is to send pictures often. Because I am retired, I would be able to be with pets most of the day. I would let them out every couple of hours - more if needed. I can follow any schedule for feeding. I am really flexible and would be able to accommodate most schedules. I would make sure to keep a close eye on your dog while we were hanging out together. Dogs are definitely allowed on furniture (unless you prefer they not be). I can put a dog in a crate if that is comfortable for them as well. Our yard is not fenced, but it is a large yard in the woods. I can also take dogs for walk around our neighborhood or to the riverwalk in downtown Dixon. We also have a property about 15 miles south of Dixon with 80 acres and a pond, so a trip there could be fun as well.
“Duke had a great time with Chris, Dan and their pups! Would definitely recommend and would schedule with them again while we are visiting my parents in Illinois.”
