“We were heartbroken when our normal sitter we found on here moved away! We tried a few others on here and none loved them like Jessica did… until now! I felt completely at ease as soon as we walked in and Lucy made herself right at home. Alexa has kept me updated the whole time and loved her like she was her own. She has become our new favorite dog person!”

“Alyson took great care of our two dogs. She noticed a small bump on my dogs paw that we recently had checked out. It showed her level of care. They we happy and healthy when we picked them up as it looked like they enjoyed their stay as she works from home while also looking after her young son.”

“Can’t recommend Hannah enough! She has been SO great to work with, has the best yard for playing, sent lots of pictures/updates, and our dog loves the whole family! We’re so happy to have found her, and are looking forward to more stays in the future!”

“You will be very impressed with Erica. My Huckleberry Finn adores her! She will send you pictures and updates the whole time she has your fur baby. Also she takes them for walks and play time”
“Carly is a wonderful sitter. She sent us photos and updates throughout the stay. Our dog received special attention, care and love. We couldn't be more pleased with our experience and plan to have our dog stay with Carly whenever we travel.”

“Mikayla & Skyler we’re absolutely great with my Sheltie, North! I could tell from the time of drop-off to the pickup that they loved dogs and North got adjusted and settled right away. I received daily updates while I was away and was never concerned for a minute because North was in very good hands. I will definitely rebook with them for all my dog sitting needs!”

“Jennifer was wonderful about sending photos and keeping us informed! She provided a safe and fun atmosphere for Boo to play. We loved seeing her children playing with him and holding him. He’s a very affectionate dog and I could relax knowing he was getting the attention he loves.”

“Amanda did a wonderful job! Very friendly. Took great care of our two dogs. And provided an update every day we were gone, sometimes including photos. Will definitely use her again.”

“Lorna was very sweet and understanding with my 16 year miniature schnauzer. She kept me updated on how he was doing every day of his stay which I really appreciated! I would definitely recommend her as a dog sitter. I will definitely use her again!”

“Our puppy had a great time playing and running in Carlos’s large backyard with the other dogs she was watching. She had a wonderful 3 night stay and Carola send lots of pictures and videos to keep us updated! We can’t thank her enough!”

“Sheryl was able to keep our Cane Corso very happy for several days while we attended a funeral out of town. She came to meet him prior to his visit to her house and got to know him. She was totally used to dogs and expected his “I don’t know my own size” puppy attitude. She made it all very easy and updated with lots of pictures and communication to ease our minds about being away from him. I will definitely be using her for all of my dog boarding need from now on!!”

“Thom was the absolute BEST dog sitter I have ever had. And I have been using rover for years! He sent me frequent pictures, videos, and updates of my girl while she was there. He took amazing care of her and handled her high energy so well! He is extremely knowledgeable about dogs and so kind. I have never felt more comfortable leaving my girl with a new sitter. I recommend him to everyone!”

About: I’ve had dogs in the home since I was a small child and host small dogs (under 20 pounds) in my home. I'm new to booking through Rover, but can supply references, if requested. I’m excited to open my door (and heart) to your pup for day visits or overnights. I have one super tough 6 pound Shihtzu-Chihuahua in the house so your pups must be friendly with other dogs. I also have experience with puppies and caring for senior dogs. I work from home so I'm at home all day and night during the week. On weekends, I'm never gone for more than 3- 4 hours at any one time. Most of the time, I'm home with the fur babies. I have a house with ample room to welcome up to 2 dogs (same owner) at a time. I have a fenced back yard area allowing for exercise and free roaming. I never leave pets outdoors unattended. Dog's will normally sleep in my bed with me, but totally fine if they prefer their own bed in my room.
“Natalie and her family provided an excellent environment for my dog. He was comfortable from the beginning and I felt good about him staying while I was away. Natalie provided daily updates and pictures which I appreciated. I plan on using Natalie agian and recommend her services.”

“Love that we have someone we can trust with our fur baby! Cassandra is so good with our Pepper who is always so excited to see her. Cassandra was even great about being flexible with time for us. 💯 recommend her!”

About: I have been an animal lover since I was a little boy. I have had multiple dogs, cats, rabbits, fish, hamsters, and bearded dragons. Friends and relatives have relied on me and continue to rely on me to feed, look after and play with their pets when they are away. I will love your pets as my own while in my care. I have many years of experience in potty training puppies, crate training dogs of all ages, custom building dog houses for my own pets, Caring for puppies and kittens all the way up through senior years. If you book with me, you can be assured and rest easy with updates about your babies throughout the day. I will also send pictures to ease you mind. I'm always available for a meet and greet session before booking. We can discuss any special needs, requirements or anything else that you or I need to know about your pet during that time while I get to know you and your pet. I am usually available for boarding any time and any day of the week. I prefer drop off and pickups to be scheduled in afternoons after 5pm or anytime on the weekends. I am available for doggy day care most weekends (Saturday & Sunday). I am available for dog walks on most weekday afternoons after 6pm M-F and anytime on the weekends. I will certainly work with you on your scheduling needs! I have a big fenced in back yard and a big play room ready to entertain your pets. I have ring camera security around my home. I can provide a crate for them to sleep in if needed. Your pets will be safe and looked after with love and affection their whole stay! By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
