Über: Ich habe mein ganzes Leben lang mit mittelgroßen bis großen Hunden zusammengelebt. Oft nehme ich sie auf Ausflüge und Bergwanderungen mit. Ich spiele und renne lieber mit ihnen, als einfach nur Zeit zu Hause zu verbringen. Ich lerne derzeit Deutsch und suche Arbeit. Daher bin ich recht flexibel und habe – abgesehen vom Vormittag zwischen 8 und 12 Uhr – den Großteil des Tages Zeit. Normalerweise spiele ich mit ihnen und versuche, sie zur Bewegung zu animieren, aber ich achte auch sehr genau auf die festgelegten Grenzen. Meistens schaffe ich einen Bereich, der speziell für sie gedacht ist.

Über: My name is Vincent; I am 23 years old and grew up around animals. I have been around dogs (Dobermans) and cats (Ragdolls, Siamese, and mixed breeds) since I was very young. I love all kinds of animals and always adapt to the specific needs of the animal I am with—whether they are super playful, laid-back, or very active. It is especially important to me that the animal remains the top priority and feels comfortable while I am looking after them. I enjoy doing a lot of sports myself—from running to other activities—so I make a great endurance partner, especially for active (young) dogs. Über: l am a cat lover, but I truly love all animals. I have had pets since I was six years old and I have been taking care of them ever since, l am very responsible with their food, water, veterinary visits and treatments. I really enjoy their company. I started taking care of my neighbors' pets when I was fourteen during summer breaks and when friends and family go on vacation. Here in Vienna, where I have been living for six months, I took care of two lovely cats - a black one and an orange and white one that you can see in my photos - for two months, living in their apartment while their owner was away. Those were my best months in Vienna so far because I truly need animals in my life, they make me feel very good. I love to play with them, pet them, talk to them, feed them and give them treats. Animals usually follow me and I think they enjoy my company as much as I enjoy theirs. I am Chilean and I miss my own pets in Chile so much - Cosmo, my cat, and Ewok, my dog - so being around animals here means a lot to me. For me this is a job and I take it seriously, but it is also about love and companionship. I am currently working during the afternoons, so I am available at nights and mornings until 15:00. Tuesdays, fridays and Saturdays I am usually free all day. I can spend long periods of time with pets. I provide pet sitting in the client's home to keep pets comfortable in their own safe environment. I follow the owner's instructions exactly for feeding, water, medication, walks and litter box cleaning. I keep the home clean, secure and l respect the pet's routine, giving them lots of playtime, cuddles and company so they don't feel lonely. I send daily photo and video updates to the owner. I do not host pets in my own apartment, because I want to offer a calm and safe service in the pet's familiar home. I am very responsible, attentive and I treat every home and pet with great respect and care.

Vor allem unter der Woche habe ich daher auch oft Abends Zeit! In meiner 2-Zimmer Wohnung im 5. Stock (mit Aufzug) ist reichlich Platz für 1-2 Katzen oder auch einen Hund. Nachdem ich derzeit keine Haustiere besitze, kann ich meine Aufmerksamkeit voll und ganz deinem Mausi widmen! Falls erwünscht, schicke ich dir auch gerne regelmäßig Updates und Fotos:) Um den Aufenthalt bei mir so stressfrei wie möglich zu gestalten, würde ich dich bitten, gewohntes Spielzeug, Bettchen, Leine, Geschirr, und Halsband mitzubringen. In meiner Wohnung achte ich sehr darauf, dass keine gefährlichen Gegenstände oder Lebensmittel in Reichweite deines Lieblings liegen. Ich halte mich außerdem strikt an die von uns besprochenen Fütterungszeiten und Routinen, damit sich mein vierbeiniger Gast bei mir so wohl wie möglich fühlt:) Ich wohne in unmittelbarer Nähe des Augartens, des Praters, und der Gstettn im Nordbahnviertel - genug Auslaufmöglichkeiten gibt es also auf alle Fälle. Beim Gassigehen bleibt dein Hund grundsätzlich an der Leine. Ich vermeide unübersichtliche Situationen oder unbekannte Freilaufzonen, außer wir haben vorher etwas anderes besprochen! Über: Seit meiner Kindheit habe ich mit Haustieren zusammengelebt. Zuerst mit Katzen, später auch mit einigen weiteren Katzen und Hunden. Dabei habe ich Tiere jeden Alters kennengelernt, von sehr jungen bis zu älteren Tieren. Ich gehe ruhig, aufmerksam und respektvoll mit ihnen um und passe mich an ihre individuellen Bedürfnisse und ihren Charakter an. Ich achte darauf, eine vertraute und stressfreie Umgebung zu schaffen, in der sich die Tiere entspannen können. Wenn ich im Zuhause der Besitzer betreue, halte ich mich genau an die Anweisungen und Routinen, damit für die Tiere alles möglichst vertraut bleibt.
