Because of this, they arranged a play date with another person they knew who had a puppy, so our dog got some great play time! They also provided brush service (which she really needed). She was tired and happy when we picked her up. We will be back!”

I have worked with the SanTan Animal rescue, the Little Traverse Bay Humane society and friends and family over the years; walking training and helping with adoptions and am using my experience and education to give the best to your pet. I'm a modified traditional and clicker trainer. I will be working with your pet as well as you if you're interested in learning my methods. I strive to go the extra mile every visit with you and your pet. During my training I will leave my tips and tricks for you. I'm the trainer and instructor you've been looking for because of the burning passion I have to impact the dog owning community. Every dog deserves to have full attention. Basic obedience is carefully implemented with every single interaction with every single dog. I have 3 dog myself. 2 service dogs and 1 puppy. I train every dog out of natural behaviors of my own. I respect every dog and every owner and their needs. I spend my days studying and writing training programs to fine tune my own approach in this ever growing world of man's best friend and the relationship with their owners. I'm open to taking care of many varieties of animals in the case you have more. I grew up on a farm for a large portion of my life and have always been amazed by the loving relationship with not only dog and human, but with any animal, big or small. Every visit is catered to training and maintaining good manners. My ultimate goal is to bring skills equivalent to a "Good Citizen" level of training even if we don't get much time I work to set steady foundations for success. Walks will not just be a easy breezy pull me around or softly walk through the neighborhood. We work on getting the dog tired and stimulated for maximum happiness of your pet. Dogs love figuring out challenges that help their comprehension of training grow and enhance the relationship between pet and handler. Seeing your dog improve on skills bring my heart so much joy sometimes I could just scream with excitement. Drop ins work pretty much the same, walking and doing house exercises to stimulate their brain and exhaust their energy in productive ways. I'll always leave tips tricks and techniques I may have used. In my home I train all day every day as I do my own dogs. Keeping their gears turning and growing their trust in me is highest of priority. My home is sectioned off into 3 parts in the case some dogs may not get along and need to be desensitized. There are 2 trainers in the home to assist with any training desensitization or other special needs your pet may have. And to take training to a comfortable but challenging level to expand that training. I always keep reflective gear and dog first aid kits on me while working with your pet. SAFETY FIRST! I love walking and playing with all kinds of dogs cats you name it. I have reactive dog experience and know how to handle them on leash. I have been a professional dog trainer for the last 3 years and can easily read dog body language! I also have experience with walking multiple dogs at once! I hope to meet you and your pet(s)! Safety is always number one priority when with someone else’s baby! I would always make sure to be respectful in others homes. Following all rules and guidelines. Always double checking equipment is safe/sturdy/hooked up correctly when heading out for a walk. Scanning and being aware of the environment when out walking to ensure dogs safety. Making sure the dog isn’t eating anything unwanted off the ground. Carrying a pet corrector(air canister) to keep away other unwanted animals/dogs if necessary. In my multi dog household we are strict crate users. We feed in them to keep meal times safe as well as nap times, and sleeping overnight when necessary! The dogs would NEVER spend all of their time there. But they are important tools to keeping boarding guests safe!
