“Lainie is a GEM!! I could not recommend her enough for drop by cat-sitting. She took EXCELLENT care of my cat Babs on short notice, and even helped clean up after Babs’ mischief (the cat loves to unspool ALL the toilet paper and Lainie rolled it back up so my house didn’t look like a pit of TP confetti when I got back). It is clear that Lainie not only loves animals but can take care of them exactly like you would were you home. I’m so happy that Lainie was able to watch Babs and I will go to her first for any trips I may take in the future— again, I cannot recommend that everyone else with a cat ALSO do this. Babs loved Lainie so much AND Babs can be a little queen sometimes! She’s choosy and sometimes sassy lol— if Lainie and Babs are besties after a weekend, your cat will love her too! CANNOT RECOMMEND ENOUGH!”

Her first pet, at the age of 5, was a very sickly but incredibly sweet little beagle, Nellie, who she loved undeniably and helped to care for until Nellie's passing 9 years later. Haley then began fostering dogs, 17 in one year alone, and house/pet sitting for the cats and dogs of dozens of people over the course of several years in Maryland and Montana. Haley even adopted a fish when she was in college since she couldn't have a dog or cat. Her love of and respect for animals led her 5 years ago to adhere to a plant-based diet. I can't think of anyone more responsible or hard working to whom I would entrust the care of my dog-- and the keys to my apartment. “I asked Hannah to watch my shepherd mix, Frankie, while I was out of town. He requires quite a bit of daily exercise even at 6 years old. She made sure he got either a good long walk/ hike in or several shorter ones each day. She was also active with him by playing and just genuinely giving him her love and attention. This makes Frankie a very happy, tired, and well-behaved dog. Frankie is very vocal and he gleefully whines and wags his tail whenever we see Hannah.”
