“I cannot say enough about Paula. We were traveling from out of state and Paula was so flexible with the time of pick up and drop off. I felt a good energy from her messages, home, and little pup right away. We have had our fair share of lousy dog sitters and this is the first time i have felt inclined to write a review. “Kim was great with our little girl Golden Retriever, Lexie. Kim and her boyfriend played ball with her and took her for a walk. Lexie also got to play with two Golden puppies. The fenced in backyard was wonderful for her to burn off that extra energy. Kim sent many pictures to let us know that Lexie was eating well and playing with the others. This was only a two day, one night stay but Kim and her boyfriend went out of their way to make sure Lexie was happy and that we were informed so we would not worry. It was a great experience.”

“They were absolutely wonderful and super nice. They took Reggie on short notice but gave him all sorts of love and cuddles. Their dogs upon first meeting did not react negatively with our dog and was not territorial at all. We got text notifications from them and they sent photos before bed to let us know how he’s doing. We felt super comfortable leaving our pup with them. If I lived in the Roanoke area they would absolutely be my number one choice every time! I cannot express how grateful I am for them.”

This was our first time using Rover and everything went so smoothly, right from our first exchange of messages. Katie was very understanding about Leo's needs (he's a rescue and still shy around people), and he got along well with her four dogs. It was nice to know that he was in good hands and had lots of play time. And I so appreciated getting pictures and updates while we were away!”

About: I have 2 dogs. One is a senior Shih Tzu and one is a one year old mix. They both get along well with dogs and cats. I have had dogs my whole life and will treat yours as my own.. I work remotely and I'm home most all day. I have 3 kids who also love dogs and cats. I have a fenced in back yard with lots of room to run and play. My dogs love meeting and playing with new friends! I will care for your pet as if they were my own. I am highly attentive, and your pet will have a great time and love being in my care.

“I was very excited when I booked Janis & Justin to watch my dogs because I knew they have experience with senior dogs like mine. My dogs were welcomed right into the family either snuggling/snoozing on the sofa watching TV with the kids or just perched up in someone's lap. They were so compassionate in caring for my 13 & 14 year old pups who can be challenging sometimes. Frankie is on a bunch of medications and Penny is going deaf (she's also a bit of a trickster), but there were no issues. : ) They have a great fenced in backyard with plenty of room for doggos to explore. Janis sent me frequent updates with photos of the dogs and did not hesitate to ask if any questions came up during the stay. I left them feeling confident that my babies would be given all the attention they need with Janis, Justin & their children. I will definitely have them watch my pups again in the future!”
