She is typically scared of men and warmed up to him so quickly and looked forward to her daily walks with Lee while we were away:) His communication and professionalism were amazing and he also gave us the cutest card with photos of our dog he snapped during walks upon our return. Would highly recommend and will definitely re-book!! :):)”

8. Kirstin H.
About: Hello my name is Kirstin. I currently live in Lincoln NE. I have always loved animals no matter the species. I currently work at a veterinarian office, as a kennel attendant and receptionist, so I'm not afraid of giving medication. I love to learn about new animals and any fun facts about them. I am also able and comfortable to give medication. I currently volunteer at what is called The Cat House. So I love caring for animals. I have been pet sitting for around 4 years for cats and dogs, but I'm willing to learn what it takes for other animals. I am comfortable with small and large animals and even ones that might be aggressive. I know that if an animal attacks me there was probably something I did to agitate them it usually is never the animal's fault. I currently work part-time, anywhere from 1:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. weekdays, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. all week, or 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Saturdays. All of this does depend on my part-time scheduling. If you have any questions on how I will care for your pet, don't hesitate to shoot me a question. I usually watch the dogs when I let them out into the yard unless the owner has stated otherwise. I carefully measure out the food given. Depending on the weather and usually will wipe dogs paws when they come inside. For any pets that require it, I always make sure to play with them to get physical energy out and to give them mental stimulation.
9. Megan P.
“Megan LOVES dogs. When she comes to our house, our pup Murphy, gets so excited to see her. I have complete trust In Megan with our pup. She cares for him the same way we would. Megan has never been anything less then responsible, genuine, kind and loving.”
10. Randy M.
“I have two 100lb dogs and a temperamental cat. Randy has pet/house sat for us numerous times for up to weeks at a time. We can be pretty particular about them, especially when we had dietary restrictions and a bunch of medications to navigate. Randy follows our intensive instructions explicitly and as he likes to remind us, he is now their third favorite human:) We would recommend Randy to anyone looking for a pet sitter!”
11. Jamie S.
About: I have had a pet in my life ever since I was born and I have had a myriad of pets over the course of my life. My pets have included dogs, cats, rodents of all kinds, birds, fish, and reptiles. I have worked and cared for the animals at the Capital Humane Society, Petco (I was also a dog trainer), and Pioneers Park Nature Center. I currently have a house full of dogs of my own and frequently dog sit my grandpuppies whenever my daughter and son-in-law need me to do so. I have also recently taken an interest in dog grooming, but I am still learning. Currently I am a stay-at-home-mom and all of my kiddos are in school full time, so my schedule is fairly flexible. The only parts of my schedule not flexible are school drop-off and pick up. Occasionally I have to help care for my 94-yo grandmother when my aunt is unavailable to do so, but that is not often. I care for pets in the manner requested by their owners, but I also like to spend time with each animal and make a connection with them. Getting to know a pet's personality helps me provide the best care outside of the basics. I am always happy to take pictures and/or video as requested by the owners as well.
12. Josie P.
“Josie is great! She’s walked my dog a couple times and works with my dog and his commands, and does a good job informing you how he did on the walk! And my dog loves her, I look forward to keep working with her.”
13. Riley G.
“Riley has a calm personality. She was raised with pets at home and most of her friends and family as well. Riley knows and uses sign language daily which would help in pet care. My own dog becoming hard of hearing relys on hand signals. Riley's long term goal is working with and teaching special needs children. She has worked day care for very young children. She is kind and gentle with children and pets. If pets have special schedules or needs Riley would have no problem taking good care of them.”
14. Cherie & Tim M.
“Tim has cared for our dog on several occasion, sometimes for a week at time. He provides excellent care, treats our dog like he is his own, and make sure our dog gets much needed exercise. I would recommend Tim to anyone looking for reliable and nurturing care!”
15. Baylie L.
About: I have two dogs back home who mean the world to me. My favorite thing to do back home is to go on walks or play in the backyard with my puppies. I have helped neighbors and friends with dog sitting and walking since I was in middle school. I work part time and mostly work weekday evenings and late mornings on the weekend. Rover is a fun side job for me to do during my extra time. I have a car that can easily get me to the home to take dogs on walks around the neighborhood or I am able to drive them to a park to take a walk there as well.
