About: Hi! My name is Alexis, I am 27 years old, and I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up I helped my dad with training his rabbit dogs and attending to their needs while he was at work or etc. I am born and raised in Amherst, VA. I own my own townhouse in Madison Heights. Although, the area is not fenced in there is a nice big yard for your fur-baby to get plenty of exercise and exposure to the sun and fresh air!! There is sidewalks in the neighborhood that makes it easy for taking walks. I am here to care for your fur-baby as you would. I will pet, feed, walk, play, brush attend to your fur-baby's needs. You and your fur-baby will be happy with my services. I do work 40 hours a week from home which allows me to have more time at home to attend to your fur-baby. Your dog/cat will be able to roam freely in the house unless otherwise requested. I do not work weekends, so my schedule is very open and flexible. I can easily crate your dog as needed. All dogs are walked on leashes when we go for walks. I respect your wishes in my home and your home.

“Jané did a wonderful job looking after our Australian Shepherd. She was a great communicator and sent multiple doggie updates a day including photographs. Her house has a big backyard that's fully fenced in so there's plenty of room for dogs to run safely. She also took our dog on multiple walks a day. You can tell Jané sincerely cares about animals and she's great at caring for them. I look forward to boarding with her again!”

“Amanda was such an awesome dog boarder. She really eased our stress about using rover for the first time. Not only did she communicate quickly and updated us on how our dogs were doing with details and pictures, we really felt our dogs received the love and exercise they needed. She was also very flexible and adaptable to our needs and schedule, even when we had to push our pickup time later due to travel issues. Amanda made us feel comfortable about being able to administer eye drops if our dog had a flare up of her eye issue as well as being capable and able to handle our other dog who likes to escape. Our expectations were truly exceeded and we think we made a perfect choice. We will absolutely be using her again in the future to take care of our dogs.”

Joleen went above and beyond to ensure that my high-energy Labrador, Bo, had a fantastic stay, even when I had to seek help last minute for an unexpected trip during the Fourth of July holiday. Joleen's thoughtful provision of these amenities added an extra level of fun and excitement to Bo's time with her. She took the time to play fetch with Bo, which happens to be his favorite game. The joy and enthusiasm brought to playtime made it clear that she genuinely cared about providing a fun and engaging experience. Joleen is an exceptional dog sitter who goes above and beyond to provide a wonderful experience for myself and Bo. “Our 2 dogs enjoyed their time with Maggie and her husband and their dog, and came back very happy. Their home was clean and uncluttered with plenty of room for the crates. We loved their apt complex which felt safe and attractive with no trouble parking. They took such great care of them, and we were able to enjoy our overnight stay without worries. Both of them were very cheerful and even helped us with our stuff up the stairs. We have used a number of Rover sitters over the past 5 years, but they were the best! We will definitely book with them again if they will have us back. :)”
