About: I have had a variety of pets through my life. Two dogs, a few cats, chickens etc. I have fed people's pets while on vacation💜 I love being with animals ❤️ I drive Uber and work at a gym part time. My schedule is really open and flexible. I can work late in the evening until 10 pm. I have a small fenced in backyard and 3 children then I share 50/50 custody with. They would be great with any pet that's here.

About: I’ve only taken care of pets for family and friends up until now but looking forward to expanding my experience and count on your input as to how you want your pet cared for because I think all pets and owners have different needs. I am a mom of 5, 4 are grown adults now and a 15 year old still in school. I currently work 1 night a week with adults with disabilities and I babysit my granddaughter 2 days a week. I also volunteer as a youth leader for high school youth group on Monday nights at my church. I have plenty of spare time to help others with their fur babies and look forward to the flexibility it gives me. I am CPR/First Aid trained and have all my clearances. I had my own cleaning business for 20yrs and took care of clients dogs while I was in their homes. I have 2 dogs of my own, an 11yr Yorky-poo and a 1yr Cava-poo. Named Toby and Sadie 🥰 We call Toby our grouchy old man 🤣 and Sadie is spunky and would lick you to death if you let her!🤣 I’ll enjoy getting to know your pet’s personality as we spend time together! “Our Deuce was rescued from an abusive situation nearly two years ago. He has learned to trust our family members, but can be very leery of others. I work from home and Deuce has grown accustomed to my presence and is comforted by it; he has a fair amount of anxiety when I am not around. We recently found the need to travel to the Lancaster area for an event. We did not have a good option at home for the three days/two nights we would be gone as Deuce’s normal sitters (family) would also be attending the event in Lancaster. So, I scoured Rover.com for sitters in the Lancaster area that I felt Deuce might feel the most comfortable with for the 8 hours this past Sunday that we would need someone to watch him. After reading bio after bio, review after review, looking at photo after photo, I found one sitter - Susan - that I thought, “if I am going to be comfortable leaving Deuce with anyone, it is going to be this lady.” Well, let me tell you, Susan did not disappoint! Everything about our first introductions, communications, etc., made me comfortable with our choice, and most importantly, Deuce was comfortable with Susan too - I could tell from the various photos and messages she sent throughout the day. Deuce even hopped up on the couch and sat next to Susan - he only does that with immediate family members. She worked with all of his quirks, and let Deuce be Deuce all the while helping him to feel as safe and comfortable as possible. My only disappointment is that Susan does not live near our home town :D - but we for sure know who we will be contacting for sitting services should we find ourselves in the Lancaster area again!”
