About: I have over a decade of experience with small to large dogs, which includes raising two litters of puppies, potty-training, special diets, limited mobility, elderly animals, medical accommodations (eye drops, pills/other oral meds, etc.), and everything else involved with basic animal care. I also have experience with rescues and pregnant animals. Growing up as an only child, I've always had a special bond with animals and love taking care of any & all fur babies! I'm currently available throughout the week while working on LSAT prep and applying to jobs, so I'll be a perfect match to provide pet care throughout the day and evening. I can also provide client updates, respond promptly, and be flexible if anything comes up! I have a 0.5 acre, partially-shaded yard with a gated deck, lots of toys and blankets, safety fences, and one small, older female dog who can keep them company or be sectioned off so your pet can have maximum privacy. It's a two-story home with a finished basement and my nearly-retired mom and step-dad, so it's a quiet environment with room to roam. We also have a variety of trails and parks nearby. I'll always provide updates and ensure that your wishes are top priority!
9. Melissa F.

About: I am comfortable with all forms of cat care. I have been around cats all my life, volunteered for community TNR programs, and am currently owned by two fluffy felines named Gohan and Melody. One of my cats is special needs (ataxia) so I am familiar with medications, grooming, clean ups, and other needs for special kitties. I also have a young, high energy border collie mix who loves toys and daily walks. He typically does well with other dogs and puppies, especially ones that can run faster than him! He is also great around cats. I work from home full-time. My schedule is very flexible. I spend all day every day with my pets. I play with my dog throughout the day (he is a big fan of hallway fetch) and walk him every day for 30 minutes to an hour. He goes on potty breaks whenever he wants. I live in a quiet neighborhood and my vet is less than a mile away. For drop-ins: GENERAL: I will spend time doing whatever makes your animal comfortable. If that means pets, play, snuggles, or glaring at me from under a bed, then that’s fine with me. I am happy to send updates and/or pictures. GROOMING: I do not provide bathing or grooming services but am happy to brush your cat or dog for free, just let me know! MEDS: I am comfortable giving medications (oral, topical, otic, etc I do them all). WALKS: I am happy to walk your dog if it is sufficiently leash trained! I like to play Pokémon GO while I walk dogs. If your dog needs a long walk I can do that before 9 or after 5. PLANTS: I will water your plants (for free ofc) if you ask. OTHER PETS: Wish this app had a setting for pets besides of cats and dogs! I am a biologist so am comfortable caring for pretty much all small “exotics” (e.g., rodents, reptiles, fish, birds). Except for bugs. Like, I’ll feed your lizard a cricket or grub but I won’t go anywhere near your tarantula (sorry—I do deeply respect bugs, just from a distance). Just message me if you want care for an exotic pet and we can discuss. For boarding, see below: HOUSE: I have a very small fenced in backyard for potty breaks. There is a paved walking trail behind my house for walks. The house has three floors accessible by stairs and lots of space. I have two cats and one dog: CATS: My cats prefer to free roam the house but all their stuff (i.e., litter box, food) is on the ground floor and I can keep them separated with a door and a baby gate. They are shy and take a long time to adjust to new animals, so overnight guests will not have access to the ground floor where the cats are. I have an extra litter box so don’t worry about bringing one unless you want to. If your cat is anxious I have a whole guest room they can have to themselves during their stay. DOGS: My dog is cat and dog friendly. He is 3 years old and is neutered. He is a very high energy dog and likes to play with toys. If the dogs do not get along, I have baby gates and several extra rooms to keep them separate. My dog does not use a crate but I have space for one if needed. I have tons of toys and treats here, but consider sending your dog with their favorite toys :) NOTE: If your dog is extremely cat aggressive it is best to consider another sitter. I typically do not have issues keeping the cats separated, but my house is filled with cat scent and that can be overwhelming for some dogs.

About: I love playing with dogs and have a great playful dog myself that will also enjoy playing with your dog during the day for doggie daycare. I love going for walks with dogs and my kids. My kids love playing with dogs also. I'm very flexible with dog walks or having dogs in my house for the day or night. I live in a condo building, so no yard for running but go on plenty of walks during the day. And my dog, which is a shizhu poodle, would love to have some friends to run and play with. He is use to being around labs and can handle his own. Very friendly. We are a dog loving family, and are very flexible with schedules.
