About: Hi!! I graduated from Veterinary Technician school about a year ago and am currently working on applying to vet school. Through school, I’ve also done clinical rotations through MedVet and LSU vet school. I currently work full time at a vet clinic in Houma and have been here for 3 years now. I’m willing to take puppies-seniors and of course, kitties and am extremely comfortable with giving medications, insulin, fluids and any extended needs. I’ve known I wanted to become a veterinarian since I was 5 years old and couldn’t see myself in any other field! I am currently working full time but can absolutely check on your pet before and after work. I work 8-5 Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays and 8-12 on Thursdays and Saturdays. I currently live in an home with my Golden Retriever, Silo, Golden mix, Link and two cats, Fish and Octavio. This being said, I would rather do in home visits but could possibly board over the weekend. Silo is a huge sweetheart, who is shy but ever loving to anyone he meets and Link loves to have friends over. I would also require vaccine records for boarding.
11. Brigette S.
“Brigette was awesome with our dog when we borded her there. She sent me pics of Jen Jen while we were away and also sent text to let us know how she was doing. Jen Jen was treated so good while she was there. We will Def be using her again. Thanks Brigette for everything.”

About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life. I have worked in a veterinary for 13 years and have earned my AAS in veterinary technology. I have passed my boards so I am a registered veterinary technician; although I’m currently relicensing due to requirements vs. Ida. I have a multitude of certifications in academic, medical and pet care, with a focus on emergency, clinical, and behavioral, earned from the leaders in research and education in the veterinary field. I am available almost anytime. I am willing to take on special needs and concerns. I promise to make your fur baby as comfortable as I would my own. I will make sure there is playtime and that they stay clean; I will also do light housework, garbage days, laundry, mail etc as needed. I don’t mind running to the store to restock for your return! I have extensive personal shopping/assistant experience as well. I can stop in as often as you need and I don’t mind staying for a while so they aren’t lonely! Currently, I own three cats, as my canine companions passed right after Ida; they were a German Shepard and a rat terrier. I am familiar with almost any animal type. I promise that I have yet to come across a situation with an animal that makes me uncomfortable and I’ll do anything to make sure that both you and your baby have one of the best experiences. I am trained in almost any medical situation but will definitely get your baby to your preferred veterinarian for anything beyond basic or manageable care. I’m available almost at any time of the week. If I do have something going on, I will do my best to work around in order to meet you and your fur babys need. Hurricane ida took away our fence so I can’t host in my own home but I will consider on a pet by pet basis (I do have cats inside and a small fenced area in backyard. Walks are not an issue). I am fully trained in all aspects of care, from neonates to geriatric. I am willing to take on and make sure your furbaby(s) are completely taken care of. I have experience with all medication types, Injectables, fluid administration, special feedings and schedules.

14. Debra G.
“Debra is an amazing pet lover. There is no one I know that cares more about her pets. Every time she leaves the house she makes sure they are safe and as good as possible. She never forgets to kiss them goodbye or goodnight. It’s just natural for her and she was made to be a great pet mom”

About: I’ve had many dogs while living at home from cats and dogs to fish and chameleons, lol. I love my all of my animals. I have cared for multiple of my family members, friends, and neighbors pets and I would love to help out others! Before the summer ends I am living at home with my family before moving into college! I have as much free time as possible to help out with anyone’s pets in the meantime! I have 3 small, friendly pups at home to give company to your pet. I also have a non-fenced, but very large, backyard to play around in. I can easily crate your pet or not, depending on what you prefer!
16. Madi A.
About: I’ve taken care of almost every common animal around, growing up I was around big and small animals. Every animal is different, they sometimes crave or need that extra little attention & that’s okay ! I do work full time at a bar, but I have free time everyday to make the effort of checking in on animals or staying at clients home. I have 3 very friends dogs and a spacious yard, it isn’t fenced in but can definitely make the effort of putting animal on leashing if needed !
17. Sarah W.

About: Currently a Vet tech/kennel tech and a former Vet receptionist. I have been at my clinic for over 3 years. Working on associates degree in vet tech! Comfortable with Exotics 🐾! I work half days, full days, and am off some days. I can go before/after work (sometimes lunch if close by). Half days allow more time to prioritize the pet. Before caring for the pet, I prefer to meet if applicable, let the pet become comfortable with me. If by chance it is not possible, I ask for a detailed list.
19. Kristi S.
“Absolutely amazing family to watch your pups. They do an exceptional job and they even do a complimentary bath before your pup is given back. They give belly rubs and brush their coats daily. Pictures and videos are sent throughout stay. From the updates about my pups sent to our family, it seems like they are very engaged in the daily activities of every pup! Best sitter ever!”
