“Gretchen and Amy are truly the best dog sitters! Our dog has some anxiety and often times when we pick him up from a boarder’s home, he is stressed out and anxious. This is not the case when he stays with Gretchen and Amy. He actually enjoys being there and is very calm when he gets home. This makes leaving him, especially for longer vacations, so much easier when we have peace of mind that he is getting the love and attention he would if he were home. We get regular updates and photos while he is there and the dogs in the home are very well behaved and friendly. I highly recommend them for your dog boarding needs. They are natural animal lovers.”

About: I've had dogs and cats all my life. I enjoy their company. Love taking them for walks, playing and cuddling with them. Their my life. I work part time. Your furry friend will never be neglected. We have 2 dogs of our own who love other dogs. Your dog won't want to leave. Our yard is partially fenced. We have multiple size crates if needed. We have almost 2 acres, and i typically supervise my dogs when i let them out. .

About: I’ve cared for dogs my whole life and when I was a kid I knew I was different. I feel empathy for all types of life and would help whenever I can. In 2008 I started working w dogs in dog rescue and I still work with rescues today! I’ve trained multiple dogs on everything from running on a bike, basics, therapy and I have completed multiple dog training courses this year with my Husky. Your dog will do well with me because I understand them in a way many don’t and my life’s calling is to help the species. I take dog training classes at Embark in Eau Claire currently. I only work 32 hours a week in brick and mortar on a standard day schedule. I get an hour lunch so I come home and walk them. I work remotely one day a week usually Mondays and I have weekends off so I am there for your family as needed. I will try to keep routines the same and I live in a nice neighborhood. I walk my dog 2-3+ times per day which I think is key to their happiness.

“Communication with Cherie was quick and articulate. Cherie was super easy going, and my doggie LOVED being with her. How do I know? Besides the many pictures happy pictures of him she sent throughout the week, after she dropped him off, my doggie looked sad. :( Of course by the next day, he was back to his usual self, but clearly Cherie provided such a loving environment for him that he just missed her! We'll DEFINITELY be seeking out Cherie again when we need a sitter! You should, too!”
