“Sam has a lovely fenced back yard in a quiet neighborhood not near major traffic. Shiloh had a lovely time at Sam's house (some of it in Pam's lap), and will most likely be returning during our next trip.”

After having a traumatic experience with a Rover watcher, I was honestly very nervous to trust anyone with my dog ever again. Mark restored my faith completely. Not only was he one of the kindest people I’ve met in a long time, he has an incredible heart for animals. He treated my pup like a treasured family member. My dog instantly loved him. But while I was gone he went out of his way to make sure she had the best day each day…play dates, went on adventure walks, cuddles! He was knowledgeable about dog traing and grooming (my dog came back soft and shiny.) He even bought her a very expensive chew toy, which he sent her home with. She actually cried a little when I took her home because she got so attached to Marc. I cannot recommend Marc highly enough.”

For over 13 years, I have entrusted him with the overnight care of my own dog, Nyla, who can be somewhat challenging as she can be fear aggressive nature towards other dogs. He is my emergency contact for my dog and I trust him without question. I am not alone; Eric provides walks and overnight care to other dogs in the area, and he strives to make sure his own dog Sandy has the BEST dog life, ensuring a great healthy diet and plenty of exercise. He is knowledgeably about both human and pet medical first response and maintains a calm demeanor when the situation warrants. It is without any reservation that I highly recommend him to be part of your organization.”

“Shannon and Tim are very warm and caring sitters. Shannon was interested in following our usual routine and did exactly that even when our dog tried to take advantage of their kindness by jumping on their bed. Their home is comfortable with a perfect fenced back yard. We just needed one night of care but will be happy to have them take care of our dog in the future.”

“Caroline went above and beyond taking care of my Pup Tilly. My dog has a lot of little nuances with eliminating and Caroline was very patient with her. She treated my Tilly as one of her own, giving her lots of love, sharing her own dogs’ treats (with consent) and even giving her a bath when she got dirty from all her walks during her 5 day stay. Her own dogs were the perfect playmates for my own small dog. Caroline is an excellent communicator and I received so many cute photos and videos. I will definitely seek her services next time I’m on the Cape! I highly recommend her.”

“My first experience using Rover. I'd rate 10 stars if I could. I couldn't have wanted or expected more. I narrowed my search on the site, and the couple I chose was a perfect match for my needs and my dog's needs. Their description and offerings were true and accurate. They were welcoming, asked appropriate questions, and proved extra caring and loving of my dog, an 11 pound Bichon Frise. From 11am to 11am, I received 5 text and 1 photo updates to reassure me all was well. It was a good and happy experience for their dog and mine. They are Best Buddies now. I highly recommend this couple.”

“Joanna was very responsive and took great care of my high energy pup. She also calmed my dog mom anxiety and assured me that my pup was settling in and doing fine. She even did some leash- work with her, suggested a training method, and I noticed my pup was pulling less immediately and even listening to me based on Joanna’s subtle training twerks and suggestions. “David and Mary are outstanding! We are so grateful to have found them. Kara and Shelly were walked much and we were updated with pictures. Kara is high anxiety; Mary and David took her on lots of walks and took the time to figure out what worked best for her. Mary asked the the appropriate questions and was always reassuring that the dogs were all getting along well. Our flights were delayed a day coming home and Mary and Dave were so accommodating as well as gracious about taking the dogs on extra walks before pick up so they would be tired for us to get rest when we got home with them which was so fantastic and thoughtful. I highly recommend Dave and Mary!”

Roger can be a bit anxious but Ellen bonded with him quickly and met all his needs. I highly recommend Ellen to anyone who wants to know that their special pet will be well cared for while they are away.”
