She is very responsive to messages and provides thorough updates from each visit that include lots of pictures. 9. Lucas T.
“Lucas has been pet sitting since 2016. He is now 18 and able to have his own Rover account. We call Lucas the "dog whisperer"; he is so good with all dogs...big and small, young and older. He gives the pups lots of care, attention and love. We have had numerous families have our family watch their dogs, and Lucas has always been involved. He has his own vehicle and can drive for dog walking. He's an excellent student, kind young man and a HUGE DOG LOVER! Also, he loves taking care of cats too. He has taken care of our neighbors cats many times, as well as another family member. He knows the type of care the cats need to be taken care of. Highly Recommended!”

About: I have a lifetime of experience with pets and pet care taking, and beyond that I have always loved each and every animal in my life to the utmost extent (to my detriment sometimes, I just get so attached). Over the years, I have cared for dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, guinea pigs, fish, amphibians, snakes, chickens, goats, ducks, and more! I am experienced with administering insulin and other medicines, and I am strict about not allowing them to eat any foods that aren't approved by their parent(s). I do not use harsh chemicals or fragrances on myself or in the home. I also have experience with the rare yet significant situation of coordinating veterinary euthanasia with the pets' parents in the event of major life illness/crisis. I have provided elder pet hospice care twice while pet sitting and innumerable times in my own life with pets I've owned over the years. While never pleasant by any means, know that your elder pets are in deeply loving, caring hands should something like this crisis arise. I provide video chat, trips to any vet of your choice (or an at-home vet I've worked with for years) to help us diagnose what your furry baby might be experiencing, and after you've talked with the vet yourself, watched over video chat, and decided to take the hard yet best decision for your pet, I am ready to help manage the process for a smooth, comfortable experience for everyone. I have had a family (my best friends and their children) on video chat while I cradled their cat through this transitional moment, at their vet's office with 3 nurses there to help us. Probably the hardest thing I've done in this line of work, but an important factor for anyone with elder pets who may experience their last moments while you are away and need somebody experienced and able to manage such a situation. Something we never, ever hope to occur, but if an animal is suffering, the kindest thing we can do for them sometimes. Just know they would be treated with the same care you would want to treat them during such an experience, and I would be in touch along every step of the way. And otherwise, I am happy to help and care for your pets at any age! And puppies at least over a year old I work part time from home, mostly from my phone, and am able to be present with your critters pretty much 24/7 save for the occasional errands! I am always happy to discuss the type of schedule your baby(/ies) might need! I still wear a high quality mask into people's homes during drop in visits (April 2024 and beyond!), I'm a covid safe sitter. I am always happy to take over a pet's routine in their home and adapt to things such as where they like to sleep, where they like to walk, and what their little quirks in the space might be. I make sure to keep items like foods, cleaning supplies, and vitamins well out of their reach, and I do a thorough cleaning of the space before you return as well!
11. Kayla G.
About: I helped my mom raise and train two Norwegian Elkhound puppies who are two years old now. They are my world and I visit them as much as I can. I work full time, but on days that I work morning or I'm off I can set up appointments! I am new to this so shoot me a message if you want to set up an appointment. I am experienced with dogs who eat anything they can, so I would make sure your animals don't get into anything they aren't supposed to eat.
12. A T.
“I was extremely apprehensive with Bane staying away from home. He is 4, never been away from us and is a super high energy dog. When we dropped him off he already acted like he owned the place. He was so comfortable there. They sent several pictures and messages to keep me at ease. I could tell by the photos that he was having such a great time. He even made some new friends. I was dreading going on our trip bc I was so worried about him. But now we are planning our next trip. We know he will be in good hands with Andy and Angela.”
13. Meghan T.
“Meghan has been caring for our 2 Labradors for two years, and I can’t say enough kind things about her. Meghan truly loves our dogs - she throws our training bumpers for them so they get plenty of exercise, she feeds them, gives them treats, supplements, meds, and follows diet restrictions when they are feeling ill. Meghan gives our girls lots of pets, and texts us when she notices a change in their health or has a question. Meghan is very responsible and would recommend her to anyone!”
14. Josie H.
“This was my first time using rover & I am so happy with my decision to book Josie. I am a very anxious dog mum & have been nervous to book! She even stopped over the day before to meet my guy & I, he instantly fell in love with her! She is awesome& sent the cutest pictures! 20/10 recommendation of Josie! Mink can’t wait to see her again.”

About: I’m a dedicated animal enthusiast with extensive experience for dogs of all breeds and ages. My 8 month old boxer boy, Finley, is a social butterfly who thrives on playtime and canine companionship! Whether you need a loving companion for your pup during the day, a reliable overnight sitter, or someone to provide walks and playtime, I’m here to help! I currently work from home with flexibility to give your dog all the fun, love, and attention they need. This means playtime before and after work, during lunchtime, and engaging potty breaks in between. I can easily crate your dog, keep them on a leash during potty breaks, or connect them to the leash and stake in the ground.
16. Alyssa B.
“Alyssa and luke are both absolutely AMAZING!!! She accepted the job of watching my little baby kitty less than 24 hours in advance. She texted me with photo updates anytime she went over and had wonderful communication the entire time. This was my first time leaving kitty alone with someone and she made sure to put my mind at ease. I would trust Alyssa or Luke anytime with any of my animals and highly recommend working with them!”
17. Sarahy D.
“Sarahy took such great care of our pup while we were away. I cannot recommend her enough.”
18. Lindsay C.
“Lindsay was great with my two pups! She came by for a drop in visit since we just got a new pup while we’re at work. She spent a lot of time playing with them both of them and training. She followed all instructions for them and they love her! I can tell from all the photos and videos she’s sent. Would recommend her to anyone to watch their fur babies.”
