“Alyssa was amazing with my dog! My Daisy can be a bit anxious but Alyssa got her to warm right up. The peace of mind knowing my dog was being so we'll taken care of while I was away made travelling much less stressful. Alyssa also took the best photos of Daisy I've ever seen and it was such a treat to see them while I was away. I can't express enough how grateful I was for Daisy to be in such great hands!”

About: Hi, I am a mature, quiet, easy going single woman who loves animals. I am 70 years old, I’ve owned horses for 37 years and I grew up with dogs since childhood and have owned dogs in my adult life as well. I have done pet/house sitting for many years and have had no problems with anyone in my care. I have given shots to a diabetic dog, meds in a dropper to a cat and pills down the throat of many a dog and cat. I have an easy going approach and there isn't too much that ruffles my feathers. Dogs always like to sit on the couch with me to watch TV at night...LOL. I have 37yrs experience with horses and taking care of them and their barns. I’ve also helped my dog groomer friend by bathing, drying and clipping the hair inside their paws. If you have any questions or need additional info, feel free to ask. Why I love pet sitting/walking I was raised with dogs, had them after I got married, then got a corgi after my divorce. While married, I confiscated the family dog because I did not feel he was getting enough attention at my family's home. I did some Flyball and agility with my corgi, Geraldine who passed in 2013 at the age of 15. Walking a dog gets us both out and about and it also tells me a lot about the behavior of the dog, their reactions to people and other dogs as well as strange noises. I love their personalities and their antics and watching them play with other dogs. The same applies to horses. Being around them helps me get to know them and their personalities and eating habits I’m currently retired so I’ll have plenty of time to play/walk and work with your dogs, play with your kitties and spend time with your horses. I do not have a fenced in yard so walking your dog is best or taking them to a dog park. I’d care for them like they were my own. I would also stay at your home if needed so that your pet can stay in a familiar environment. If you have horses, I could stay at your home as well and take care of them as well as taking care of your barn and stalls.

9. Leann Q.
“We just met Leann but are already so very pleased with her care for our elderly dog. We feel confident in her so that we do not need to worry when we are away.”
10. Whitney L.
“Whitney was great! This was my first time trying Rover and she made me feel totally comfortable, and was willing to do a meet up before the initial appointment. Highly recommend and will be booking in the future!”
11. Pavlos A.
“Pavlos took great care of my kittens. They are a little shy but I needed someone to watch them while I was gone. He took care of my kittens like they were his own and he was very communicative.”
12. Jenna V.
“Jenna takes great care of my animals! She keeps me informed about how they are doing and takes wonderful pictures! Love getting them when I’m away.”
13. Jazmin M.
“Jazmin's love for animals has always been apparent to me since I have known her. She is an energetic, bubbly person who would give all the care and attention to one's pet, as if it was her own.”
14. Hailee Y.
“Hailee did so well with my difficult cat. My Topaz has pretty bad social anxiety and can be aggressive with strangers but Hailee read her cues and handled it great. I would 100% recommend her to anyone!”
15. Jenna G.
“Jenna was wonderful doing drop in visits with our two cats while we were away! She sent photos & gave us updates. We had peace of mind knowing our boys were in great hands with her! Would absolutely book again!”
16. Erica A.
“Erica has been so helpful taking care of my animals. I’ll definitely be reaching out in the future for her availability. Thank you Erica!”
17. Julianna M.
“Julianna was nothing but amazing. She took great care of my three dogs and even spent some time walking and playing with them to help burn off energy. She communicated well by asking questions which showed she genuinely cared for my dogs rather than just earning a check. One of them had an accident throughout Julianna’s visit but she didn’t hesitate to help with clean up and I’m extremely grateful for that. I highly recommend using her and plan to do so again myself in the near future.”
18. Kelly M.
About: Hi I'm Kelly! I am 27 years old. I have been taking care of dogs and cats for many years. I have two cats at home, Tiko and Mochi, and I have grown up around both cats and dogs. I am a teacher for my career, so I have lots and lots of love and patience for both people and animals! I am a full time teacher during the school year. During the summer months, I have all of my time to myself! My summer is dedicated to you and your pet! 😊 Everything I do in my career is with love and patience. My care for your pet will not be any different. I understand how important exercise is for humans and dogs alike. I will give your dog or cat the best care you could ask for.
19. Julia N.
“Julia was wonderful. Our old gal, Sophie, loved her visits and was so perky and thrilled to see her each time she stopped in to care for her. We appreciated the care and communication that Julia shared with us. So great to have peace of mind while we were away!”
20. Katie C.
“Katie is absolutely the best in home pet sitter I have ever had. Having a special needs French bulldog has always caused me to worry about vacationing and having all of his medical needs met. From his complicated feeding and dietary schedule, to his extensive medication regimen, he is definitely not an easy pet to take care of. Katie followed my instructions to the letter. Not only providing my Frenchie with the most patient and compassionate care, she also cared for my geriatric kitty and younger dog. When my pets need a sitter in the future, I would not want anyone else to care for them. I would recommend Katie for anyone who needs a pet sitter ,but for those who have brachycephalic dogs or those with special needs, she will provide them with specific care they require and go above and beyond for them!”
