“Jane did some house/dog sitting for me while I was out of state and was wonderful. She gave me up dates throughout the day and sent me pictures st least each morning and throughout my trip. She was responsive and followed my dogs schedule very well. My dog is partially blind and is more comfortable at my own house and Jane was very good with her. She left the place very clean as well. This was my first time using a dog sitting especially having one house sit and she made the process very easy and comfortable. I would absolutely use her again!”

Maurie has exceptional animal observation skills and quickly figured out how to make our two cats comfortable. She set up their toys and cat furniture to create a new and interesting environment for them. Maurie’s communication with us was outstanding – multiple pictures and communications every day! And from the pictures, it was pretty clear that the cats were enjoying being with her and enjoying life in general, which gave us great peace of mind. Maurie left the house clean and tidy and even cleaned our refrigerator shelves – wow! We whole-heartedly recommend Maurie!”

About: I am an MSW student and small business owner who has been in Luzerne County for a little over two years. As a pet owner, I know how stressful it can be to leave your furry family members behind when you're away. I bring over 30 years of pet ownership experience with me when I come to care for your pets. I love hiking and exploring the outdoors and also love a day on the couch watching movies. I have issues hitting a 10 mile trail with an energetic dog or spending the day watching Star Wars with a docile cat. I have a dog and a cat of my own and nothing in the world makes me happier than spending time with them. I am excited to bring the same energy to your dogs and cats! I am open and available and have a very flexible schedule. Currently working a 9-5, Monday through Friday, but can work remote when needed. As of June of 2024 I will be leaving my current role to focus on pet care and to on my business. I am basically available 24/7. I understand how tough it can be to invite a stranger into your home to care for your pets. As a pet owner myself, my aim is to follow your precise instructions and make sure all of your pet's needs are met. My dog is getting up there in age and requires daily oral medication. She also isn't a fan of taking her pills. I am no stranger to coming up with inventive ways of getting my pets to take their medicine.

“Dawn was absolutely amazing with our pups and treated our home like it was her own. She is such a loving and caring person and our dogs could tell from the minute she walked in. The pups are so used to being with someone all day (we work from home) and throughout the stay she was always playing with them or giving them snuggles. I think they hardly noticed we left. Ha. She kept us up to date on everything they were doing, sent videos and pictures constantly! She is responsible and smart and we never worried for one second- that is priceless. About: I have had dogs all my life. Walking them is a nice way to spend one on one time with your animals. Dogs are awesome I work part time so I have time in-between to let the animals out for potty breaks. And weekends are free so I be available. Putting the dogs needs first. Always making sure there is water and food. I have experience giving dogs medicine. I get along with animals best.
