About: My Husband and I are loving owners of our beautiful, boisterous, blue eyed Siberian Husky called Blu! Blu has given us 11 years of absolute joy, she has not lost her zoomies or puppy like personality which makes caring for her fun and games. We trained her from a puppy which took sometime (and lots of treats!) but she is now a well trained dog and is always so happy when around other dogs. She is super friendly towards new dogs and always loves any doggy dates we plan. My husband has a very flexible job where he works from home and able to attend to your beloved dog’s needs as and when needed. If your dog is like ours I predict they will have a nice snooze at his feet after a lunch time walk and treat. I also have a very flexible working day and can support during work hours. Evenings and weekends always involve long doggy walks in the local Leeds area. We have plenty of woodland/ parks/ countryside walks on our doorstep which Blu always looks forward too. If your dog is a little older and prefers a shorter stroll or more frequent toilet breaks, we can equally cater to this. We are dog obsessed and always keen to doggy sit for friend’s and family’s dogs, whether that be overnight or just for the day. Just the other week we had the pleasure of looking after my cousins Samoyed for the weekend, enjoying the sun in the secure garden in the morning before an afternoon stroll round the local reservoir. We also have plenty of space in our cozy home for the more rainy days. We are aware of all the important doggy DOs and DONTs and have local vets within 5-10minutes. If your dog has any additional medical/ dietary needs we are happy to facilitate any of their needs with the aim to maintain routines as much as possible. About: I’ve always been the go to friend for dog sitting & walking since moving to Leeds. By gaining experience with small dogs and providing basic training, I have now progressed on to medium & larger breeds within the local community. I’m currently a stay at home partner and my partner runs his own pub. We have a large field connected to the pub for playtime as well as lots of nature trails around us to tire the dogs out! I specialise in younger, high energy dogs. As long as you tell me your dogs requirements and training level, I’m more than capable of adapting their stay with me to their needs! I recently left my hospitality job to have more time for myself and to get out & about in nature. I am home 7 days a week allowing me to have full focus on your dog & full flexibility for your pick ups/drop offs I am able to offer as much or as little attention as required! I am more than happy to have dogs stay at my place for the day (or longer if needed). I live above a pub, however we do have private access to the accommodation upstairs. I have access to a large private balcony for any toilet needs and also a large field to provide extended playtime! I am surrounded by multiple large nature walks that have areas suitable for on or off lead, depending on your pet’s training & requirements. I’m also happy to assist in any training that your pet may need, this is something that can be discussed at length to make sure we’re all on the same page.

About: I recently held a part time job working in a local kennel and cattery. In addition, prior to moving to England, I worked in a cattery in Dundee. This experience has allowed me to gain confidence working with smaller animals and understanding the care they require when they are away from their owners. In both placements, I had similar roles such as cleaning out the kennels, feeding the pets taking into account their dietary requirements and administering medication and leading conversations with owners to make sure the pets needs were met while they stayed with us. I developed an understanding of how stressful this environment can be for a pet separated from their owner and how this can be managed. This experience has helped me develop relationships with animals and their owners and gain their trust, an area of great importance when looking after animals. I spent three months volunteering six-hours per week at Parkhill Vets, Wetherby observing and participating in consultations and assisting peri and post-operatively. This experience provided an opportunity to develop communication, leadership, teamwork skills and understand the difficulties faced by practitioners and owners. confronted with emotional dilemmas such as euthanasia. I attended consultations on vaccinations, insurance and routine check-ups with opportunities to lead these consults under supervision, an experience I thrived in and grew in confidence. This opportunity was unfortunately shortened by the SARS-CoV-2 pandemic. I have experience working at the local kennels and cattery. I lead conversations with the clients to ensure the needs of the animals are met. Prior to this, I spent two years working at the Brae Riding School for the Disabled.

About: I've been around dogs my whole life, having grown up with a family dog, and now I have my own wonderful two year old Cockapoo (Roo), who I've raised and trained since she was a puppy. Initially I was caring for pets of family and friends, this grew through word of mouth and eventually I joined rover to do this more regularly. About: I’ve been caring for dogs since I was 10 years old and have always had a passion for animals. Having grown up around dogs and cared for my own, I have developed a strong understanding of their needs, routines, and behaviours. About: I have taken care of dogs ever since I was a child. I have had a Cane Corso and a French Bulldog. I am extremely responsible and treat all dogs I sit as my own. In the past year I took full time care of a French bulldog whilst his owner was at work. This included looking after him 7am - 5pm involving everything from feeding, walkies, playtime to bathing, brushing and sleepovers. My schedule is flexible as I work from home most of the week. I can also sit during the weekends, overnight or do stays when you go on a holiday. I always ensure maximum safety for my dogs. Depending on their personality, I remove objects they might chew / eat. From a young age I took an interest in dogs and I consider them my soul animals. As a child, I started training my Grandma's dogs and then my own family dogs. I've enjoyed learning about dogs behaviours, cues and psychology which gives me a better understanding of each individual animal. I had my own dog, up until 2 years ago as she passed away and so I have experience of being the sole carer of a pet dog. I'm always my friends and families go to person for dog sitting and I've been called a "dog whisperer". One of the proudest things I can say is that all animals trust me and that is such an honour! I live in a warm and compassionate shared house with 3 other dog lovers. Everyone mostly works from home so there will never be a shortage of cuddles and attention. At the moment, I don't work due to chronic health issues, so I have a lot of free time (depending on whether I'm having a bad flare up or not). Because of this, all my love and attention is on caring for the pets I look after. I tend to only ever look after one dog at a time, so I can give them my full attention. In my household there are no other animals or any children. I don't have an enclosed garden but I'm happy to take them to the toilet as many times as they need on the lead. There are several grass sections and woodland right next to my house. I always wants dogs to feel like my home is their home and that includes going on the sofa and bed.
