From the initial contact she replied to messages quickly was friendly and accommodatiing to any requests and after the "meet and greet" I had no concerns about Bella being well looked after. Hayley sent us regular messages and photos to show Bella was living her best life! I would have no hesitation in recommending Hayley to anyone and would entrust our dog with Hayley again in the future. Thank you for giving us the peace of mind that Bella was ok so we could enjoy our break.”

“Jessica was absolutely brilliant with our dog Ben! She looked after him overnight for us the night before our wedding, which gave us one less thing to worry about during such a busy and important time. She was so caring and went above and beyond by even bathing Ben for us! He came back happy, clean and clearly very well looked after. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better to look after him, and we would definitely recommend Jessica to anyone looking for a kind, trustworthy and caring dog sitter. Thank you so much! 🐾❤️”

About: I have most weekends available for boarding at my home. I have a dog of my own who is very very friendly and gets on with all dogs she meets. She loves to play and she will share her toys!! Due to her not being neutered I do not accept male dogs at the moment. I would love to take care of your dog in my home, perhaps you need a weekend break. I have a genuine passion for dogs and there will be lots of love, care and treats available. I do not drive so your pet would need to be dropped off and picked up at agreed times :) I work during the week and have my own little sweetheart, 🐾 I am available at weekends and some Friday nights can be agreed also with notice. I have a small terraced house with small secure garden for toileting. I am happy to walk your dog at the local church/park a few mins down the road where there is plentiful grass and space to roam.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was a young girl. My family and friends have always relied on me to take care of their pets when going away I do work full-time Monday - Friday. I get 1 hour's lunch break around 12pm. Weekends vary from going on long walks or in the gym to spending time with family and friends. I'd ideally be looking for weekend pet care, however if your pet could last 8-12 & 1-5 on their own then I can accommodate midweek care I have a fully fenced large garden and open fields just a 5-minute walk from my house perfect for taking your fur baby on a good walk. I don't have any pets of my own, if your pet is crate trained, I can also work with this
About: I’ve always had pets in my family, so I’ve looked after cats and dogs from a young age. I have also looked after senior dogs and puppies for other family members/friends. I have 1 loveable puppy (Labrador named Reggie) and 2 cats (Bean and Delilah). The cats are like 2 peas in and pod and I’ve had them since they were tiny. Reggie is high energy and loves being around other dogs. I used to really enjoy taking my old dog (Nora) on long walks- whether that’s to a park or in the countryside. I am in full-time employment. When I am working, my partner is at home. I am available after 5pm most days due to my working hours, but I am available for majority of weekends. My dog has been crate trained from a very young age. Our garden isn’t very big, but the walks that he goes on make up for it.

“Elena was great with Bella. She helped her settle in and made her feel very comfortable. I would definitely recommend her services. Elena is very professional and took everything at Bella’s pace. We had lots of communication throughout her stay and she kept me updated with photos and videos of how Bella was getting on. Thank you Elena”

About: I’ve owned and taken care of cats since I was a baby, when I was a child me and my dad would go and pet sit for friends and family, I have always been a cat lover. I currently have 5 cats that I adore - 4 of which are rescues. From working with rescue cats I am comfortable working with nervous cats that require a slower, calm environment and high energy cats that are ready to play.

“Megan and Stefan had our two cats for 7 nights while we were away. Megan sent us a daily update on how the girls were doing, which we really appreciated. Our kitties settled quickly and even socialized with the household cats, which was lovely to hear. We highly recommend Megan and Stefan and we will be booking them again.”

About: While my hands-on experience has mainly been with dogs, I've also looked after cats for friends while they were away — feeding them, checking in, and spending time playing with them. I understand cats have their own routines and personalities, and I'm attentive to their comfort, especially when their owners are away. I'm happy to follow specific instructions on feeding schedules, litter care, and any quirks your cat has.

“Hollie was really helpful. Constant update pictures throughout her stay. Played with the cat, cleaned up after him and gave him as much playtime and attention that he needed. Will defo be using again! ”

“Lynda looked after my cat Gabriel over Christmas and I honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. She came to my house to check on him and took really good care of him, it was obvious she genuinely cares about animals. She’s kind, considerate, and very reassuring throughout, and I felt completely at ease knowing Gabriel was being checked on properly and cared for in his own home. I’d 100% recommend Lynda to anyone looking for a reliable, caring pet sitter, and I’ll definitely be using her again.”

About: I am a fifth-year vet student with a strong compassion for animal care. My current role as a vet student has allowed me to solidify my confidence with handling and caring for animals of all shapes and sizes, including those with medical needs who may need extra attention. Alongside this, I have been fortunate to grow up with both cats and dogs in my childhood home, which has given me lifelong insight into the day-to-day responsibilities required when caring for our furry friends. Both of these combined allow me to provide both attentive and compassionate care to animals, ensuring that pets are kept safe and well looked after, so that owners can feel reassured while they are away.

“Elizabeth was great. She was friendly and Monty got on really well with her. She gave great updates each day and spent a good amount of time with Monty. Thank you for looking after him for us. Would definitely recommend.”

“I cannot speak more highly of the care Katalin gave my three older cats when I was on holiday; it was clear she'd looked after them as if they were her own. Every update and photograph (which accompanied each drop-in) showed very happy cats, and this meant I could relax and enjoy my holiday as I knew they were safe and in excellent hands. Thank you so much, Katalin!”

About: I have experience caring for cats with different personalities, from very independent to more affectionate and sensitive ones. I understand that cats are territorial animals and feel safest in their own environment, so I provide cat care exclusively in the owner’s home. I always respect each cat’s routine, habits, and boundaries. I make sure they are fed properly, have fresh water, clean litter trays, and the right level of attention — whether that’s playtime, gentle interaction, or simply quiet companionship. I am very careful with doors and windows, as cats can easily try to escape when they feel stressed or curious. My priority is to keep them safe, calm, and comfortable while their owners are away. I also send regular photo and video updates, so owners can feel reassured and know their cats are well cared for.

About: Hi, I’m your friendly neighbourhood cat sitter, here to spoil your kitty while you’re away. I grew up in a home full of cats and dogs, so being covered in fur and purrs is my natural state. I share my life with two cats of my own, and I’ve helped care for lots of friends’ cats too—shy, sassy, cuddly, and everything in between. I love getting to know each cat’s quirks and turning visits into their own little mini-holiday at home. Kittens, Seniors & In-Between From zoomy kittens to wise old lap-cats, I’m experienced with all ages and temperaments. I’m comfortable giving medication and following special routines, and I always take time to move at your cat’s pace—whether that’s playtime, cuddle time, or “please admire me from afar” time. My goal is simple: keep your cat’s world feeling safe, familiar, and fun until you’re back. Updates, Photos & Plenty Of Purrs As a cat parent myself, I know how hard it is to say goodbye at the door. That’s why I’m big on communication: expect cheerful updates, photos, and videos so you can see every nap, zoom, and slow-blink while you’re away. My Promise To Your Cat I’ll treat your cat like one of my own: with patience, respect, and lots of affection (always on their terms). I’m here to keep whiskers relaxed, food bowls full, and hearts happy, yours and your kitty’s.

“Charlie has been absolutely fantastic throughout the whole process. Great communication with messages. The cats very much enjoyed their time with Charlie and I’d have absolutely no hesitation in booking Charlie for future cat sitting. Thank you so much - it was great to be able to fully relax on holiday knowing my cats were being well cared for. Charlie also kept the house clean and tidy - really appreciated especially after a long day of travelling.”

About: Hi hi!! I'm Phoxx! I've always had dogs in my life since I was young, ranging from giant breeds to miniature breeds, and now as a keen adventurer that goes on frequent hikes I wouldn't mind some extra fluffy company occasionally. I am currently self-employed which allows me to pick which days i go out, so when caring for you fluffy family members I have the ability to take tike off and focus on them. If your pups are at my home, any times that I do need to pop out, my partner will be at home so the house is never empty. Especially with my beagle around to play with. I drive and have access to my a motorcycle and a car so I am happy to house sit for you during the day or simply pop in to make sure your pal has some company and fuss for a while. Due to the size of my house and having my own dog, I currently don't offer boarding for unknown dogs, but we can start at day care and go from there 😊 We have a big sun-trap of a garden that they are free to roam when the weather is nice, get frequent toilet breaks and I also go for walks to my local large field and sometimes down to a friends dog park too (if they're ok in the car) I only work part-time and it's usually based from home. I am never out of the house for long and have plenty of time to look after your furry friends! I have a large faced yard and my own dog to keep your companion company. We spend lots of time doing cuddles and play time as well as more relaxing nap times.

“Michael, his wife and two lovely labs have been brilliant with Seth. We arranged a pre-meet to introduce the dogs and to get to know each other. Seth has been for the day today and clearly had a brilliant time- backed up with some lovely photos and a big sleep when he got home. All of Seth's routines and needs (not always the easiest as a border collie and still a puppy!) were accommodated and we would definitely use Michael again.”

About: I’ve been around animals my whole life, both in the home and outdoors, so caring for them comes naturally to me. For the past 5 years, I’ve been a proud owner of Zara, my Golden Retriever, and for 8 years I’ve had my cat, Feli. I understand how important it is to trust someone with your pet, and I treat every animal with patience, love, and attention, just like my own. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or simply keeping them company, I make sure your pet feels safe, happy, and cared for at all times. I work from home while my two children are at nursery (morning–5 PM), so I have plenty of time to care for dogs, provide walks, and give them constant attention in a calm environment. I offer a safe and secure environment with a fully fenced garden. My dog is friendly and well-behaved, and my cat is calm and used to other animals. I always supervise pets to ensure a safe, relaxed, and loving atmosphere.
About: I’ve been a cat owner for nearly four years and currently have three cats of my own – Belle (Domestic Long Hair), Elsie (Ragdoll) and Dobby (Domestic Short Hair). Caring for them has given me hands-on experience with cats of different personalities, temperaments and needs. I grew up around rabbits, guinea pigs, dogs and cats, so I’ve always been surrounded by animals. While I now only own cats, I still have experience caring for my family’s dog, so I’m comfortable around dogs as well. I also have experience caring for cats with medical conditions and administering medication. My Ragdoll, Elsie, was unwell for an extended period and required daily medication before she was successfully weaned off it. She now has a specialist gastrointestinal diet, so I’m confident following feeding plans, administering medication and monitoring a cat’s health. In addition to caring for my own cats, I’ve helped search for missing and stray cats alongside a local cat rescue. I’m passionate about animal welfare and believe every pet deserves to feel safe, loved and well cared for. I will always treat your pets with the same love, patience and attention that I give my own. I currently work fully remotely, with core working hours of 10:00am–3:00pm. Outside of these hours, I have the flexibility to manage my workload, allowing me to fit pet visits and care around my schedule. I also have my own car, so I’m happy to travel to care for your pets. I’m based in Trentham, Stoke-on-Trent, but I’m willing to travel to surrounding areas to provide reliable, loving care for your furry family members. I live in a two-bedroom semi-detached home with a secure, fenced garden, providing a safe outdoor space if required. My home is situated in a quiet residential area with plenty of local walking routes nearby, making it ideal for calm and enjoyable walks. I’ll always follow your pet’s usual routine, including feeding schedules, medication, exercise and any specific care instructions, to ensure they feel comfortable, safe and settled while in my care.

“Lizzie is a lovely lady who looked after our dog,LOUIS, for a long afternoon. She sent us regular updates and photos and Louis didn't want to leave when we arrived to collect him. We would highly recommend her.”

“Highly recommend Nicola- we left our dog with him for the day whilst staying in the Peaks and wanted to visit Alton Towers for one day. He is brilliant at communicating prior to the stay and we felt very happy leaving our dog with him. Really friendly guy who obviously loves dogs. Has a wonderful, big, secure garden and took Bluebell on a lovely walk too. Had great photos and updates through the day. Have no hesitation in recommending him and if we visit Alton towers again would definitely rebook! Bluebell had a great time. She was very relaxed after her stay. Thanks so much!!”

About: I’ve been caring for friends’ dogs for the past three years, from lively puppies to calm seniors. During that time, I’ve learned how to make each dog feel secure, relaxed, and happy while their owners are away. I always follow their usual routines and adapt to their personality — whether that means playtime, walks, or quiet company. I live in the peaceful countryside, surrounded by nature, with a large, secure garden and open fields right outside my door — perfect for walks, exploring, and plenty of space to play. I work part-time from home, so I’m always around to give your dog constant care, company, and attention. Every dog I look after becomes part of my day-to-day life — they’ll get love, time, and comfort just like they would at home. Your dog’s safety is my top priority. The garden is fully fenced and secure, and I never leave dogs unattended outside. Walks are always on lead unless we’re in a completely safe, enclosed area. Because I work from home, I can keep a close eye on your dog throughout the day — making sure they’re happy, calm, and cared for at all times. My home offers a quiet, low-stress environment where dogs can truly relax and feel at ease.

About: I spent 14 years caring for my own Labrador, so I understand the daily rhythm dogs and cats need — regular walks, feeding times, and plenty of attention. Alongside that, I've helped friends and neighbours look after their dogs and cats whenever they've gone on holiday, covering everything from walks and feeding to daily drop-in visits to check in, play, and keep them company. I know how much peace of mind it gives you to know your pet is in safe, familiar hands while you're away. Whether it's a daily walk, a feeding visit, or a full day of company, I treat every pet like my own — with patience, consistency, and genuine care. I'm based in Stoke-on-Trent. I'm happy to discuss your pet's specific routine and needs before we get started. My schedule gives me great flexibility for regular care. On Mondays, Thursdays, and Fridays, I'm free all day and can offer morning, midday, or evening dog walks, along with drop-in visits at any time that suits you. Tuesdays and Wednesdays, I'm at university, so I'm generally available in the evening. On weekends, I'm available in the afternoons around my work schedule. I'm happy to work with you to find times that fit your pet's routine. For dogs, I focus on giving them plenty of exercise with long walks, along with lots of playtime and attention throughout the visit. For cats, I bring that same energy minus the walks — spending time playing, engaging with them, and making sure they feel comfortable and looked after while their owners are away. Whether it's a quick drop-in or a longer visit, my goal is to make sure every pet gets genuine attention, not just the basics.

About: I grew up with dogs my whole life, have had multiple pet rats, and currently the owner of a silly little cat. While I have no professional experience of pet sitting, I will treat every pet as if it was my own. I work part time, between 10-20 hours a week, so have plenty of time to come and hang out with your pets. Working around my works schedule i can do weekdays and weekends. If you have any specific requests for your pet I will follow them to ensure the best experience for your furbaby. Anything from certain walking schedules, food, even tuck them in to bed if needed!
About: I've loved animals my whole life. I grew up with my west highland white terrier sister and a menagerie of other pets Seeing and spending time with animals is 100% my happy place. My parents have always had Westies including a beautiful pair of sisters who made it to the ripe old age of 16. As a child and even into early adulthood I never knew a life without dogs in it. I have personally had over 26 years of being a cat owner (although I'm not sure that's not the other way round haha). My current fur baby is a very handsome gentleman who is nearing the ripe old age of 21 who loves cuddles and I have to admit is spoilt rotten ;) Since I was made redundant during the Covid lockdown I've made a life/career change to focus on things I love. As well as looking after pets, I'm now an artist/crafter specialising in pet portraits (CraftyEvey) and can sometimes be seen at the Makers Market at Trentham. I love going to Trentham because I get to steal lots of fusses from the dogs that are walking past haha. Joining Rover has given me even more of what I love – sharing my time with animals. I've had the great pleasure of caring for close to around 20 different animals so far and can't wait to meet more. Some people have said that they think I'm a dog/cat whisperer but honestly I think it's just because I'm calm and I take time for them to show me what they need. Some have been cuddle-bunnies, others were nervous and needed space and understanding. My primary focus is making sure they're happy and hopefully having such a nice time that they don't miss their parents too much. Sadly my cats haven't been without their medical issues over the years. The good news from that is that I have experience giving liquid oral medication and administering injections. I'm also quite happy handling raw meat if that's what you normally feed your pet(s) with. Whatever you need I promise you can trust me to treat them as I would my own. As a self employed artist my schedule is very flexible. I need several hours per day to work on my art but the timing of that is completely within my control. My priority making sure your fur babies are happy, safe and secure. I will take your lead regarding existing any routines they have and am happy to meet and greet with you beforehand to ensure your comfort in trusting me.
“Charlie is absolutely lovely to work with. She's punctual, approachable, and Harris took to her straight away which is rare as Harris usually cautious with new people. We are so happy to have found Charlie and are excited for many more walks as well as potential house sitting in the future. Highly recommend her!”

“Paul was fantastic with Magnus -- who can be a challenging dog. He arranged a visit before so he could meet Magnus and my dog immediately seemed comfortable with him. He walked him in the local area, handled his reactivity well, and even kept Magnus happy despite the rain. I would recommend to anyone else with a pet who has special requirements! Thank you!”

“Poppy stayed with Jordyn for several days. Jordyn was very flexible when it came to helping Poppy to settle in quickly, she kept to my request for feeding times and snacks for Poppy and also was kind enough to administer meds that had recently been subscribed at the vets. Poppy had lots of exercise which she really enjoyed and Jordyn kept me updated on a daily basis including some lovely photo's of Poppy's adventures. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending Jordyn to anyone who is looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”
