About: I share my home with a young Labrador who is happiest when he has another dog to play with. People always comment on how well trained he is — good manners, listens well, and he reads other dogs well. Certainly helps that he is addicted to food. On walks, energy is his default setting; other dogs are his favourite thing in the world. I am very flexible as I work from home, so I follow your routine: feeding times, meds if needed, and any house rules you set. I send updates during the stay. I’m happy to do a meet and greet before you book, so we know the dogs get on (Hank always will). Once they do, your dog gets supervised play, walks, and a tired, happy evening, all in green fields in a safe little village.

About: Being a registered veterinary nurse I have the experience others may not. I am fully trained in CPR and emergency care and can also administer medications to poorly or chronically ill animals. In addition to this, I can provide adaptive care depending on your pets needs whether they are young and need more training and extra enrichment or whether they are senior and need extra support. I have horses, dogs, chickens and a cat myself! I’m happy to care for all kinds of animals and my main aim is to create a bond that allows them to be comfortable, stress- free and happy! I’m currently working 40 hour weeks. My shift days alternate but I tend to have most weekends off as I do one in four weekends, so weekend work would be most preferred but would be open to talking about drop ins/ walks in the week. I won’t be able to have an animal in my own home due to having so many animals I wouldn’t want to risk neither being uncomfortable.

About: My wife and I have been dog sitting for over 5 years. This started for family and friends and grew through word of mouth. We have owned dogs for 14 years as a couple. We are looking to pet sit more often. We both work from home so there is always someone here to look after your pooch. We are a fit and healthy couple who do not smoke. We are very active and can walk your four legged friend once or twice a day for 45 mins - 1hour. (Some weekends we like to hike and your companion will be able to join us if they like walking long distances. If your dog is not up for a long walk we would adjust our schedule to suit). We live in a small cul-de-sac in Bridgnorth, at the end of our road is a coppice woodland that was rewilded in the 1960's this is an ideal area for us to walk your dog. If you would like a meet and greet then we'll be happy to go on a quick walk to show you the local area. Dogs we look after do need to be comfortable with sleeping downstairs or our little pup would get jealous! I am able to fit our doggy walks in and around work due to being able to work from home. We are able to make sure that toilet breaks can be had when needed and that we can fit in an 1hr walk at lunch time. We often walk our own dog at lunch and straight after work so can walk your pooch twice a day if needed. We are both DBS checked due to our careers. We have a fully fenced garden. We are experienced in administering medicine, having looked after a family members dog who required palliative care. We would take details of your vet and make sure your dog was looked after well incase of an emergency.

About: I have been involved with dogs all my life, although Max, my 5yr. old Labrador is only my third dog. Max, who I have trained to be an excellent gun dog, is friendly with all dogs and people. However, he is intact, so ladies in, or close to season would be unfair to all parties. My situation, just 100yds. from Wyre Forest allows me to give your dog a new and exciting walking experience without any driving, with Max as a very friendly companion. In addition your dog will have the run of my medium sized secure garden at all times with all day opportunity for toilet ops. If required, I can provide basic training-sit, stay, recall, heel, etc. I am a retired pensioner with a dog so my daily/weekly routine is almost entirely centred on my home and my dog. An additional dog would make very little difference to this routine with the bonus of company for each. My garden is fenced and dog proof. Although my dog is walked without a lead in the forest, all visitors would be on a lead, and a 20mtr running line would be available if required. At night, my visitors would sleep in my conservatory, with water nearby and be able to access the garden if necessary.
About: I've had dogs for the past 8 years and have previously looked after family and friends dogs too as my day job (environmental economist) is 100% remote from home. This means I am always at home with my Golden doodle Briannah and would love to extend our hometo other dogs too either for day care or dog boarding. I enjoy an active life style and live in rural Dorrington within a short walk from an open field and countryside with plenty of opportunities for dogs to exercise on or off the lead. As explained in my bio I work from home so I am typically always in the house during a normal working day. I walk my dog twice a day morning and evening where we go to the nearby field and play fetch or go for a country walk in the surrounding public footpaths. However I can accommodate 3 walks a day if that is what your dog is used to. We have a decent sized fenced garden and I let my dog go out as much as she wants to and I would do the same for yours. If he or she likes company I can set up their dog bed in my study and they can be by my side at all times. As I explained the garden is a good size (around 90m2) and is fenced so there is no way out. I am happy to walk off lead at your recommendation particularly if they like to play fetch but would keep them on the lead otherwise. We have 3 children age ranges 0 to 9 and my older two love to see new dogs and will typically get me to ask if we may pet them whilst we are out and about. As we have a cat dogs who are used to them are preferred. Either way my cat will typically hide at first as she did when we got our dog but with time she learns to trust them.

About: Merlin and I walk twice a day in Mortimer Forest. He is an only dog so would love some company! Merlin just turned 2 and is a bedlington whippet lurcher who runs very fast and loves chasing sticks. He also loves paddling in rivers and streams. If you think your dog would like to join us for a high energy hour-long walk let us know! I am a highly caring and careful owner to Merlin and would be the same towards your dog. Whilst we have lots of fun I am always aware of our surroundings (I have to be with a lurcher!) and safety is my priority. We walk every day at 11am and 7pm in the summer, or just 10am in winter when it's dark. Weekdays, weekends and holidays all included. Rain or shine! I take great care to get to know each dog individually and pay attention to meeting their unique needs on our walks. Let me know what kinds of games they like to play or tricks they enjoy working on and I will incorporate them into the walks.

Holding space for exploration of self and gentleness and care with and for the animals as reflectors was a wonderful way to help children grow, thrive and find peace in a space outside of school. I have also worked in primary schools as a teaching assistant so emotional support, regulation and providing nourishment for growth is well practiced. I spent good time with a deaf and blind dog (Judy) which has opened new ways of communicating beyond those senses. I believe that we are here to help eradicate the fear from animals. I love animals with quirks as it opens pathways into healing for them and those around them. I have experience training, basic first aid and have looked after new born puppies and kittens. I was there for Daisy when she gave birth to the kittens. I have cared for a paraplegic dog for a week including physio and i have cared for a dog with epilepsy. About: I have owned 2 dogs within my adult life, both from puppies. This means I have experience looking after puppies, training them and sticking to a routine. I have always been bought up around dogs, and my family has dogs too which I look after. I have a massive love for all dogs, regardless of their size and breed. Unfortunately my 2 dogs have passed away, leaving a massive hole in my heart and currently I am not in the position to have another… leading me to Rover to give me the opportunity to be around dogs still. I am currently working from home, so I have a lot of time to give your dog. I am available different times, for either drop in, walks, boarding or over night stays within your home. Within my house we have a big garden and lots of fields nearby, meaning I will be able to exercise your dog however works best for them. I do not have a fenced garden, but can put your dog on a long line should this be required. Otherwise I will always be present when they are outside going to the toilet.

About: I share my home with a young Labrador who is happiest when he has another dog to play with. People always comment on how well trained he is — good manners, listens well, and he reads other dogs well. Certainly helps that he is addicted to food. On walks, energy is his default setting; other dogs are his favourite thing in the world. I am very flexible as I work from home, so I follow your routine: feeding times, meds if needed, and any house rules you set. I send updates during the stay. I’m happy to do a meet and greet before you book, so we know the dogs get on (Hank always will). Once they do, your dog gets supervised play, walks, and a tired, happy evening, all in green fields in a safe little village.

Your dog’s safety, happiness and comfort are our priority, and we want every stay to feel like a home from home. ❤️ 🐾 EXPERIENCE A lifetime of love and experience with dogs I had my two much-loved dogs, Zeus and Zena, from just 8 weeks old until they sadly passed away at 14½ years old, so I have genuine hands-on experience of caring for dogs throughout every stage of their lives — from energetic puppies through adulthood and into their senior years. They had completely different personalities. Zeus was reactive, which taught me a great deal about patience, recognising triggers, giving a dog space and carefully managing walks and interactions. Zena was the complete opposite — extremely friendly and loved children! With her, the challenge was managing her excitement and helping her stay calm when she wanted to greet everyone she met. As they became older, I adapted to their changing needs. Zeus developed hip dysplasia and eventually used a doggy wheelchair, while Zena used a pushchair when she could no longer manage longer walks. I made sure they could still enjoy getting outdoors and being part of everyday life while keeping them safe and comfortable. After 14½ years of having dogs by my side, the house is very quiet without them. I'm not ready to have another dog of my own, but I have plenty of love, time and space to give, and I'd love to use that to help other owners by providing a safe, caring home-from-home for their dogs. I understand that every dog is an individual. Whether they're young and energetic, older and slower, nervous, reactive or simply love lots of attention, I'll take the time to understand their routine and what makes them feel happy and secure. Your dog won't just be staying with me — they'll be welcomed into my home and cared for as if they were my own. ❤️🐾 I’m happy to board up to two dogs at a time, providing they are from the same household. This means your dogs can stay together in a comfortable home environment, and I can give them plenty of individual care and attention. I don’t board dogs from different households at the same time. I currently work full-time, but pet care will be something my partner and I are both involved in. I have two days off during the week and finish early on another day, while my partner is home during the day. Between us, we can provide plenty of company, attention, walks and care throughout the day, so your dog will rarely be left alone. We have a secure, fenced garden with plenty of space for dogs to enjoy. Some landscaping work is underway but is currently paused until next year, and the garden remains safe and secure for dogs. We will always supervise dogs appropriately and follow their usual routines, including feeding, walks, medication and any individual care needs. Having cared for our own dogs from puppies into old age, we understand how important it is for owners to know their dog is safe, comfortable and well cared for.
