About: I've been a sitter for my sisters dog, willow for the past 3 years whilst she goes on her travels. My children enjoy having a dog in the house & I enjoy watching them play in our garden. I have pets in the past, a rescue stafi Tia, two cats mitzi and Pandora. They were loved beyond measure. I'm a stay at home mother with two small children. We go for walks daily, come rain or shine. We have a very relaxed home environment, my children love to play in the garden mostly and are besotted with animals, including creatures they find in the garden. My eldest daughter is nearly 3 and absolutely loves playing fetch with her aunties dog Willow who often stays with us when she's on holiday. We enjoy walking in the near by feilds and exploring a new home town. We have recently moved in to our new home and can offer a large enclosed garden, plenty of room for running up and down. Our house is small but spacious enough for our furry friends to stay over.
“Mark and Helen looked after Simba as if he were their own dog. We were so happy knowing Simba was being so cared for in every way while we were on holiday. We can't recommend them high enough, we met with Mark and Helen before Simba's stay any worries we had about taking him to stay there were gone completely after chatting with them. Simba's a 10 year old dog set in his ways everything was accommodated with smiles and like it was completely normal. Anyone leaving their dog with Mark and Helen will be as happy as we were. They were fantastic thankyou so much to you both, such a lovely couple xxx”

“I cannot recommend Susan enough. She looked after Ollie for a few days while I moved house and he had the best time. He was looked after so well and I was kept updated regularly which helped me because I have never left him anywhere before. I will definitely be rebooting woth Susan again in the future.”

“Toffee loved his weekend stay with Louise, as always. She made sure he kept cool with only very early and late walks and the use of a cooling mat as well. Louise sent photos through as well, so I knew Toffee was feeling at home. Would thoroughly recommend Louise as a very caring dog sitter.”

“Rachael was great with Chester. He absolutely loved being there. When he was picked up, he was very happy and tired and slept for hours when back at home I could tell had a fun time. I will definitely be using Rachael again. Highly recommended.”

“Rosie absolutely loved staying with Kate. She kept me up to date with how Rosie was doing and set me lots of pictures! I will definitely be using Kate again and recommending her to others x”

“Our Rosie seems to have had the time of her life, runs walks lots of attention. I didn’t think she would want to come home. Georgie has been amazing at keeping us updated every day with some lovely photos. It’s s lovely to have such great info on how Rosie has been. Thank you so much everyone for taking such good care of her. I would highly recommend Georgie to others and will definitely and happily leave Rosie with the family again xx”

“Our dog Kora had a great time with Gabi and her 2 lovely dogs. They all got on really well and had lots of fun playing together. Gabi sent us regular updates and we felt she was in very safe hands.”

“With it being Ambers first time away from us she she joined our family, we couldn’t have asked for a more wonderful, warm, friendly and playful environment for her to stay. Beth, Dan and Darcy really did make it a home away from home for her. So much so she didn’t want to leave lol! Beth and Dan are so lovely and even met with us before booking to make sure it was a right match for us all. During our time away Beth kept us up to date with messages and pictures of Ambers stay 🥰 It was so reassuring in knowing our not so little pup was in great hands and paws while we were away 🥰”

“We left our lively Cocker Spaniel with Cath over the bank holiday weekend.Cath gave us lots of photo and message updates and was very accommodating when we were concerned about being late to pick up Mabel due to traffic. We would happily use Cath again. Thank you Cath!”

“We're so pleased we found Deb, as soon as we met her we knew Tobi (our puppy) was going to be well looked after, which gave us peace of mind leaving him for the first time,. He's come home happy and relaxed and has settled back into his usual routines. Thanks for taking such good care of him.”

About: We understand from having dogs who do not like being left how important it is to have them cared for in a home environment. Our dog has full run of the house, sleeps on the bed and sofa and has three walks a day. My husband, Mark and I work from home and regularly look after friends pets when they go away from home. Recently, we looked after a springer spaniel for 6 weeks. However, our daughter is a vet so we understand that each dog has different needs and we would maintain any specific routine for your dog. Around 7 in the morning we go for our first walk of the day , then feed breakfast. Then another walk at lunchtime and we finish with an evening walk followed by supper. Our large garden is fully enclosed and dogs are not left on their own. Happy to follow a similar routine to what they have at their home.
“Piper had a good 3 week stay with Daniel. We received updates throughout, which really put our minds at ease, and by all accounts she was very well looked after. When she was collected happy and content we’d definitely recommend Daniel and would happily book again!”

“Lynette and Paul were so lovely with Ted - he was happy and waggy when I dropped him off and when I picked him up, too. He clearly had been made to feel like a part of the family. Thank you very much!”

“Over the moon we found Keri and Simon! Our dogs have had the best week spent with their family. Lots of walks, cuddles and photo updates. Honestly couldn’t have asked for nicer people to look after our dogs. Would highly recommend! Thank you both x”

“Laura was great with Sid and I've come home to a very happy cat! Communication was brilliant and Laura sent me some updates and pics so I wasn't worried about him. Would definitely recommend Laura!”

About: I've had two cats in the past Mitzi 20 and Pandora 18. They were my sanctuary for many years, loved and well fed beyond measure. I miss them dearly. I cared for them immensely and they were the best company. We occasionally house sit for my mother who has a grey British cat called mimi.
“Kate was very reliable and sent me updates for all visits to feed my cat- so i would highly recommended her services. My cat is very anti-social with strangers so not the cuddling type but i felt reassured knowing she was being fed and she seemed happy when i returned.”

About: I’m a lifelong cat lover and understand that every cat has their own personality and routine. I’m patient with shy and nervous cats and happy to give confident, cuddly cats plenty of attention. I can help with feeding, fresh water, litter trays, playtime, cuddles and company while you’re away. I’ll treat your cat with the same love and care I give my own. ❤️
“Rebecca was fantastic! She sent daily photos of my cats. She followed instructions provided to for the cats and left the space clean! She really made me feel safe for leaving my cats for the first time with someone from rover. 10/10 recommend Rebecca ☺️”

“Thank you very much to Sophie for your two visits to our dogs yesterday and your meet and greet visit beforehand so they could get to know you. It was a very pleasant surprise to get the report cards and photos to see and hear how they got on each time and I'm glad there was no barking the second time which shows they were getting used to you. We got home about an hour after your second visit and we were pleased to see how settled they were. Thank you for washing up their bowls after feeding them too.”
About: After begging my whole life, I finally was allowed to get my own dog back in 2021. I got Ivy (my dog) as a puppy and completed all her training by myself. I think I’d read just about every dog training and behaviour book on the market so I could give Ivy the best environment possible. While I got very lucky with Ivy’s temperament, I have been a sitter for reactive dogs before. One dog in particular whom I have walked on occasion (but mostly did home visits) was very reactive and anti-social. I did meetings with the owner present to ensure the dog was comfortable with me before completing home visits alone. While on walks, it was imperative to keep this dog away from all other dogs, especially off-leash ones. I picked routes that ensured encountering minimal other people, and when we did come across other dog walkers I simply moved a fair distance off the path and held Frankie’s (the dog) attention using treats and positive reinforcement. By ensuring she kept her focus on me until the people had passed, it kept her reactivity to a minimum. Her reactivity was triggered by fear and anxiety, so avoidance of such situations meant that she was comfortable and therefore a pleasure to walk. I have experience sitting/walking dogs of all ages (including puppies and seniors) and feel comfortable with all breeds/sizes. I’m currently a university student, and with summer coming up I will have plenty of free time! I recognise the importance of reliability within pet-care and can promise to communicate my availability in advance. I have a fenced garden and space for a crate if necessary (however you would have to provide this equipment). Apart from larger equipment (like a crate/car cage, etc.) I can provide most things myself, such as food and water bowls, toys, treats, leash, etc. However these are mostly there as a ‘just in case’ option, as it is always better to use equipment your pet is already familiar with to avoid any discomfort or stress.

“Leanna and Lauren did an amazing job of looking after my 2 cats. They took the time to get to know the cats and their personalities and fussed & played with them as well as feeding them and administering medication (tablets and eye ointment) to one of the cats. They sent detailed updates and lovely photos. Unfortunately one of my cats became ill and they quickly identified the problem and let me know straight away. Using a cat sitter when my cat was unwell and needing medication was difficult but Leanna and Lauren showed a lot of care and compassion and were very reassuring. I wouldn’t hesitate to book them again.”

“Shannon is so sweet and went totally above and beyond whilst looking after my boy (Lou the cat). She didn’t just feed him she gave him lots of cuddles, sent pictures, cleaned the litter tray and even hoovered my place! Thanks so much Shannon - you’ll be my only call next time Lou needs it. ”

About: Over 30 years of cat parenting experience previously worked in a cattery for a friend as a volunteer. Skilled in everyday routines feeding and grooming and litter maintenance. Experience with senior cats requiring extra attention.

“We booked 4 overnight stays while we were on holiday and Hannah will definitely be my 'go to' from now on! My husband and I were able to enjoy some time abroad without worrying. Hannah took great care of Zatoona, our house, sent us updates with picture every evening and even left us an amazing drawing of Zatoona! Thank you, Hannah! 😊”

“Becky is lovely. Teddy clicked with her immediately and treated her like a long lost friend. This was Becky's first visit to our house and I felt very comfortable with her. She clearly understands dogs very well and behaves in an affectionate and kind way towards them. I will definitely be in touch with Becky again.”

About: I’ve looked after so many different breeds of dog for family, friends and neighbours, including my own pug and frenchie. I’m confident in applying topics medication, grooming and bathing I work flexibly full time, working from home 4 days a week. I go on daily hour long lunchtime walks anyway, as well as being free most evenings and weekends I’m comfortable in crating and grooming pets, as well as giving them peace or cuddles when they need or want it. I think I’m quite good at recognising animals signals

About: We lost our beloved cocker spaniel earlier this year. Abi was 13.5 years old and we had her since she was a puppy…so we have experienced all the stages from high energy puppy to the later stages of patience, peace and quiet including giving the necessary oral/topical medication. Both of us grew up in households full of pets as well, so dogs have always been a part of our lives. We've also loved dog sitting for friends. We are not ready to adopt another dog yet but we miss their company very much and we would love to look after your dog. We are a couple in our mid-50s, who both work part-time from home (we are self-employed, so don’t tend to work to a schedule), which means we have the flexibility to work around the needs of your dog. We understand that different pets/owners have different requirements and are always ready to be flexible – following usual routines for walks / feeding / play time. We have a fully fenced garden where dogs can safely play and relax. We provide a home-from-home experience, allowing all dogs full access to our house so they can relax wherever they feel most comfortable (as per your instructions). If your dog prefers a crate, we have room for you to bring your own crate to give them their own cosy retreat.
“We left our dog Eddie with Rachael while we visited Amberley. Eddie has a little bit of separation anxiety when we leave him alone. Racheal took great care of him and made sure he was looked after. She sent us videos and pic updates. Recommend highly if you are looking to leave your dog in good hands.”

“From first meeting both Susan and Stephen my mind was put at ease. Both are considerate and listened to understand Terry’s do's and dont's to make the stay a pleasurable for everyone. Kept me updated and provided photos throughout. Terry returned a very happy dog with his tail wagging, which says it all. Thank you both for being so accommodating and understanding to Terry's "pawticular" requirements. It is evident you're dog lovers and Terry is looking forward to his next stay with you 😀”

“I want to thank Annabel for giving Casper a great day of daycare. He got to play with other dogs, then had a great nap which Annabel shared photos of. Thanks for taking such great care of him!”

About: I have been taking care of other peoples pets since I was 15, when I started to walk a neighbours dog, soon other neighbours asked for help with dogs, cats, rabbits and also puppy pop ins and dog sitting. Then 19 years ago I became a dog owner myself. I work from home so I began to look after friends, family and neighbours dogs. I absolutely love dogs, I treat every dog like they’re my own, even if I’ve just met them for five minutes… I am giving kisses. (only if they want them of course) I have a senior dog myself and I looked after a senior dog for a few years so I have experience in older dog care, also having raised three puppies myself so I have knowledge in puppy care. I can promise lots of love, safety, trust and of course kisses. After I walk my dogs at 6.30am… My days are for furry friends either on dog walks, pop ins and house sitting. I have a couple of regular friends but still plenty of space for new friends ☺️ I’m currently not offering boarding due to my sweet girl (elderly lady) dealing with dementia, I need her environment to be calm. House Sitting… I was a babysitter for 10 years for 5 different families, I did some over night stays during that time. I also cleaned at a couple of private houses for 2 years whilst I was studying and I have experience of being a house-sitter.. therefore I am very aware of respectful behaviour when in someone else’s house. I will not share your location or any information regarding your home with anyone. I will keep things clean and tidy up after myself. I don’t smoke or drink. I always take my shoes off. ☺️
“It has been an absolute pleasure getting to know Lily. Our nervous beagle,Bailey adores her! Lily is amazing with Bailey and I highly recommend her for both dog walks and doggie sitting 💕”

I always care to give pets the mental and physical stimulation they need, and all the cuddles and affection they deserve. I have more experience with cats than dogs, but don't let this put you off as I absolutely adore dogs, and have gone on many walks with friend's dogs! I currently work 4 days a week from Tuesday-Friday. I work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays typically and more than happy to pet-sit while working from home. I am available to pet-sit on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays. I am available for boarding from Friday evenings to Tuesday evenings. I have two friendly, indoor kittens who are very loving and affectionate, which in turn has made me a very caring and affectionate pet sitter! My flat is on the first floor and windows are all protected/cat-proofed. All wires are either secured down or tucked away, and any hazards are out of reach. I allow pets on my furniture, but I tend to use a water spray if I need them to stay away from anything, e.g. the stove or dining table. I also ensure they are fed before I am to reduce the chances of them stealing any human food. I live right on the Malvern Hills and surrounded by beautiful walking paths for your pets. It is a lovely, quiet area, perfect if your pet becomes distressed by other pets/humans.

“I was able to book Leanna at very short notice to walk my to walk my dog Teddy. It was great that she offered a meet & greet, however due to time constraints we weren’t able to fit it in, but I appreciated the offer. Leanne’s communication was excellent re: times. Leanna was lovely with Teddy who was clearly comfortable in Leanne’s company. I would definitely book Leanna again.”

About: I have always been around dogs since I was a boy, I used to be terrified of them but have grown in a deep lover of dogs. I am reliable and caring setting of hands that can be entrusted to take care of your pets. My gran over the years brought home an eceletic collection of dogs from the homeless shelter she worked in. The different dogs that came back with her have been a variety of ages, breeds, sizes and personalities. I've always been helped to look after them whether it's feeding, walking or just some belly scratches. Currently, I live with my parents and their long-term foster dog Lucky, a roundabout 3 year old, super super friendly Golden Retriever. I also helped my parents raise two rather excitable (and challenging) Beagles so if you're pet friend is a bundle of energy then I have the experience (and patience) to take care of them ✌️ Excited by the opportunity to meet more furry friends. I work from home in Drybrook, Gloucestershire on Wednesdays and work in Malvern the rest of the week. I am happy to stay over to dogsit all evenings and weekends. I can keep your dogs over weekends. I have a safe and securely fenced garden that is open and easy for your dog to access all day. They are happy to play with Lucky, a 3 year old super friendly Golden Retriever, who enjoys the company of other dogs. I am surrounded by woodland and a nearby park which are great for short or longs walks.
About: Loving Care for Your Furry Family Member, I had a dog for the first 14 years of my life in which she became blind and deaf, this meant I had to give her oral and injections to treat her, I have experience in looking after my friends and families dogs as well. Pet care is a top priority for me every day, and I'm fully available round the clock. Whether it's early morning walks, daytime play sessions, or late-night snuggles, I'm dedicated to ensuring the animals receive the love and attention they deserve whenever they need it. When caring for pets in my home, they become part of the family. With a gated garden for outdoor play and exploration, along with a spacious living room and kitchen for indoor relaxation and activities. Daily walks, interactive play sessions, and cozy nap times are all part of the routine.
“Izabela was really helpful and happy to answer all my questions. The dogs enjoyed a walk with her and came home very happy. Very refreshing to not have people put off by large breeds. Will definitely book again when needed.”

About: Growing up, I was always surrounded by dogs, helping care for and walk three medium-sized dogs at home from a young age. When I moved away for university, I missed having a dog around, so I connected with a local owner to walk their Bernese Mountain Dog cross Collie. I walked him regularly for over a year and absolutely loved building that bond. I bring that same care, patience, and attentiveness to every dog I walk and am looking forward to meeting dogs of all breeds and sizes. 😊 I am currently working on a zero-hour contract basis and looking to start working more freelance, so I am available pretty much 24/7 During drop-in visits, I strictly follow all feeding, routine, and house guidelines provided. I treat every home with complete respect, ensuring doors, windows, and gates are securely locked upon entry and exit, and keeping you updated with pictures and brief recaps after every visit so you have full peace of mind.
About: I have owned 2 dogs within my adult life, both from puppies. This means I have experience looking after puppies, training them and sticking to a routine. I have always been bought up around dogs, and my family has dogs too which I look after. I have a massive love for all dogs, regardless of their size and breed. Unfortunately my 2 dogs have passed away, leaving a massive hole in my heart and currently I am not in the position to have another… leading me to Rover to give me the opportunity to be around dogs still. I am currently working from home, so I have a lot of time to give your dog. I am available different times, for either drop in, walks, boarding or over night stays within your home. Within my house we have a big garden and lots of fields nearby, meaning I will be able to exercise your dog however works best for them. I do not have a fenced garden, but can put your dog on a long line should this be required. Otherwise I will always be present when they are outside going to the toilet.
“Andrew provided an exceptional service. He was flexible and communicative at all times and was timely for all of the dog walking appointments. Andrew was very kind and considerate given my mothers circumstances going the extra mile to accommodate changing circumstances. We would recommend Andrew unequivocally and will book him next time we need his services.”

“Rachael was great with Chester. He absolutely loved being there. When he was picked up, he was very happy and tired and slept for hours when back at home I could tell had a fun time. I will definitely be using Rachael again. Highly recommended.”

“Marina is wonderful! She was fantastic with Luna, it's obvious Marina genuinely cares about and bonds with the dogs she takes care of, so I was sure from the beginning that Luna was in safe and loving hands. Luna has separation anxiety therefore she needs lots of care and reassurance, Marina was so understanding and accommodating which was a huge comfort Marina answered any questions promptly and also she sent me lots photos and updates to let me know how Luna was getting on Luna had a great time she came home relaxed and happy 😃 I highly recommend Marina ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️ ⭐️”

“Absolutely brilliant! A great communicator, we didn't hesitate to leave the dogs with Izabella and we were right. They had a super time (they didn't want to come home!) and we would be delighted to send them for another holiday (if Izabella would have them) again.”

“We cannot recommend Lisa enough. We have never left our much loved German shepherd Daisy before, so we decided to use Lisa for doggy daycare before boarding. By the second visit Daisy was pulling to Lisa’s door and was happy to stay when we left. Both during daycare and boarding Lisa sent us many photos and detailed updates about Daisy which was really comforting to us. We will be taking Daisy back to Lisa for all our daycare / boarding needs in the future. In fact we will plan our days out / vacations around her availability!”

“EXCELLENT! Leanne and Pav took amazingly good care of Bruce. You can tell immediately upon meeting them that they are huge animal lovers. Their home is well suited for dog sitting, as they have a lovely garden in back. They even contacted us to see if it was ok to take Bruce out in the rain, because he looked hesitant. Will happily book again, and highly recommend.”
