Abi is an excellent dog sitter. Both of our dogs adore her! They were so excited when she arrived to look after them for the weekend, it was wonderful to see. I had no concerns leaving them in her care, and revived regular pictures and updates; they had a fabulous time and I'm sure Abi will become a regular in their lives whenever we are away.

Esther and her family were wonderful and couldn’t have been more accommodating. We visited Cornwall for a wedding and needed last minute care for our Cockapoo, Penny. It was our first time using Rover and Esther immediately put our minds at ease, sharing updates and pictures throughout the day. We were able to enjoy our evening knowing how cared for Penny was by such a kind and loving family. We would recommend Esther to everyone!

Hazel had a fantastic time with Tammy and was very well looked after. Tammy kept us updated with pictures, and we found that she had settled in as quickly as half an hour when we received a picture of Hazel stretched out on the sofa snoring!! This is the first time we have had someone else looking after Hazel that isn’t someone we already know and trust, but Tammy put our minds at rest straight away by offering a meet and greet to see if Hazel would feel comfortable in her care - Hazel didn’t have to think twice, and she is a very good judge of character! Tammy is a great host and I’d recommend her to anybody. Thank you Tammy for taking such good care of our fur baby ❤️

Shaun was so patient with Luna. She’s an anxious dog, super attached to her family, so it was a new experience for her. It took her a while to warm up, but she seemed very happy and content once she’d settled in. Shaun was very professional and kept me updated through regular messages and photos. It was good to see her having fun while I was away. Thanks Shaun for taking the time to settle her in and make her feel at home.

Megan’s parents Susan and Terry looked after our dog whilst we we’re in Cornwall for a wedding for a couple of days. We received great communication from Megan beforehand, she let us know she was going to be occupied that week but that Susan and Terry were available. They kept us up to date during boarding with pictures. We could tell Starbuck got a nice Cornish retreat herself and was spoiled rotten. Thank you so much. She came back with a big smile on her face. Definitely recommend them!

About: As a passionate animal enthusiast, I’m dedicated to giving every pet the love and attention they deserve. Living and working in the heart of Cornwall, I’m lucky to be surrounded by stunning beaches, countryside, and trails — the perfect setting for enriching dog walks and outdoor adventures. I provide professional, compassionate care with a focus on your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness. I never do pack walks, ensuring a calm and enjoyable experience tailored to each dog’s personality and needs. Whether it’s energetic puppies, anxious dogs, or senior pets needing gentle care, I adapt each walk or visit accordingly. As your local dog walker, sitter, and boarder, I offer flexible and personalised services including: • One-to-one or small group dog walks • Home boarding in a safe, loving environment • Pet sitting and pop-in visits for all animals I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in pet first aid — giving you total peace of mind while you’re away. I also love meeting new pets and their owners to create a custom care plan that fits perfectly with your routine. Let’s chat and see how I can help make your pet’s day a little brighter! Pet care is a core part of my daily and weekly routine — not just a job, but a lifestyle I truly love. Each day is planned around the needs of the pets I care for, whether that’s morning walks along the Cornish coast, midday pop-in visits, or evening cuddles for pets staying with me overnight. I build my schedule with plenty of time and flexibility to give every animal my full attention and care. No two days are the same, which is what I enjoy most. From active dogs needing long countryside walks, to older pets who prefer a slower pace and some quiet companionship, I make sure each pet gets the right level of care, stimulation, and love. Weekly, I also spend time checking in with pet owners, updating care plans, and continuing my learning in animal behaviour and first aid. Being fully committed to this work means pets are never an afterthought — they’re at the heart of how I organise my life. Whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs, safety, comfort, and trust are at the heart of everything I do. In My Home: I create a calm, secure, and loving environment where pets feel like part of the family. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible to reduce stress — from feeding and sleeping schedules to playtime and quiet moments. My home is pet-safe, with secure outdoor space, and I only board a small number of animals at once to ensure individual attention and a peaceful atmosphere. I also carry out careful meet-and-greets beforehand to make sure each pet is a good fit for the home environment. In the Pet Owner’s Home: When visiting or staying in a pet’s own home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own. I stick to the owner’s instructions closely, ensuring pets feel safe and relaxed in their familiar surroundings. I always take time to build trust with the animals I care for, using gentle, positive approaches to make each interaction reassuring and enjoyable. In both settings, I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in pet first aid. I keep open communication with pet owners through regular updates, photos, and check-ins — so they feel confident and reassured while they’re away.

About: I moved to Cornwall for university and soon found the passion for surfing. I now live in Cornwall and have been looking after dogs for several years now. Moving to Cornwall on my own has made me very independent, but also very flexible. Which means pet care fits easily into my day to day routine. I have a few small jobs that I can schedule around the dog sitting, so I'm able to give pets plenty of time and attention. I thrive on having a routine and living an active, healthy lifestyle. When looking after pets. I understand how important routine is, including regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention, especially as different breeds have different needs. With my active lifestyle, i genuinely enjoy walks, runs, and spending time outdoors, so keeping dogs happy and exercised comes naturally to me. When I'm caring for pets in their own home, I'm always respectful, tidy and minimal, making sure everything is kept just as the owners expect.

About: I have a real love for cats and understand that every cat has their own personality, routine and boundaries. I recently adopted a rescue cat, and it has been a lovely experience helping him settle into a new home. He is now doing really well, feeling more confident, and has even started going outside. This experience has taught me how important patience, calm energy and consistency are, especially with cats who may be shy, nervous or adjusting to change. I always respect a cat’s space and never force interaction. I can help with feeding, fresh water, litter trays, playtime, cuddles if the cat wants them, and photo updates for owners.

An absolute 5-star experience! Having recently moved to the Bodmin area, it was incredibly daunting to look for a new sitter for our beloved and pampered dog, Barley. However, meeting Terry and Susan (Megan's parents) beforehand completely put our minds at ease as they would be looking after him on the day. Barley spent the day with them yesterday whilst we attended our daughter's graduation in Exeter, and we could not have asked for better care. They looked after him brilliantly, treated him like one of the family, and sent us lovely picture updates which we really appreciated. Terry and Susan made us feel so comfortable and reassured from start to finish. Barley loved his cuddles with Terry (The Dog Whisperer). We are incredibly grateful to have found such caring, trustworthy sitters locally and will definitely be booking with them again!

It was a very last minute booking after finding it on Google but I highly recommend for your doggy! Will definitely be using her again when I come this way! Once again lovely thank you so much! Much appreciated.

We went camping in Cornwall and needed Bailey to be with someone for a day whilst we explored some of the sights which didn’t allow dogs. Lerryn was the perfect choice. She looked after Bailey so well, giving him cool walks by a waterfall and friendly experience in a cafe. He had the best time whilst we had our best time. Thank you!

We needed someone to look after our dog Mabel while we took the kids to the theme park. Georgia was very quick to reply to any questions we had before taking Mabel to her. She also kept us up to date how Mabel was doing throughout the day and sent pictures. Mabel had a great time with Georgia, she made sure to put Mabel's needs first and took her for a long walk on the beach which Mabel would of loved. Thank you so much for taking care of Mabel we will definitely be back in touch on our next trip to Cornwall.

Shaun and his family were so welcoming and looked after Melvin for the day whilst we were on holiday. Shaun was really informative and also asked us lots of questions before the day making sure Melvin was going to be well looked after. During the stay we had regular updates and photos. Melvin was very relaxed and happy at pick up and we were delighted with Shaun’s care! We would HIGHLY recommend and will certainly be booking Melvin in again when we are next back. Huge thanks!

Best of all, when Nutmeg came back for day 2, he bounded into Carly’s home like it was his own having clearly enjoyed his prior visit. Will definitely be using Carly again.

Little updates flowed throughout the day as they went of in walks and played at Leo’s home. Frank looked reluctant to leave. Would leave my little Prince with Leo any day. Thank you!

About: I have taken care dogs since I was 14, training guide dogs, including the family dog and voluntary work which led to paid work for walking neighbours dogs and at a dog kennel walking dogs and cleaning kennels. I have been dogsitting on and off for 16 years and rescued 3 dogs. I have done more regular sits since a friend from church asked me to dog sit, then I used Trustedhousitters as a sitter for 3 years and have done 12 different successful sits of which a few have been asked back, so I also know how to take care of people’s homes and multiple pets in the home. Your dogs will be happy with me and treated like family, they will have play time and rest time and I always stick to the rules that you have set for them and their meal times including what they eat. I would never feed your dog human food or over treat them or punish them. If I am sitting I would take them out for a walk in the local areas up to 3 times a day but they will have plenty of toilet breaks. If I am only walking your dog, I will keep them on the lead and go for as much time as they need. Your dog will be in safe hands with me. I am an at home full-time student, I start my last year in October and finish in May 2027. I will have time to go for dog walks anytime as I can pick my days and times to study. I cannot bring pets into my home currently as my 2 cats are the proud owners but I can meet you for a pick up or take care of a dog at your home

About: I’ve grown up around animals and have always had dogs in my life. I currently have three dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable handling different personalities, energy levels and routines. While I’m new to dog walking professionally, I’m used to daily walks, feeding routines, basic training and making sure dogs get the exercise and attention they need. I understand how important it is for owners to know their dogs are safe and well cared for. I offer one-on-one dog walks, taking dogs on local countryside routes. Walks are 30–60 minutes, giving each dog safe, supervised exercise and attention. I schedule multiple walks per day and can accommodate several dogs. I treat every dog as if they were my own. About: Hi, I'm Bella. I have always loved dogs especially sight hounds and previously owned a whippet called Poppy. I enjoy nothing better than taking a dog for a long walk on the beach or through the woods, seeing them enjoying themselves and being sleepy and relaxed after a good run. I have previously looked after greyhounds, sausage dogs, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, an Irish Wolfhound cross, Frenchie, Labrador Siberian Husky’s, Cockapoos and Cavapoos and understand all dogs and breeds have different needs & requirements to feel happy, safe, secure and loved. I love getting to know their individual personalities and understand that pets are like members of the family and treat them as I would my own dog with love, care and affection when in my care. I am able to keep pets company all day ensuring they get plenty of walks, toilet breaks and are well fed. If dogs are nervous or uncomfortable around other dogs I ensure that they are cared for one individual dog at a time. I ensure dogs are on leads unless I have guidance from their owner that they have good recall and are happy for them to be take off lead only in safe places. I can offer in home care in peoples homes or my own which has a large garden.

I have recently been looking after 2 cats in my own home but they have sadly left which has inspired me to get out there and do some more petsitting for people both in my home and theirs. I love all animals and want to help out where I can be it walking, cuddles or cleanliness. Please get in touch with the individual needs of your animal and we can work out the best plan of action to care for them in the best way possible! Also please message me if there are any extras that aren't listed as together we can more than likely find a happy way to cater for everyone! I currently don't work lots of hours so I have lots of free time for walking dogs, playing with pets and chilling for cuddles with your little fur balls! It will be in your own home depending on what is required ie walks out and about etc, we can discuss your pets individual needs

My boyfriend and I both work part time, meaning someone is always around to ensure your furry friend is never alone! We are both very active (meaning lots of W.A.L.Ks) and are always spending time outdoors, adventuring to new spots when we can. My garden is fenced, meaning lots of space for sniffing outdoors and having fun. Also living in a safe neighbourhood, evening walks are no problem!

About: I’ve had dogs all my life growing up and had 2 dogs in my adult life, both from puppies. I am used to being around high energy dogs that require a lot of attention and stimulation. I have experience with reactive dogs and dogs with behavioural issues. I have house trained many dogs overtime. I absolutely adore dogs and being in their company makes my heart happy! I work full time from home Monday- Friday with Friday afternoons off. I am available most weekends for dog boarding. My work is very relaxed so plenty of time to give your dog attention, toilet breaks and walks during my lunch breaks and after work. I live on my own in a 2 bedroom flat. I don’t have a garden but there is a shared communal garden for toilet breaks. I live a 3 minute walk from a beach and some other beautiful walks. I also drive and I’m happy to take your dog out and about on my travels. I often like to go to dog friendly cafes to read so your dog would be more than welcome to join me. I’m not worried about dogs being on my furniture etc, I want them to feel comfortable and welcome in my home. I’m happy to dog sit in your home as long as there is WiFi and a kettle for a cuppa!

What an amazing time my Sam had. I received lots of updates and pictures, and she made me feel he was in the best care. I wouldn’t hesitate in using Katie again. Exceptionally caring and made Sam part of the family for a week. ❤️

Chloe and Biddy were very helpful with a late request for weekend dog sitting. Theo and Chili had a great time sunbathing, playing in the garden and exploring the woods, and Biddy was very laid back about dealing with a cheeky 1 year old!

About: I’ve had dogs of all sizes my whole life, growing up I’ve always been keen to walk, feed, wash and care for them. I have most of my experience with boxers, French and English bulldog puppies from birth. I currently study at uni, so have lots of free time for short and longer walks, especially during holidays and weekends. I’m more than happy for any special arrangements you may need or a negotiable price to work for us both. I’m sure your dog will become comfortable and happy in my hands so you can feel safe and content with their care :) P.s much appreciated if I am able to bring my partner for longer house sits (of course we can meet prior) I’m currently studying geography at uni but have lots of availability around my schedule to walk or provide pet care, plus, my car for longer adventures! Although i am at uni and cannot care for your pet in my home, I can walk and pet sit in your own home in however ways you require
