We would highly recommend Olivia. We left our puppy Cashew for a week and we were given daily updates including photos and videos. He is a 4 month old puppy, and so has plenty of energy. Olivia spent the time with him, adding to his training . We were worried that he was having so much fun with Olivia, Max and Ripley that he would not want to return home with us. Happy to say he settled quickly once home.

Conny was wonderful, we have never left Otto with anyone before so we were worried how he would be left and the fact he is only 12 months old and can be a handful. There was no need to worry at all Conny was brilliant with him and gave him 2/3 days full of adventures! He went on loads of lovely walks, on the beach through streams and had a lovely time playing and being totally spoilt! Conny sent so many lovely photos of what Otto was doing to keep our peace of mind, I’m surprise Otto wanted to come home! I absolutely recommend Conny to anyone looking! 🐾🐾

Very happy with Herbie’s care this evening. Herbie was very nervous when we arrived and I worried that he might not settle but Laura slowly won him around with her kind and gentle approach. When we went to collect him he was clearly happy and relaxed I really appreciated the photos that Laura sent through the evening which put my mind at rest. Thankyou Laura for a positive experience.

Abi is an excellent dog sitter. Both of our dogs adore her! They were so excited when she arrived to look after them for the weekend, it was wonderful to see. I had no concerns leaving them in her care, and revived regular pictures and updates; they had a fabulous time and I'm sure Abi will become a regular in their lives whenever we are away.

About: The cat in the photo is Tiger Lily and she is technically my sister's cat but she's more just an additional member of the family and head of the house. My Cats Protection rescue, Suki, died years ago, she was old when I adopted her but we had 3 lovely years together. My cat sitting services have so far extended as far as Bristol and Hove- During the Bristol sit I was gifted a caterpillar and a long piece of grass which was a sign of acceptance according to the cat's responsible adult. And in Hove I was gifted live mice which are tricky to catch once they're in the house but the boys were clearly testing my hunting skills. Currently available 24/7 due to a slipped disc! Feel free to leave your dog with me for company during the day, although I can't take them for a walk at present, I can have them on lead in the court yard for a sniff about and a wee. I am naturally intuitive with animals and enjoy gaining their trust at their pace. Currently very restricted with services offered due to a slipped disc.

Willow had a great stay with Michelle overnight whilst we were at Eden. I met Michelle for a virtual meet and greet before booking and knew immediately that Willow would be in great hands. We came back to a very happy doggy, and it was clear she’d been really well looked after and had a lovely stay. I’d definitely recommend Michelle and wouldn’t hesitate to book with her again next time we're in the area 😊

About: I am a designer who works from home, after always having dogs I miss their company a lot. Instead of getting a dog I decided to host dogs in my house. I live in a cottage in St Austell, tucked away in a quiet part of this seaside town. I have a lovely big garden with sunshine and shade where they can play or potter about. The cottage is cool and quiet and has everything a doggy would need. Your dog will never be left alone as I work here too. I only take one dog at a time or dogs from the same household so they will have a really personal experience that will be tailored to them and their needs. There is a wealth of glorious beaches and river trails only minutes away for playtime, walks and relaxing. I try and make every day like a doggy holiday even if they are only staying a short time. I have owned dogs myself as well as having grown up with one always in the household. I had my last dog from a puppy and fully trained him, we did agility classes together too. I have also owned a rescue dog in the past who I worked closely with a trainer for to understand his body language and his needs so I do have experience with dog behaviour. I work from home during the week so your dog will have lots of 1:1 attention as I need to take regular breaks away from the screen. I always walk in the morning, lunchtime and the end of the day as a way to get outdoors and it’s such a treat to do that alongside a doggy friend. I can offer a pet free, smoke free house with a fenced in garden. Please do bring anything your dog likes along to make them comfortable, maybe a bed and some favourite toys for playtime

We were able to relax and be dog-free for 24 hours knowing that Dex was in good hands. Thank you so much Callan!

Shaun was so patient with Luna. She’s an anxious dog, super attached to her family, so it was a new experience for her. It took her a while to warm up, but she seemed very happy and content once she’d settled in. Shaun was very professional and kept me updated through regular messages and photos. It was good to see her having fun while I was away. Thanks Shaun for taking the time to settle her in and make her feel at home.

About: I have always had dogs in my Mothers home in Hastings. I have looked after family and friends dogs too. I have enjoyed training dogs- its so rewarding. I love walking in forests and on the nearby Par beach (5 Mins.) I keep away from traffic where possible. I miss our pet dog, Daisy of 16 years of age but I have fantastic memories & photos to cherish. Locally I have looked after 4 or 5 dogs over the last 2-3 years. I look forward to providing a home from home for your dog, with plenty of cuddles. FYI- There is a new Vetinary clinic 5 mins walk from my home, incase of emergency. I am 5 minutes walk from a dog friendly beach. I love to walk every day. I have several parks and public coastal paths to choose from. It's nice to have some snacks on hand as a reward (by agreement with your dogs requirements.) I live in a single storey detached bungalow with a rear garden, which has solid boundary walls - so escape proof. I will ensure that your dog is kept occupied, with toys and we will go on regular walks in the area, keeping away from traffic. I will feed your dog in accordance with your instructions. This will be a home from home, with lots of cuddles. Look forward to meeting you & your dog. I shall keep in regular contact during the stay.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs all my life and have hands‑on experience with a wide range of personalities and needs. At home we have a 10‑year‑old who we’ve raised from a puppy, as well as a rescue dog who joined our family later on, so I’m used to supporting both confident, settled dogs and those who need a gentler, more patient approach. Caring for dogs has always been part of daily life for me, and that experience shapes the calm, reliable and attentive care I offer through Meadow Mutts. Dog care is my full‑time focus, and it fits naturally into my daily routine. I’m home throughout the day for walks, visits, playtime and settling dogs in. Our own dogs are part of our everyday rhythm, and welcoming guest dogs into that routine feels completely natural. Whether it’s weekday walks, daytime care or overnight stays, I’m able to give dogs plenty of attention, consistency and company. Your dog’s safety and comfort always come first. Our home is calm, secure and set up for dogs to relax, with safe enclosed areas and plenty of space to settle in. I supervise dogs closely, follow their usual routines and take time to understand their needs, whether they’re confident, nervous or somewhere in between. With our own well‑mannered dogs and a peaceful rural setting, visiting dogs enjoy a safe, steady environment where they can feel completely at ease.

Sacha and her family were so welcoming and accommodating given the short notice in arranging my booking. They were thoughtful and went above and beyond what I could have expected. Regular walks each day through to her husband sleeping downstairs with Truff during the first night when he was still clearly agitated and restless exempify the care and consideration shown. Sacha and her family were unfussy about their floors getting dirty from his muddy paws after walks and allowed Truff to cuddle up on the chairs, sofa and beds. None of her house or garden were out-of-bounds to him. I will definitely use Sacha again, if timings work out; particularly now that Truff has become so settled and content in her rural, family home.

About: I have a real love for cats and understand that every cat has their own personality, routine and boundaries. I recently adopted a rescue cat, and it has been a lovely experience helping him settle into a new home. He is now doing really well, feeling more confident, and has even started going outside. This experience has taught me how important patience, calm energy and consistency are, especially with cats who may be shy, nervous or adjusting to change. I always respect a cat’s space and never force interaction. I can help with feeding, fresh water, litter trays, playtime, cuddles if the cat wants them, and photo updates for owners.

About: I moved to Cornwall for university and soon found the passion for surfing. I now live in Cornwall and have been looking after dogs for several years now. Moving to Cornwall on my own has made me very independent, but also very flexible. Which means pet care fits easily into my day to day routine. I have a few small jobs that I can schedule around the dog sitting, so I'm able to give pets plenty of time and attention. I thrive on having a routine and living an active, healthy lifestyle. When looking after pets. I understand how important routine is, including regular walks, playtime, and plenty of attention, especially as different breeds have different needs. With my active lifestyle, i genuinely enjoy walks, runs, and spending time outdoors, so keeping dogs happy and exercised comes naturally to me. When I'm caring for pets in their own home, I'm always respectful, tidy and minimal, making sure everything is kept just as the owners expect.

About: As a passionate animal enthusiast, I’m dedicated to giving every pet the love and attention they deserve. Living and working in the heart of Cornwall, I’m lucky to be surrounded by stunning beaches, countryside, and trails — the perfect setting for enriching dog walks and outdoor adventures. I provide professional, compassionate care with a focus on your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness. I never do pack walks, ensuring a calm and enjoyable experience tailored to each dog’s personality and needs. Whether it’s energetic puppies, anxious dogs, or senior pets needing gentle care, I adapt each walk or visit accordingly. As your local dog walker, sitter, and boarder, I offer flexible and personalised services including: • One-to-one or small group dog walks • Home boarding in a safe, loving environment • Pet sitting and pop-in visits for all animals I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in pet first aid — giving you total peace of mind while you’re away. I also love meeting new pets and their owners to create a custom care plan that fits perfectly with your routine. Let’s chat and see how I can help make your pet’s day a little brighter! Pet care is a core part of my daily and weekly routine — not just a job, but a lifestyle I truly love. Each day is planned around the needs of the pets I care for, whether that’s morning walks along the Cornish coast, midday pop-in visits, or evening cuddles for pets staying with me overnight. I build my schedule with plenty of time and flexibility to give every animal my full attention and care. No two days are the same, which is what I enjoy most. From active dogs needing long countryside walks, to older pets who prefer a slower pace and some quiet companionship, I make sure each pet gets the right level of care, stimulation, and love. Weekly, I also spend time checking in with pet owners, updating care plans, and continuing my learning in animal behaviour and first aid. Being fully committed to this work means pets are never an afterthought — they’re at the heart of how I organise my life. Whether pets are staying in my home or I’m caring for them in theirs, safety, comfort, and trust are at the heart of everything I do. In My Home: I create a calm, secure, and loving environment where pets feel like part of the family. I follow their usual routines as closely as possible to reduce stress — from feeding and sleeping schedules to playtime and quiet moments. My home is pet-safe, with secure outdoor space, and I only board a small number of animals at once to ensure individual attention and a peaceful atmosphere. I also carry out careful meet-and-greets beforehand to make sure each pet is a good fit for the home environment. In the Pet Owner’s Home: When visiting or staying in a pet’s own home, I treat it with the same care and respect I would my own. I stick to the owner’s instructions closely, ensuring pets feel safe and relaxed in their familiar surroundings. I always take time to build trust with the animals I care for, using gentle, positive approaches to make each interaction reassuring and enjoyable. In both settings, I’m fully insured, DBS checked, and trained in pet first aid. I keep open communication with pet owners through regular updates, photos, and check-ins — so they feel confident and reassured while they’re away.

Liv is absolutely incredible, we are so lucky to have found her for looking after Arlo. We needed a sitter last minute for Arlo and Liv was able to have him for the day. She is so brilliant with him, and her dog Ripley is incredibly tolerant and kind with my very playful and can be annoying dog! We have booked Liv already for our holiday and weekend away this year, Arlo is so happy there and we get lots of lovely videos of him playing and snuggling up for a nap! Would 100% recommend Liv, Max and Ripley, we are so glad we found them.

Conny is just fantastic and all the reviews saying how great she is with your dog and keeping you posted are just accurate ? we aren't locals so this let us enjoy our anniversary meal while not worrying about our dog. Thank you again Conny!

An absolute 5-star experience! Having recently moved to the Bodmin area, it was incredibly daunting to look for a new sitter for our beloved and pampered dog, Barley. However, meeting Terry and Susan (Megan's parents) beforehand completely put our minds at ease as they would be looking after him on the day. Barley spent the day with them yesterday whilst we attended our daughter's graduation in Exeter, and we could not have asked for better care. They looked after him brilliantly, treated him like one of the family, and sent us lovely picture updates which we really appreciated. Terry and Susan made us feel so comfortable and reassured from start to finish. Barley loved his cuddles with Terry (The Dog Whisperer). We are incredibly grateful to have found such caring, trustworthy sitters locally and will definitely be booking with them again!

Abigail has been amazing with our 2 dogs. Ella is people reactive in the home and Abigail spent time getting to know her and making her feel safe. They are now the best of friends and I feel so relaxed leaving them both with Abigail, knowing they are happy and well cared for. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Abigail to anyone.

Kristina was brilliant - kindly looking after Sheila while she was on heat (and not taking any other bookings as a result). Kristina sent through photos of Sheila enjoying her day walking with some other dogs and having some well earned rest at Kristina’s house. I felt very comfortable leaving Sheila with Kristina - she is very knowledgable and kind.

Very happy overall, after not knowing this was such a thing and how easy it was to book someone we are glad we found Tammy, she was very helpful and helped look after our boy whilst we went and visited St Ives and paradise park for the day as it’s a hot day we definitely didn’t want to leave him on he’s own! It was a very last minute booking after finding it on Google but I highly recommend for your doggy! Will definitely be using her again when I come this way! Once again lovely thank you so much! Chelle was an absolute dream to have as a dog sitter - we got to do a virtual meet beforehand of the humans and dogs, I got updates, photos and videos throughout the day which was so reassuring and I came back to a very hapoy dog. Very clear that Chelle knows what she is doing and cares about the pups. Will definitely be looking to book in again when I'm down :D

Was down in Newquay for a SUP Surf camp and as weather pretty warm wanted a dog sitter for during the day. Luckily Harriet was free, Agatha loved her time there, (was whining with excitement on the 2nd day as we turned down to the house). Harriet was flexible on the timings, when I ran a bit later than planned the 2nd day. Agatha had a good walk along with a chill on the sofa, would highly recommend and use again if I’m down in Newquay.

About: I have taken care dogs since I was 14, training guide dogs, including the family dog and voluntary work which led to paid work at a dog kennel walking dogs and cleaning kennels. I have been dogsitting on and off for 16 years and rescued 3 dogs. I have done more regular sits since a friend from church asked me to dog sit, then I used Trustedhousitters as a sitter for 3 years and have done 12 successful sits of which a few have been asked back, so I also know how to take care in people’s homes and multiple pets in the home. Your dogs will be happy with me and treated like one of the family, they will have play time and rest time and I always stick to the rules that you have set for them and their meal times including what they eat. I would never feed your dog human food or over treat them or punish them. I would also love to take them out for a walk in the local areas up to 3 times a day but they will have plenty of toilet breaks. If I am only walking your dog, I will keep them on the lead and go for as much time as they need. Your dog will be in safe hands with me. I am an at home full-time student, I start my last year in October and finish in May 2027. I will have time to go for dog walks anytime as I can pick my days and times to study. I cannot bring pets into my home currently as my 2 cats are the proud owners but I can meet you for a pick up or take care of a dog at your home

About: Hi, I'm Bella. I have always loved dogs especially sight hounds and previously owned a whippet called Poppy. I enjoy nothing better than taking a dog for a long walk on the beach or through the woods, seeing them enjoying themselves and being sleepy and relaxed after a good run. I have previously looked after greyhounds, sausage dogs, Italian Greyhounds, Whippets, an Irish Wolfhound cross, Frenchie, Labrador Siberian Husky’s, Cockapoos and Cavapoos and understand all dogs and breeds have different needs & requirements to feel happy, safe, secure and loved. I love getting to know their individual personalities and understand that pets are like members of the family and treat them as I would my own dog with love, care and affection when in my care. I am able to keep pets company all day ensuring they get plenty of walks, toilet breaks and are well fed. If dogs are nervous or uncomfortable around other dogs I ensure that they are cared for one individual dog at a time. I ensure dogs are on leads unless I have guidance from their owner that they have good recall and are happy for them to be take off lead only in safe places. I can offer in home care in peoples homes or my own which has a large garden.

I honestly can’t say enough about how wonderful Jennie and her family are at caring for Nelly. It was like a home away from home for her and we are so delighted to have found someone local to care for Nelly so well. We had lots of photos and updates which was reassuring. Thank you so much again!

About: I’ve grown up with pets since I was 5, and they were a huge part of my life! We bred our Bernese mountain dog and weaned 5 puppies, which was a gorgeous time and means I have experience with new born puppies, as well as big dogs. I am extremely reliable and have a great understanding of looking after dogs. Whilst I am not yet ready to commit to owning my own dog, I would love the opportunity to spend time and bond with someone else’s dog - dogs deliver the best endorphins! I work remotely 3 days a week so would be available to look after your dog within my work schedule. We have a big garden out the back of the house and lots of nice areas to walk around when we have breaks! Our home is super safe and secure, in a friendly set of flats. We have space for a bed or a crate if your dog required any extra facilities

Reg had the best time and Hannah and her family were so lovely. Their dog was also super friendly and Reggie seemed to love her too. Hannah sent lots of pictures and gave lots of updates which were great and if I were in Newquay again I would definitely get back in touch - thanks so much!

Best dog sitter I could have asked for, accepted a late notice request and has been absolutely amazing with my girl. She’s had the best time she could have, kristina is amazing with animals and makes sure to take top care of them🩷 will definitely feel comfortable about my girl coming to kristinas again🩷

I was worried about Winston going away as he rarely goes anywhere. Mark and Fee allowed us to visit first and made me feel far more relaxed and reassured. Winston was more than happy to stay with them and calm and happy when we picked him up. They updated me to let me know he was ok. Highly recommended, thanks Mark

George was an amazing dog sitter! He was reliable, kind, and clearly loves animals. My dog was happy, well cared for, and comfortable the entire time, which gave me real peace of mind. George kept me updated and treated my dog like his own. I would absolutely recommend him to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring sitter, and I’ll definitely be booking him again.

We had Pip watch our 14 year old cockapoo, Charlie, for a week while we were on a trip. Charlie can be a bit reactive, so we wanted to meet with Pip beforehand to ensure everything would go smoothly, and from the first minute we saw Charlie and Pip together we knew it would go perfectly! Pip was so good at sending lots of updates and keeping to Charlie's schedule. We could tell Charlie had a great time with Pip, and we had our minds eased the whole time we were away. We would absolutely recommend Pip!
