He always looked like he was having the best time. He got to play with their dog Mala who is super friendly. I would 100% recommend Talita to anyone who is nervous about leaving their dog, we met up a couple times before I left him so we could get to know each other and for Douglas to become familiar with them and their home. He was happy to see me when I collected but quickly picked up toys and went back to playing with them whilst we spoke about his week. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and love animals (unless they are rodents!) Ive had experience from 5 week old pups all the way to caring for dogs in their senior years, giving medication, insulin injections etc. After losing our beloved 16 year old Patterdale last year, it’s left a big hole and as much as we don’t feel ready to bring another dog into our lives just yet, I’m certainly missing my dog fix. My dog came before everything - just ask my husband! 🤣 And I will treat yours no different. We are an early rising household so you can drop off as early as you like. We are an active house. I work from home so generally will be able to accommodate walks and feeding at their usual times so not to disrupt their routines. There will be times when I need to go out so a dog that is happy to be left for a couple of hours would fit in nicely but if this isn’t possible I can probably work around it with some notice. Daycare and overnight boarding is available and we are central Yeovil based and easy to find. We have a reasonable size garden with grass and patio, with a mix of sun and shade. The garden is fully secure. Within walking distance of the house there is a small field, a park and plenty of pavement walks. Ham Hill Country Park is only a short drive away so if you’d like them walked here your dog will need to be crate trained for the car journey. All walks will be done on a lead for all of our peace of mind! Inside the house it’s open plan living so your dog will have the run of the ground floor with the exception of my treatment room. The upstairs will remain out of bounds.

About: I've had pets all my life from. From the time I could walk, I've taken care of our family Golden retriever, later on my adorable Patterjack terrier, and now Lurcher and Belgian shepherd. That's been alongside 3 ponies / horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, 5 cats and a bird. My two dogs (Lurcher and shepherd) are incredibly friendly and playful and we have regular doggie visitors including my sister's Segugio 'Bobby' and family friend Cocker Spaniel 'Lottie'. So my offer to you is that if you have a dog who is friendly, playful, and likes the company of other dogs, they will be very welcome here! I'm recently retired so have very few commitments and am available to look after dogs most of the time. I take my two dogs out for country walks daily and could take yours too. I have a fenced garden and two friendly dogs to keep your dog company. They can all play together if you wish, but if not, I can separate them, putting your dog in the living room - I'd rather they played together if possible though.

About: I’ve had spaniels the best part of my life, currently sharing a house with a 2 year old sprocker called Mylo. Firefighters as my full time job so have a good amount of time to take dogs for walks when on my days off! I work a 2-2-4 pattern, so 2 days, 2 nights, 4 off, so have ample time to fit in dog walks around my shift pattern. Fully enclosed large garden for dogs to play in, am able to walk dogs alongside my spaniel Mylo. Happy to keep on lead if that is what the owner requests.

About: I've taken care of all types of dogs from the age of 18, looking after my parents small dogs (Cavaliers) and large dogs (standard poodles) for months at a time when they would go on holiday. I have carried numerous dog / house sits for friends and family, ranging from small to big dogs, puppies and cats. About: I’ve always taken care of the pets of my friends, family and neighbours and have recently been using the borrow-my-doggy app to help look after the dogs of locals on a volunteering basis. This has included walking the dogs and having them overnight, with one client saying she teared up because of how helpful I was! I currently have no fixed working hours, so I am completely flexible! I can be a morning person or night owl depending on your pet, in order to adapt to their schedule in the most convenient way possible for you and them. I have a spacious area with 3 rooms and an open plan layout as well as stairs to allow your pet space to roam and run free, before heading out to the many amazing walking areas right in front of the gated property I live in. I have dog toys from when I looked after previous dogs and food/water bowls suitable for both dogs and cats. There’s never anything sharp or dangerous or in the way on the tidy floor of my house, making it the perfect place for your pet to roll around or play-fight, or just to rest after we’ve walked, played, cuddled, trained.. whatever your pet wants:)
