About: I’ve grown up with dogs, cats, guinea pigs, rats and hamsters! I’ve had 24 years experience with these gorgeous animals and I’m very passionate about patient and loving animal care. I am a a medical professional in the military. I pet sit over my extensive leave periods. I’m very adaptable and efficient with instructions, and actively prepared to fit my routines around my pet sitting so your pet has the best time! My own Cavapoo Mabel is very gentle and fun. She is crate trained and is very friendly towards all animals and people. She can however be separated from animals I pet sit depending on the owner’s preferences.

About: Hi, I'm a dedicated dog lover who works from home, which means your pet will enjoy plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I share my home with two friendly Labrador Retrievers who love making new canine friends, as well as a calm rescue cat who is used to living alongside dogs. I also have a responsible 17-year-old daughter who adores animals and helps create a warm, welcoming environment for every pet that stays with us. Because I work from home, I can maintain your dog's usual routine, provide regular walks, playtime, cuddles, and plenty of toilet breaks. I understand that every dog is unique, and I'm happy to accommodate individual needs, whether that's extra exercise, medication, or simply lots of affection and reassurance. My goal is to make your dog feel safe, happy, and part of the family while you're away, giving you complete peace of mind. I look forward to meeting you and your furry friend! **What to Expect During Your Dog's Stay** As I work from home, your dog will have company and supervision throughout most of the day. **Morning** * Morning toilet break and walk * Breakfast (following your dog's usual routine) * Playtime, enrichment, and plenty of attention **Daytime** * Relaxing with me while I work from home * Regular garden breaks and opportunities to stretch their legs * Playtime with my two friendly Labradors if your dog enjoys canine company * Quiet rest periods for naps and relaxation **Afternoon & Evening** * Another walk tailored to your dog's age and energy levels * Dinner according to their normal schedule * Family time, cuddles, and settling down for the evening I aim to keep your dog's routine as close as possible to what they're used to at home. I'll also send regular updates and photos so you can see how they're getting on and enjoy peace of mind while you're away. **Safety, Trust & Environment** Creating a safe, happy, and stress-free environment is at the heart of the care I provide. As I work from home, pets are rarely left alone and receive plenty of attention, supervision, and companionship throughout the day. My home is shared with two friendly Labradors and a rescue cat who are both accustomed to living alongside other animals. I take time to introduce pets carefully and ensure everyone feels comfortable and secure. There are quiet spaces available for dogs who prefer their own area to rest and relax. Before every stay, I like to learn about your pet's routine, personality, likes and dislikes, medical needs, and any behavioural quirks so I can provide care tailored to them. I follow owners' instructions closely, including feeding schedules, exercise requirements, medication, and sleeping arrangements. For dogs staying in my home, they will enjoy regular walks, garden breaks, playtime, enrichment activities, and lots of affection. As someone who works from home, I can maintain a consistent routine and provide frequent updates and photos for your peace of mind. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I treat both the pet and the property with the utmost respect. I aim to keep your pet's routine as normal as possible, ensuring they feel safe and comfortable in their familiar surroundings while you're away. My goal is always to provide a genuine home-from-home experience where pets feel loved, secure, and part of the family.

About: I grew up on a dairy farm with all kinds of animals and domestic pets and have had a lifelong love of dogs. I was trusted to look after pets for other people from an early age and regularly look after the dogs of friends, neighbours and work colleagues. I absolutely walking and my morning and evening walks are always the highlight of my day. I am currently working full time in a school five minutes from home, and walk my dog every morning before school and in the afternoon after school. I live in the beautiful Dorset countryside and have some wonderful varied woodland walks on my doorstep. At weekends I usually take dogs to the beach, always the highlight of the week! I am off work for half terms and school holidays and love being able to spend more time looking after pets. I have a fenced garden with room to play and run around and a super friendly cockapoo called Paddington who adores the company of other dogs. I stick to a routine of regular feeding times, two walks every day and regular play time and cuddle time! I will work to the routine of your dog to make them feel safe and welcomed.

Kate looked after Olive and Martin for a week and was amazing from start to finish! We had a meetup before the booking to have a chat and see if it would be a good fit for them to stay and I instantly felt it was the right home for them whilst I was away. Kate kept in regular contact and I had lovely photos showing my doggies looking very happy. They were treated like part of the family with top notch care. Would not hesitate to recommend and will be booking again for sure myself...thankyou so much Kate!

This was our first time using Rover as our usual house sitter was not available and was unsure whether this way would be suitable or not. The first person we saw on here was Barbara who instantly felt would be a good match for our little Bertie and had high hopes. When Barbara invited us to come and meet her any hesitancy instantly disappeared and definitely had no concerns about leaving him. You just know when someone is a doggy person or not and could just sense any dog left in Barbara’s care would certainly be well looked after. When collecting him yesterday, I felt he enjoyed himself that much that he didn’t want to leave. I am so happy that Bertie has had a great stay and been very well looked after and have no doubts at all that Barbara is the perfect person to look after our Bertie. Just looking at dates when he can stay again and the only downside to all these good reviews is she will get booked up even quicker!

Addie was lovely and I would highly recommend her. Sadly my 10 month old Springer was quite a handful and Very hyperactive and certainly not on his best behaviour. Also Addie did not have the space that Otis is used to and I feel this exacerbated his stress levels and caused him to have accidents which does not happen at home. Addie has already let me know she would not look after Otis again and I totally understand this. I would still highly recommend Addie as her communication and experience were so good and I know she worked hard on making Otis enjoy his stay. Finally once again I would highly recommend Addie but not for my Springer. Back to training class for us I think. Thank you Addie for all you did, you were amazing xx

Agata was great looking after our dog Bella for the night whilst we had a wedding nearby. We had a video call ahead and chatted and got to know each other. Bella was a bit anxious but Agata was very thoughtful in doing things to help her settle, taking her on trips nearby and reinforcing with treats. We had photos throughout and stayed in touch regularly.

About: I’m a massive animal lover and am a proud owner of two gorgeous cats, Ruby and Oscar - both previously from unkind homes but now thriving, and a lovely senior rescue dog from Bulgaria named Rosa who was also previously mistreated. Rosa is dog mad any time she sees one she breaks out of her anxious shell that her past has given her and is very happy straight away. The cats are also fairly used to dogs as we’ve fostered a very bouncy collie shepherd rescue before as well as a Labrador puppy. I think Ruby occasionally thinks she is a dog and will sometimes try to play with them whereas Oscar is a little more skittish. We live around lots of cats so they’re not bothered by them! We've also had or looked after small animals such as guinea pigs, rats, hamsters and have minor experience with reptiles & insects like bearded dragon and stick insects and am happy to care for any animal with the right instructions!

About: I am a huge animal lover and always have been. I had very understanding parents as a child so have experience of most domestic animals. I currently have my own little menagerie including a pony, two dogs, a cat and chickens. I have experience of all ages of dogs from very young puppies to dogs in their twilight years. I try to be as flexible as possible but do fit my Rover commitments in alongside teaching part time and caring for my own menagerie. I have recently moved to the Bridport area from London, where I previously walked dogs in my local area. I offer half hourly and hourly walks and have my own transport. In addition to dog walking I am able to offer a limited number of doggy day care slots and also drop in house visits/holiday cover for dogs, cats and smaller pets. I can feed, change litter trays and give lots of cuddles and playtime so your pet is happy and content whilst you are away. Prior to taking on a new client I like to offer a free meet & greet session so we can all get to know each other and I can have a detailed conversation with you about your pets requirements. If you have booked drop in visits I’ll ask you to show me where everything is that I will need to care for your pet when I visit.

About: Martyn and I miss having dogs in our lives and their positive impact on our daily activities. Our own family dogs (now no longer with us) were companions on our many day trips and lengthy camper van holidays in the UK and abroad. We raised and trained them from puppies to their senior years, meeting their changing needs as the years rolled by. We both retired early and will be able to meet your pets needs in terms of activity and human companionship. Your dog will be walked twice a day, or as per your instructions and will have the run of our bungalow and fenced garden. We would expect to take your dog out on errands and day trips if that is what your dog would like and we live close to the beach and countryside for walks. Our home has no other pets or any children living with us Your dog will be part of our family during their stay with us. The bungalow is warm in the winter, with many shady spots in the summer, and the garden fence is high and secure. Your dog will have a permanent designated space for water, food and bed and will be fed on time, according to your instructions. We are very digitally competent and will send you regular photos and written messages. If we are caring for your dog in your home, we will be careful with security and will update you on how they are doing without you. In all cases, we will alert any dog owner to any welfare concerns. We prefer to walk dogs on leads until we are certain your dog has attached to us and will safely return and while we don’t want dogs on our furniture and beds, they get all the cuddles they need when we sit and play with them on the floor. We are happy to discuss any of your concerns.

Dolly had an amazing time with Kate today. And Kate stopped us worrying by sending photos of what Dolly was up to. Thank you so much Kate for keeping her safe and happy. She has retired to bed exhausted. 🤣

About: Love being around dogs, big or small! Have two dachshunds of my own and I love how all dogs have different characters! Playing with them and interacting I currently work 8-6. Thursdays Saturdays and Sundays off.. if during the week they would have to be ok with being left. Weekends I can be there most if not all day I give your pets my full attention, to whatever there needs require! I like to keep them entertained and burn off some of that energy they may have!

Holly is fantastic. She took time to get to know Emma's preferences and is clearly very caring and considerate. She was happy to maintain the consistency in Emma's training (she was only 4 months old for her first trial stay) Whilst also making Emma feel immediately relaxed and settled. I highly recommend Holly and I know Emma is looking forward to her next stay! Thank you

Elissia was great with our 2 year old (slightly excitable) Australian Kelpie! Booked in a little last minute but had plenty of fast and quick communications. It's the first time we've left our dog with anyone other than friends or family and would be happy to use Elissia again for Doggy Day Care or Boarding. Enjoyed the photo updates from his stay Thanks again!

About: DBS Checked | Fully Insured | Driving Licence | Own Vehicle | 5 Years Animal Rescue Volunteering | Right to Work in the UK I have been surrounded by animals since early childhood and have always cared for both dogs and cats. Throughout my life, I’ve lived with one, two, and sometimes even three dogs at the same time of different breeds, sizes, ages, and temperaments, so I understand that every pet has their own personality and needs. I have completed basic dog training courses and spent 10 years volunteering at a dog and cat shelter, where I gained valuable experience caring for animals, supporting rescues, and helping with adoption processes. I am confident handling both small and large dogs and can comfortably walk multiple dogs at once in a safe and calm manner. I genuinely love spending time with animals — whether that’s going for long walks, playing, providing companionship, or simply making them feel safe and comfortable while their owners are away. I am patient, attentive, and reliable, and I always make sure pets receive plenty of care, affection, exercise, and attention. I understand how important trust is when leaving your pet with someone else, and I will always treat your pets as if they were my own. I would be delighted to help care for your furry family members. I am currently not working, which means I can fully dedicate my time and attention to caring for pets. I have a very flexible schedule and am available throughout the week, including weekends, for walks, drop-ins, daycare, or overnight care. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I would love to make pet care my long-term profession. In the near future, I am planning to take professional canine behaviour and dog training courses to further improve my knowledge and skills as a future dog trainer. I always make sure pets receive plenty of attention, exercise, playtime, and companionship, while following their usual routines to help them feel comfortable and secure. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness will always be my top priorities. I understand how important it is for owners to feel confident and relaxed when leaving their pets in someone else’s care, so I always provide a calm, caring, and reliable environment. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, walking routines, medication, training, and any special requirements. I have experience with dogs of different sizes, breeds, ages, and temperaments, including energetic dogs, shy pets, and senior animals. During walks, I stay attentive and safety-conscious at all times, and I am comfortable handling multiple dogs when needed. I also make sure pets receive regular updates, photos, and communication so owners can feel reassured while they are away. I treat every animal with patience, kindness, and respect, as if they were my own.

I’m really happy with Tianna's help walking Vixen . She went out of her way to assist, even though it was a bit far for her this time. Tianna suggested day care as a better option for socialisation, which shows how much she cares about what’s best for the dogs. Nala, Tianna's dog, is already used to being around other dogs, so this was perfect. I would definitely use Tianna’s services again—she’s thoughtful, professional, and clearly loves what she does!

About: I am a massive dog lover! I feel as though I care for all animals as if they’re my own. Since having Obi (my dog) my love for dogs has grown even more and feel as though introducing myself and Obi to new dogs will grow my love further. I feel as though i’m responsible and reliable and am very communicative in terms of ease in booking as well as if any issues were to arise. I work part time so on arranged days will be able to spend lots of time with a pet in my care. With Obi I enjoy taking him to the beach playing fetch and he adores swimming for sticks! Despite getting Obi in my early teens, i’ve always been surrounded by animals. I’ve always had an adoration for dogs and have always craved seeing relatives dogs to play with and walk. Even though i do work part time, both jobs are very nearby and other family members are likely to be home if i’m not around, again though this can be discussed further and organised acquiring to specific days for care. Obi is a very well behaved dog but our garden is suitable to ensure dog is contained in safe environment. Also in terms of the house, safety for Obi is a priority!

About: I’ve taken care of many family dogs since I was 8. Also own and have experience with cats . I’ve worked in stables with a variety of animals. Also studied animal care at Bridgwater college. Despite working full-time, I prioritise pet care by building it into my daily routine. I’m highly organized and ensure pets receive the attention they need, whether it’s scheduling walks or feedings before and after work or dedicating quality time on my days off. I find caring for animals to be a fulfilling part of my life, and I’m committed to maintaining their routines, ensuring they’re comfortable, happy, and well cared for no matter how busy my schedule gets. In the Pet Owner’s Home When caring for pets in their own home, I respect their space and maintain their established routines to minimize disruption. I provide companionship, ensure feeding schedules are followed, and keep their living areas tidy. About: I’m a massive animal lover and am a proud owner of two gorgeous cats, Ruby and Oscar- both adopted from unkind homes (Oscar was terrified to begin with and would pee everywhere for months and Ruby was hissing constantly & very scared. Now Oscar’s toileting troubles are under control and he’s growing in confidence day by day and Ruby is the most outgoing friendly cat I’ve ever met introduces herself to all!), and a lovely senior rescue dog from Bulgaria named Rosa. Rosa is dog mad gets so happy any time she sees one she breaks out of her anxious shell that her past has given her (she was previously used for breeding in Bulgaria kept on a chain and then dumped on a rubbish pile once they found out she had a mammary tumour poor thing). The cats are also fairly used to dogs as we’ve fostered a very bouncy collie shepherd rescue before as well as a Labrador puppy. We've also had or looked after small animals such as guinea pigs (I’ve had up to 30 in total but don’t anymore, used to rescue them) , rats (have only had female rats personally), hamsters (Syrians and Russian dwarfs) and have minor experience with reptiles & insects like bearded dragon and stick insects and am happy to care for any animal with the right instructions! I’m capable of bathing any pet that requires it, I can also carry out nail trims for guinea pigs as this is something I had to do a lot when I was rescuing them. I usually work in an early years setting with young children but during the holidays off all I’m doing is planning for my wedding (exciting I know!!) so have plenty of time to care for any pet that needs it! I’m happy to take on multiple and can come to your home if needed but due to my own pets I’d rather it be my own home however this is something I’m more than happy to discuss! I love walking and playing with dogs and cats too! Big or small doesn’t bother me! I have a fully enclosed fenced back garden to keep your pet safe. I have a two calm yet playful dogs and two cats to keep your pet company. I’m happy to adapt to your pet whatever their needs are. I live near the honiton bottom estuary so they’re are plenty of nice walks and am familiar with many areas in Devon and Cornwall! I’m pretty flexible at the moment but rest assured whatever is decided all I want just like you is for your pet to feel safe and comfortable and you feel at ease about it. More than happy to arrange meet and greets to get to know each other or go on dog walks together previously.

About: I LOVE animals! I have always been an animal lover from a very young age and have had dogs in my home! I love both cats and dogs and am a very respectful, responsible young lady who understands the stress when going away to find someone you feel comfortable and happy with in your home! I have a sprokerpoo called Ernie, and we’ve recently had this issue! I work from home with my own business in social media management, so I thought why not offer pet sitting and other services! I also have qualifications in teaching and elderly care so I am an overall compassionate and loving person! As I work from home (or anywhere with internet) I can virtually be free most of the time to pet sit! I drive and am happy to travel to you for petrol fees! If anyone has any questions you can always message! I am very eager to meet, play with and love your pets just as much as you do 🤍 I work for myself, so I choose my own hours! If you have internet in your home (if I’m house sitting) your pet friends will have a companion all day everyday for as long as you need! Working from home means I have availability to walk and drop in to see your little darlings too! In my home, I have a fully enclosed garden and have to make sure everything is put away! (Shoes are my puppy’s favourite!) I am very aware of my surroundings with my dog and what is safe for him to eat/not eat! I work full time for myself from home so this allows me a large amount of flexibility regarding my routine. This is a huge benefit to pet owners I help as I can work around your schedule/your pets schedule at ease! If I have any work calls whilst at your home I will let you know timings in advance, but this will not impact your pet sitting/daycare experience in any way! If your pet is coming to my home. He/she will be safe at all times. I won’t leave your pet if that’s what you require and make sure they are safe and well looked after at all times!

Christine and her husband are lovely. She looked after my rescue dog at short notice and he really enjoyed himself. I would use her again without question. Thank you both.
