“Nick was absolutely brilliant with Heidi, our German Shepherd, during her week-long stay. He clearly understood the breed and was patient, calm and really friendly with her. Heidi had only recently been spayed, so we needed someone who would be mindful and gentle with her, and Nick — along with his two lovely dogs — was exactly that. It did Heidi so much good to spend time around dogs who don’t share her anxiety, and she settled really well. Nick was a great communicator throughout, positive, reassuring, friendly and just a genuinely lovely person. Heidi thought he was brilliant, and it was fantastic for me knowing she was so well cared for. I would happily send her back tomorrow and will definitely use Nick for any future stays.”

About: Love being around dogs, big or small! Have two dachshunds of my own and I love how all dogs have different characters! Playing with them and interacting I currently work 8-6. Thursdays Saturdays and Sundays off.. if during the week they would have to be ok with being left. Weekends I can be there most if not all day I give your pets my full attention, to whatever there needs require! I like to keep them entertained and burn off some of that energy they may have!

About: Your dog will be part of our family life, Here in Axminster, abiding by there routine. I am an auxillery Nurse so if your dog takes meds no problem. keeping to there diet. Come and look at the property and meet us before hand. I have an Orthopedic dog bed if so required for hip and joint issues. We walk up to 4 times a day, or as required by you. We live 5 mins away from a river and fields so its lovely and green. Dogs come before owners in this house. I have worked for ottery st Mary Cat protection league, re-homing, and rescue. On holiday for two weeks no problem. We have 3 dog so your pooch needs to be used to other dogs. Degree in Animal Welfare Diagnostics Dog Health Certificate can be seen no problem Worked in Albania rescuing dogs off the streets health checking, worming, into a safe zone. I do not work so I'm able to give my time to my passion Dogs come first My dogs have 3 hours walk per day this is important for there enrichment The garden is walled and 6 foot fencing with trees in front. As i work for volunteering rescuing dogs from abroad occasionally the garden has to be secure

When we aren't out exploring the countryside, your dog will have full access to my large, securely fenced garden, where they can safely run around, play, or just stretch out in the sun.

About: As a soon to be veterinarian graduating this summer, I bring a unique combination of professional animal-care experience and a genuine lifelong love of animals. I have grown up around dogs, horses and cattle and have spent years caring for and working with animals in a variety of settings. My veterinary training has given me a strong understanding of canine health, behaviour and welfare, as well as the confidence to care for dogs with different needs. I am comfortable looking after puppies, senior dogs and dogs requiring medication or additional care, and I am trained to recognise when a dog may be unwell or needs veterinary attention. Safety and welfare are always my priority. My veterinary training means I am confident recognising changes in a dog's behaviour or health and responding appropriately if something doesn't seem right. In your home, I will respect your space and keep your pet's usual routine as consistent as possible, including feeding, walks, medication and rest. I am happy to follow detailed instructions and make sure your dog feels comfortable and settled. I understand that leaving your pet with someone new can be daunting, so I aim to build trust with both pets and owners through clear communication, regular updates and plenty of care and attention. Every dog is treated as an individual, with their personality, needs and comfort taken into account.
“Nick was absolutely brilliant with Heidi, our German Shepherd, during her week-long stay. He clearly understood the breed and was patient, calm and really friendly with her. Heidi had only recently been spayed, so we needed someone who would be mindful and gentle with her, and Nick — along with his two lovely dogs — was exactly that. It did Heidi so much good to spend time around dogs who don’t share her anxiety, and she settled really well. Nick was a great communicator throughout, positive, reassuring, friendly and just a genuinely lovely person. Heidi thought he was brilliant, and it was fantastic for me knowing she was so well cared for. I would happily send her back tomorrow and will definitely use Nick for any future stays.”
About: I’ve taken care of many dogs throughout my life, from grooming, training family and friends dogs to just looking after them! I’m a dog lover so will look after your pup to a high standard! I’m currently a student with my days off being Wednesday, Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, although I am available early morning and evenings too so I can cater for your dogs needs depending on what they would like! I have worked in Cirencester for 3 years now, so am familiar with lovely walks from short, low energy walks to long and stimulating walks.

“Francisco looked after Max for six nights. Max is a very old dog, and Francisco made everything easy for Max and me. Max was treated to special homemade food, and Francisco kept me updated by sending some pictures while I was away. There was medication to administer, and Francisco was incredibly helpful in ensuring I felt reassured throughout Max's stay. It was a great experience, and Francisco is an excellent dog sitter. About: Recently lost my rescue dog after 8 years. Brandy was a handful and always required due care and attention while out. Unfortunately hip dysplasia set in and her quality of life declined. I live a 2 minute walk to the beach so dogs under my care can expect walks & swims with approval. I work 20 minutes from Weymouth so dogs boarded during Monday - Thursday must be happy with short car rides to come into work with me. I won’t leave your pet unattended whilst in my care. Weekends are spent at home with walks on the beach or out exploring the coast line. I live alone so your dog will always have my full attention. I will only take 1 dog into my care at a time. I recently lost my dog who was 38kg and shared my space comfortably. I allow dogs on my sofa & bed so please advise if you don’t want to set this as a habit.
