“We have had several sitters from Rover and have been very pleased with them all. This was a fairly last minute request to board our pup Ziggy for 4 days. So lucky to find Jamie and Cara. 100% + recommendation on every aspect from prompt booking communications, arrangement to have an initial meet and greet walk together with them and their lovely friendly dog Jarvis; thorough prep arrangements for Ziggys stay; great and frequent photos and messages, all very reassuring for us. Most important of all our dog Ziggy had a wonderful time as part of their family, he was happy and relaxed and came home content. Do not hesitate to book with Jamie, perfect Rover hosts. Thanks so much Jamie and Cara.”

About: Dogs think I'm their new best friend. Cats eventually decide I'm acceptable. Either way, your pets get plenty of care, attention, playtime and updates while you are away. I grew up with my doggie, Fudge. She would sit on my lap in the pram, deal with being dressed as a princess through my childhood and be the fur I cried into during the dreadful teenage years! Animals make our lives and we make theirs. Thats why as a sitter I treat your animal like they are my own childhood pup, providing love, adventure and time when you can't. I am a professional harpist so my day involves practicing my music and giving your pet lots of attention and love. My days are incredibly flexible so I can cater them to what your pet needs. I have a large paddock with lots of space for Zoomies, as well as a fenced off smaller garden to keep your pets safe. Trigger had a wonderful relaxed stay. I was kept updated with plenty of photos and messages. I have no worries about leaving Trig with Isabelle. Will definitely be going back!”

About: Throughout my life we’ve always had dogs, cats and even reptiles- from Yorkshire terriers and beared dragons up to Boa constrictors and our current Rottweilers I’ve personally trained 4 Rottweilers (3 males 1 bitch) and had the pleasure of raising over 30 pups over the years. As with all big dogs it’s a short life and we’ve recently lost 3 of our 4 (13yrs, 12yrs and 11yrs) a great innings considering their life expectancy we lost our girl due to old age and two males due to cancer- Due to the incredible focus needed to have these breeds it’s given me and my partner great first hand experience of dealing with power, reactive behaviour and general big dog issues. We swear and live by proactive measures ensuring that we avoid tense situations and all cost and do all teaching via reinforcement and care. We spend all and every weekend exploring the uk countryside with Odin, so we’re looking to be able to care for dogs that fit into that lifestyle We live on a large boat, which is out of the water at the moment- we have safety nets and ramps set up so all areas are accessible and safe. Any dog staying with us overnight will have their own cabin onboard :)
About: Calm, home-from-home dog boarding by the beach 🐾 I offer a relaxed, loving environment where your dog will be treated like part of the family. Living right by the beach means plenty of fresh air, walks, and a calm routine — it’s like a little holiday for them while you’re away. I keep things small and personal, usually caring for just one dog at a time. This allows me to give your dog plenty of attention, consistency, and a stress-free environment, which works especially well for more sensitive or excitable dogs. I’m experienced with a range of temperaments, including puppies and high-energy dogs, and I’m confident following your routines — whether that’s feeding, training, or medication. Owners often say they feel completely at ease knowing their dog is in safe hands, and I always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax while you’re away. I work part-time, so I have lots of flexibility for walks, playtime, and company throughout the day. I’m active and out walking daily, making sure your dog gets a good balance of exercise and downtime. I’m always happy to accommodate your dog’s usual routine and sleeping arrangements to help them settle in comfortably. I'm currently working part time so I've got lots of time to walk/ play with your pup. I'm very active and walk/run daily. I can be available most weekends also and daytimes too. I don't have a crate at home but we're happy to have your pet sleep in the living room (on the couch if prerable). Happy to accommodate any need
“Jazz is wonderfully down-to-earth, and her experience, attentiveness, and genuine care are clear from the moment you meet her. We were initially anxious, as Murphy had only ever stayed with family before, but she looked after him so well that he didn’t seem to miss us at all. As this was a first meet, we were offered a meet-and-greet prior to booking which was a great way to have our dog get a feel for the environment beforehand. She followed his routine closely and kept us regularly updated with messages and photos, which made a huge difference in putting our minds at ease. It’s such a relief to know we can leave Murphy in a safe, loving home environment. We highly recommend Jazz to anyone looking for dog boarding. Thanks again Jazz, we look forward to next time!”

“Tara took such good care of Albert and he clearly loved her.🐾 Albert is an excitable puppy and had a potty accident over his stay, Tara was very understanding. I would recommend her as sitter. Albert's already booked in for his next stay with her.”

“As always Charlotte was great and I felt very relaxed leaving Cherry my cat in her care especially good for me as I am such a worry wort. Got regular pictures and updates and came home to a very happy relaxed cat. Thank you Charlotte ”

“Fern was amazing, I have 2 cats one that's elderly and a baby who is very shy and skittish. Fern managed to bond with both and get the baby to have a snuggle. I received numerous videos and pictures of the girls which put me at ease. I had actually messed up the booking and Fern was great at changing and attending though the days were different from what was booked. Can recommend her highly enough.”

About: Iv taken care of my own and family and friends cats for many years. Providing company and love as if they were my own. I no longer own cats myself so it’s always a joy to be in their company when I get the opportunity

“Bethany was wonderful, very caring and attentive to our cat, Wilma while we were away for 10 days. The daily photo updates were lovely and I looked forward to seeing them each morning. I will definitely use Bethany again in the future.”

“We booked Sophie for regular drop-ins over the span of two and a half weeks and honestly she has been an incredibly reliable, caring and communicative cat sitter. We could sleep easily knowing that someone responsible and genuinely good with pets is looking after our cat while we're out of the country. Dexter is usually very shy around strangers but instantly took a liking to her, which says a lot. We were concerned about letting someone we don't know have the keys to our flat for that long, but she has been nothing but respectful of our home. To sum it all up, we would definitely book her again!”

I absolutely love to walk and explore new places and having a friend beside you just makes it even better. Extremely responsible and trust worthy. I have a fenced garden and a friendly dog myself for company or can do solo walks and drops in for reactive dogs.

“In Faith I trust 🤗 ...great communication, well priced, uber helpful and a very caring sitter. Faith responded immediately to a much needed and very last minute request, which saved the day for me and Morpheus. I will definitely call upon her again (with I hope more notice on my part 🫣) and highly recommend her (and her beautiful bouncy mini poodle play assistant) to keep your pooches cared for and content in your absence.”

“Claire was great with Daisy and really helpful being able to book last minute with her and for a longer day than usual. Daisy had a great time and went back in for a goodbye pat before we headed home.”

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 18, was a house sitter for multiple animals at the same time. Love going on multiple walks per day around the beach and parks local to me. Love having dogs socialise with each other as I have a dog myself, he loves playing with other dogs. Love spoiling dogs and giving them the world they deserve. I don't necessarily have any special training that I can provide for your dog, however I will always make sure they are well behaved! Working from home gives me a lot of time with the dogs , I will usually keep the back door open all day so they can go into the garden when they want to. Happy with big, small, medium sized dogs, as my dog gets a long with all dogs. He's an ex rescue dog and very shy around people. However around dogs he comes alive! I'm currently working full time from home. I have an online business, meaning I can work when I want. My typical schedule would involve my partner waking up around 5AM to let the dogs out as she leaves for work around 6AM. The dogs then come into bed with me until I wake up which is around 7-7:45AM. My work starts with a meeting at 8:15AM which usually lasts 30mins-45mins. After the meeting I typically go on a dog walk for an hour, this can be around the fields , parks or beaches near me. Then I come home and work through the day, the back door will be open all day so the dogs can go out. I then go for an afternoon / evening walk around 5-6pm. This usually is an hour however can change depending which dogs i'm looking after. I can also do 1 walk per day if that is all your dog needs (some dogs cannot be over-excercised). Pet-care very easily works around my daily life, nothing would change in my schedule if I was to look after your dog. I have a fenced garden, and a very friendly 10 -month old rescue puppy called Dexter. He loves playing with other animals and dogs, male of female. There are 2 doors to get in, 3 if you count the one without a lock. Meaning if they were to get out the door to my flat they wouldn't be able to get out to the road. My dog does not get protective over treats or food so eating wouldn't be an issue. My dog also does not get jealous , he's never been aggressive in the time we've had him, he's scared of people but loves animals ! My dog also does not bark ! If your dog was to bark or try to dominate him he would allow it to happen, he's very placid.
“Amanda was great. Duke and Bobby were very happy. We had picture updates so we know they were ok,both ours dogs were very relaxed and happy around Amanda look forward to using her again.”

“I knew Laszlo would be in good hands with Annie as a fellow spaniel lover and he clearly had a great time with her. She was very accommodating and kept me updated with pictures and videos of him having fun and playing games. Very happy with everything and reassured to know Annie is nearby in future”

“Isabelle responded very quickly to our enquiry and arrived promptly on time at our house. Zella loved her and there was an immediate rapport between them. On our return Zella was happy and relaxed and we would not hesitate to use her service again and would recommend her highly Penny”

“Great communication from the offset. We had a meet and greet and then Willow spent two days in her care. Willow was comfortable and happy and enjoyed her walks with the other dogs. Great sitter!”

About: I have over a year’s experience caring for dogs and have built a wonderful relationship with a regular client who trusts me to care for their dog on an ongoing basis. Alongside this, I regularly look after my own dog, as well as my sister’s and grandma’s dogs whenever they’re away, so I’m confident caring for dogs with different personalities and routines. I understand that every dog deserves love, attention and companionship. I couldn’t imagine a dog being left feeling lonely, so I always make sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles or simply keeping them company, I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own. I’m reliable, patient and caring, and I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is in safe and loving hands. Pet sitting is currently my full-time focus, so I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. I do occasionally have one-day photoshoots or events, but I always keep my diary up to date and never accept bookings that would clash. When you book with me in advance, you can be confident that your dog will receive my full attention, plenty of exercise, love and companionship throughout their stay. I’ll always communicate clearly with you and make sure your dog’s routine comes first. Your dog’s safety, happiness and wellbeing will always be my priority. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they stick to their usual routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime and any medication they may need. I’ll provide plenty of love, attention and companionship, ensuring they never feel lonely or unsettled. In my home, dogs have access to a large, secure fenced garden with both grass and patio areas to play and explore safely. I also have a friendly, well-socialised Cocker Spaniel who loves the company of other dogs, as well as a large crate and comfortable bed if your dog prefers their own space. I have dedicated fridge space for storing fresh food or any special dietary requirements, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your dog is happy, safe and receiving the best possible care.

I prefer longer, enriching countryside and woodland walks where dogs can freely explore, sniff, and burn off energy in a stimulating natural environment. I often forage for mushrooms along the way, which makes each walk feel like a proper outdoor adventure. I’ll also often take photos during our walks so you can see what we’ve been up to! I’ve recently started my own business that gives me flexibility with how I structure my day and week. Much of my work naturally involves spending time outdoors and walking in nature, so incorporating dog walking into my routine feels like a perfect fit. Rather than walking alone, I can provide dogs with exercise, stimulation, and companionship while I’m already out exploring local countryside and green spaces. It allows me to combine productivity, wellbeing, and a genuine love of dogs into my daily routine. I would treat every pet as if they were my own, a member of the family. I would make sure they feel safe comfortable and well cared for while keeping to their usual routine and individual needs. Whether in my home or the owner’s home they would receive plenty of attention, exercise, affection and a high standard of care. I would also provideupdates so owners have peace of mind while their pet is with me.

“Isabelle is a devoted dog boarder. Trigger, my sensitive Vizsla, was made to feel so very welcome. Trigger stayed with Isabelle for 2 nights and he was allowed to sleep in/on her bed with him. Trigger had a wonderful relaxed stay. I was kept updated with plenty of photos and messages. I have no worries about leaving Trig with Isabelle. Will definitely be going back!”
