“This is the first time that I have required a dog sitter for my Cocker Spaniel -Freya . I was drawn to Eleanor’s advertisement because she loves dogs but does not at present have a dog and does not intend to have more than one dog in a sitting. I immediately knew that Freya would get a lot of love and attention. After our first pre- sit dog walk I knew I had struck gold. Eleanor not only understands dogs but dog owners too. By the time I went on holiday I was totally confident and at ease with the booking. Now that I have picked Freya up I am delighted to see the relationship they have and I can see that Freya has been happy and well cared for. To other dog owners I can’t recommend Eleanor highly enough.”

“We couldn’t be more pleased with Lynn, and Reggie couldn’t have felt more at home. Thank you so much for making him feel so welcome and settled in your home. We will be using Lynn to care for Reggie again and would highly recommend her!”

“As always Cherry had a fab time, she is always so happy. She gets lots of attention, and we get great daily updates. Highly recommend this sitter for your pets, they always look after them so well.”

“Andy's awesome at what he does. I left Dukey with him for a week and then again for a night, lots of cuddles and updates throughout the day. He also makes sure to provide reassurance where needed instead of making it a panic situation overall if your pet feels a bit off, will definitely book again for Dukey!!”

About: I have been around dogs ever since I was a baby. My nan cared for retired guide dogs for around 20 years, so I developed a strong love and adoration for dogs. My family has owned 2 dogs since I was a child, sadly our last dog passed away 2 years ago and my family and I have felt like a part of us has been missing ever since. No dog could replace our sweet Lionel, he was the most special dog ever, but I decided to start up a dog boarding business as a way to still surround us with dogs. I have looked after friends and family’s dogs many times as favours before I started my business and that’s what really pushed me to have the confidence to do this as a job. If you choose to have me as your dog boarder, you can be assured that your dog will be treated like family and will be given so much love and care. I am available everyday of the week as this is my sole job. I do volunteer most mornings of the week, however I live in a house of 6 people so it is very rare that no one is home. I am fully licensed by Southampton City Council, so my house and garden have been completely approved and catered to suit dog boarding. I also have a Canine First Aid certification, full insurance and DBS checked.
About: Dogs have always played a central role in my life. Having grown up with canine companions, I would gladly have a pack of my own right now if my current schedule allowed it. Since my job involves a mix of remote work and occasional travel, caring for your dogs in the meantime is the absolute next best thing! Over the years, I have gained hands-on experience looking after a wide variety of breeds and sizes, ranging from larger dogs like German Shepherds and Golden Retrievers to smaller or more energetic breeds like Corgis, Cocker Spaniels, Staffies, Cockapoos, and Italian Greyhounds. Because I am home-based for the majority of my work week, your furry family members will have constant company and supervision if you book boarding or doggy daycare. I can also easily adapt my schedule to accommodate flexible dog walking arrangements. Before any stay begins, I always prefer to arrange an initial meet-and-greet so you can visit, check out the space, and feel completely confident about where your pet will be staying. You can count on me to keep your dogs happy, comfortable, and well-cared for, and I will always follow up with plenty of photo updates to give you peace of mind while you are away ! I'm up around 7:30am and go for an hours walk with the dogs around 9-10am Pottering around the garden/working from home during the day. Afternoon walk with the dogs (weather depending, or else it's a walk after 9pm) Your pet will enjoy all the comforts of home, featuring a large fenced garden and two friendly female Labradors (1 and 5 years old). They will have full run of the downstairs areas and outdoor space to play and settle in
“Merlin loved his stay with Fiona and her family! We had plenty of lovely updates from Fiona and it was great to see and hear what they had been up to. Definitely recommend and will be returning!”

“Thank you so much for looking after our dogs, kept us updated with photos which was so lovely to see how happy & safe they were with such lovely people. “Emily was absolutely fantastic. She is such a friendly person and as soon as we met, I knew I didn't have to worry about my old, grumpy cat while Emily was looking after her. Emily gave loads of updates which was very reassuring. I would definitely try to book with her again.”

“Tanya did an excellent job looking after my cats. She was reliable, caring, and kept everything tidy. The cats clearly felt comfortable with her, and I appreciated the regular updates. I’d happily recommend Tanya to anyone needing a trustworthy sitter and would definitely book her again.”

“Eirian was happy to meet with us first so we could chat through things. She arrived on time. Once we were away, she looked after our cats so well while we were away and she even put our bin away for us, so it wasn’t so obvious we were away. Thank you Eirian.”

“Was away for a weekend and Jamie took great care of my 2 cats. They seemed totally at ease and comfortable when I got back. No issues whatsoever. I'd asked if he could come by once a day for feeding, play and litter tray and that was all managed well. Would definitely ask him to cat sit for me again in the future. ”

About: I have taken care of cats for all my life, I have grown up with them, taking care of their needs and their specific schedules. I have now since living with my partner got a cat of our own.

“Caroline looked after my elderly cat really well including managing her arthritis medication. Bella was happy with Caroline; the photos and text updates sent to me while away clearly evidenced Bella was contented. Caroline looked after our home fantastically, the place was lovely and clean when we walked back in, with spring daffodils really appreciated. I would highly recommend Caroline for your pet and house sitting and wouldn’t hesitate to book again. Thanks Caroline.”

“I couldn't be any happier! Eliza left detailed report cards and my cat looked very happy from the photos! She was careful and understanding with all my requests! Will book again with her without a doubt!”

“Emily has been amazing with our fur babies! They all adored her from the beginning which is not always the case! I was so reassured by her communication and photos as well as videos, I would 100% recommend her to look after your fur babies! Thank you so much Emily x”

“Hilary is such a professional. She did 3 drop-in visits while we were on holiday and she took care of our cat, she even rescued our cat that is locked herself in the shower cabin. Hilary was very friendly with our cat and played with her. We are very happy to meet with Hilary. Thank you”

“Absolutely amazing service from Alison and her daughter. Sadly Layla fell ill whilst we were away and Alison went well above and beyond to take her to the vet late on a Saturday evening and keep us fully informed. We were so grateful thank you. If we could award six stars we would. Thank you.”

“Charlotte did drop-ins every other day for two weeks to care for my cat, Laura, while we were away, and she was absolutely fantastic! She was reliable, kept everything clean and well-stocked, and made sure to spend quality time playing with Laura. When we returned, Laura was happy, content, and didn’t seem lonely at all, which speaks volumes about the excellent care Charlotte provided. We are really happy to have found Charlotte and would highly recommend her to anyone in need of a great cat sitter!”

“John was amazing with Thor. I am a “pet mum” full of requests and reminders , lists on the wall and especially i request a continues update. John gave me everything I requested and he was really caring and affectionate with Thor🥰 I was a little apprehensive about many things cause although Thor is not a Huge dog is anyway a dog of a certain size, I have nothing but good words about him and I will for sure book him again in the future.”

“Absolutely no hesitation leaving a 5 star review. Natalie agreed to watch over our old dog for the first time so we could enjoy time with friends. Returned home to a calm, fed and spoilt dog. Thank you Natalie, highly recommended”

“Excellent cat sitting care and service provided by Kirsty. Both my cats were at ease with her when she met them for the first time for the "meet and greet" which provided reassurance for me, especially when one has anxiety issues. The photos and updates by Kirsty when I was away provided further reassurance that they were settled and happy in her care. This was reinforced on arrival back home as they were their usual selves in terms of their behaviour. This was my first time using a cat sitting service. I will certainly use Kirsty again as I know my cats will be settled, well looked after and I will have no worries.”

“Sally was really welcoming towards Hector and a pleasure to meet. You can tell she has a natural flair towards dogs- her own dog, Lois, is lovely and is clearly well cared for. Hectors made a new best friend in Lois and can’t wait to be back! I was updated throughout the day and had no trouble at all.”

About: Hi, I’m Liberty! Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. I started helping at local horse yards from the age of 12 and was dog walking and pet sitting by 18. I’ve owned dogs and horses for many years, including my two rescue Samoyeds, so I understand that every dog is different. I’m currently training towards my Level 3 City & Guilds Diploma in Dog Grooming, alongside building The Grooming Stable. My aim is to provide calm, personalised, one-to-one care where every dog is treated as if they were my own. I’m fully DBS checked, insured and canine first aid trained. Whether your dog enjoys long woodland walks, needs a slower-paced stroll, or simply benefits from familiar, consistent care, I’ll tailor every walk to suit their individual needs. I’d love to become someone both you and your dog can trust for years to come. Pet care is my priority, and I work flexibly to meet the needs of both you and your dog. I offer dog walking, puppy visits, pop ins and bespoke daycare throughout the week, with availability varying by day. Every booking is planned to ensure your dog receives plenty of time, attention and care, rather than being rushed between appointments. If you’re looking for regular ongoing support or occasional help, I’d love to chat about how I can help. Your dog’s safety, happiness and wellbeing will always come first. I’m fully DBS checked, insured and canine first aid trained. I’ll always follow your routine as closely as possible, whether that’s feeding, medication, training, enrichment or simply providing companionship. I believe in calm, positive handling and treating every dog as if they were my own. Before any regular bookings, I also offer a free meet and greet so we can get to know each other and make sure everyone feels comfortable.

“I chose Sophie for a day care stay for our beloved Maia, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. From the moment we met them, they were welcoming and friendly. Maia was made to feel part of the family and enjoyed spending time with Sophie, her family, and their lovely dog Theo. It was reassuring to know she was in such a caring and safe environment while we were away. Sophie kept us updated throughout the day and when we picked Maia up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly had a wonderful time. We would highly recommend Sophie and her family to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive dog sitter. Thank you for taking such great care of Maia!”

“I took my girl to day care with Lauren and she had a great time with Lauren and her family. Lauren is a very caring lady who took storm on a nice long walk during the day. She was really responsive when organising a meet and greet and confirming availability and this continued into being prompt for the walks. After just a few walks, Jake knew who was coming to take him out and clearly enjoyed his walks. Thank you !”

I’m currently retired so have loads of free time for pet sitting and/or dog walking and can often accept short notice assignments according to need. As I offer a pet sitting service in owners homes, I am happy to comply with owners rules concerning their pet’s routines and safety etc. I’m patient and understanding with nervous pets and happy to sit quietly and offer cuddles or play ball games outside with energetic dogs. I offer a bespoke service tailored to the needs of you and your pet. I also have experience of looking after older pets with medical requirements such as medicines they may need. I pride myself on attention to detail and being reliable. I look forward to meeting you and your animals! I am also happy to do plant watering, fish feeding, and other little jobs that you require whilst away. Please note, I am unable to do Mon, Tues and Fridays due to my work. However, if you require a pop in or dog walk on these days I could do 6 am and or after 6pm. Thank you for reading. Bev I work 3 days a week as a nurse. However, I am more than happy and able to do pop ins pre and post shift on those days. The other 4 days of the week I can be available any time. Regardless of the day, your pet will get my time and attention. I am not able to have most pets in my house due to the bunnies. I could look after a hamster/gerbil/rat for example. I am highly respectful of people's homes and property and would maintain the utmost security and care of your property if I was doing pop ins for you.
“We went away for a few days and left our dogs with my mum who isn’t able to walk them herself. Hilary was amazing with them and sent us lots of pics. Would definitely use again.”

About: I have had dogs and cats in my life ever since I was a young child. Monty was the most loving dog as a child, but my cat Jessy was a bit more independent (but loved a cuddle when it was on his terms!). I own two cockapoo's called Guinness and Murphy, very typical cockapoo's! Full of energy and extremely loving. I have a young child who Guinness adores! Very experienced with high energy dogs. I've had both my current dogs since they were puppies so very happy to do drop in visits to puppies :) I am currently working from home and currently have complete flexibility Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday's for drop in's and dog walking. Also available on the weekends with notice for house sitting, dog walks and drop in visits. If you would like me to visit your pet before caring for them please message me and we can arrange a visit beforehand. When booking I will be in contact to check your dog's temperament and what they like/dislike!
“I was looking for a dog walker who could walk my 11 year old Tibetan terrier. I needed someone who could be flexible on dates and walked one dog at a time. Helen ticked those boxes and was a lovely lady who I instantly knew I could trust with my little bundle of stubbornness! Looking forward to working with Helen again.”

About: I have grown up around animals and have owned a variety. I’ve had the likes of dogs, hamsters and guinea pigs just to name a few. Most recently I have owned a pug and currently live with a golden retriever. I have a lot of knowledge about flat faced breeds and know how to best care for them. Equally I have a lot of knowledge around other breeds particularly smaller ones. I have looked after friends and my families dogs when they have gone away. I have the ability to go to their houses so that their dogs stay in their own environment that’s familiar. I have also had dogs come and stay with me too. I regularly look after my friends dog when she goes to work making sure that her dog is well looked after. I have a lot of free time at the moment being in between jobs so am very flexible with my availability. I will work around what’s best for you and your pet. I will care for your pet as if it was my own. At my house dogs are allowed on the furniture and on the beds so they can have a proper cuddle. I have three beds in the house with room for their own bed if required. I have a fully enclosed garden with a 7ft fence. I also have an open field across the road and a woodlands the other side with running water. I will make sure to feed your dog as many times as needed throughout the time they are with me. There are two fresh water bowls throughout the house and one in the back garden as well so that there is always access to water. I usually keep my back door open throughout the summer time so that Olive (my friends dog) can go in and out when she pleases, as well as her swimming pool under the shade of a giant canopy. If you would like me to sit in your own home I will treat it with the upmost respect. I like to keep things clean and tidy and will leave your home as I came into it. Leave no trace.

About: * PLEASE NOTE I WORK MONDAY - FRIDAY UNTIL 6PM* Evenings and weekend requests. With 18 years of experience caring for my beloved Westie who has very sadly and recently passed away, I’ve developed a deep understanding of what it takes to give dogs the love and attention they deserve. Over the years, I’ve become skilled in everything from feeding routines to administering medication, and most importantly, offering companionship and comfort. In addition to caring for my own dog, I’ve had the pleasure of photographing and spending time with many other dogs. This has given me the opportunity to connect with a variety of breeds and personalities, further expanding my knowledge and skills in dog care. I’ve also had the joy of pet sitting for others, ensuring that their furry family members are in safe, loving hands while they’re away. Whether it’s taking them for walks, playing their favorite games, or just offering a cozy lap to curl up on, I treat every dog with the same care and attention I give my own. You can trust me to provide your pets with the best care possible! I understand how important it is to balance caring for your pets with your own schedule. That’s why I offer flexible pet sitting services to fit around your routine. Whether you need someone to pop out for lunch breaks, evening visits, or weekend walks, I’ve got you covered! During lunch breaks, I’m happy to stop by and check in on your pet, ensuring they’re fed, refreshed, and getting the attention they need. If your pet loves walks, I can also take them for a stroll to keep them active and happy while you’re away. In the evenings, I’ll make sure your furry friend is settled in, whether that’s with a play session, some quiet time, or just keeping them company. And on weekends, I can take your dog for longer walks or outings, ensuring they’re not only well cared for but also getting the fun and exercise they need to stay happy and healthy. I’m here to provide peace of mind, knowing your pets are well taken care of, no matter your schedule! When I look after your pets, I treat them as if they were my own. With years of experience caring for my own dog, I understand how important it is to provide not just food and shelter, but love, attention, and respect. From the moment your pet is in my care, they become part of my family. I’ll make sure they’re fed on time, given plenty of playtime, and provided with the same routine and comfort they’re used to at home. Whether it’s a game of fetch, a leisurely walk, or just cuddling on the couch, I’ll be there to meet their physical and emotional needs. If they have any special requirements, whether it’s medication, grooming, or just extra TLC, I’ll ensure they’re well taken care of. My goal is to create a safe, loving, and fun environment where your pet feels at ease, just like they do when they’re with you. You can rest assured knowing that while you’re away, they’re in the best hands—being treated with the same care and affection as my own furry friend. When your pet comes to stay with me, they’ll be welcomed into a warm, loving home where they’ll feel safe and comfortable. My home is pet-friendly, with plenty of space for them to relax and explore. I have a fenced garden where they can run, play, and enjoy the outdoors, so they’ll have the freedom to stretch their legs and get some fresh air in a secure environment. Whether your pet is used to curling up on the couch or enjoying some time outdoors, I’ll make sure they have everything they need to feel at ease. From cozy spots inside to a secure space outside, they’ll experience a loving, home-like atmosphere—just like they would at your place. You can rest easy knowing they’re in a safe, comfortable environment, treated with the same care and attention I give my own pet.
About: I’ve looked after dogs ever since I was 12, with a variety of puppy training, dog walking and pet sitting. Unfortunately I don’t have a pet myself yet, but have been raised around dogs all my life. I’m used to crate training, and have experience with puppies, gun dogs, spaniels and rescues. I love nothing more than finding out the personalities of dogs and looking after them. I’m available for toilet breaks, walking and sitting when required. As much notice as possible would be great, but I will do my best to make more short-notice requests too I will make sure that your dog isn’t out in the garden without being watched (just in case), and will always be vigilant of any potential dangers. We have a small garden so it will be very easy to keep an eye on your furry friend

“As always Cherry had a fab time, she is always so happy. She gets lots of attention, and we get great daily updates. Highly recommend this sitter for your pets, they always look after them so well.”

(maybe too happy as scooby stole the last bit of your dinner 🤦🏻♀️) they even took them on a walk as well which is much appreciated. Can’t thank enough🐾”

About: Hi, I’m Sophie! My partner George and I recently bought our first home in Eastleigh, and we’re both huge dog lovers. While our work commitments mean we can’t have a dog of our own right now, we’d love to help others by providing caring and reliable dog walking and sitting services. I’ve grown up with dogs my whole life, from a Border Collie to a Lhasa Apso/Yorkie mix, and now a lovely litte Poochon. I’m very used to grooming needs and making sure coats are well cared for. I also regularly help care for family dogs, including Labradors, so I’m confident with both small and large breeds. Having experienced every stage of a dog’s life, I’m comfortable caring for energetic puppies as well as giving extra patience, attention, and love to older dogs. I work full-time across four days a week, which means I’m fully available on Tuesdays and weekends. On my days off, your dog will have my full attention. I’ll always stick to your routine and make sure your pup feels happy, comfortable, and well cared for—whether that’s during a walk, drop-in visit, or overnight stay. I’m happy to provide as many walks as your dog needs, along with plenty of playtime and attention. They’ll also have access to a secure garden and a safe, dog-friendly home environment. I have a fully fenced, secure garden and plenty of lovely walking routes nearby. I’m also happy to take dogs out in the car for longer walks or new environments if they enjoy that. I always aim to follow your preferences and routine to make sure you feel completely comfortable. My home does have stairs, but these can be safely blocked off if needed. Dogs are welcome to settle in wherever they feel most comfortable. You’re very welcome to bring their bed, crate, blankets, or anything familiar from home. If your dog is used to cuddling up on the sofa, they’ll be more than welcome to do the same here!
“This was our first time leaving Gabby with someone we didn’t know so we were pretty nervous but Abbie was fantastic collected her from the house and you could tell straight away she was comfortable with larger dogs, updated us through the stay and dropped her back the following morning. Would highly recommended”

“Helen was absolutely brilliant with Woody while we were away for a week. She was friendly, reliable and clearly has fantastic experience with dogs. Woody got on really well with Helen and her dog Bertie and seemed to have a great time. It was obvious he was happy, settled and very well cared for, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. We wouldn’t hesitate to have Helen look after Woody again and would highly recommend her.”

“Jo-Amanda looked after Frank as if he were one of her own dogs. She sent lots of photos and videos, even though I was only gone 2 days, she even tried some of her own kibble mix when he was off his own food. I would recommend her to anyone.”

About: My partner Jacob and I have both had dogs all our lives. We have had Staffies, boxers, spaniels, cross breeds. You name it! We love dogs. We also love and really advocate for dog training knowledge. We are very safe and responsible dog owners and know a lot about dog body language and behaviour. We will always make sure our day revolves around the dogs! They’ll get plenty of exercise, but we love to play with the dogs too - if they want it! Whether that’s a game of chase, tug, or find it. We love to mentally stimulate dogs as it’s so good for their brain. We love a game of hide and seek. Me and my partner work full time but both have the luxury to work from home. I do 2 days a week and my partner can work from home whenever. My work is very flexible and I live a 10 minute walk (1 minute drive) from my office so can attend to the dogs whenever. I am out in the morning for my exercise and my partner does his in the evening, so one of us is always home with the dog! We love to get out steps in before work and after too, so we always get out with the dogs. We have concrete fenced garden with a secure gate. We have doors inside the house that if we open the front door, we ensure the dogs are kept behind a closed door so they cannot get out. We make sure the dogs have everything they need and easy access. We are very tidy and don’t leave mess around or anything for dogs to chew on etc.
