Meet Chamcham & Our Dog-Friendly Home I am a proud parent of Chamcham, my friendly, playful, and neutered 1.5-year-old Cockapoo (10 kg). I raised Chamcham from an 8-week-old puppy using positive reinforcement, lots of treats, and unconditional love. I also had a rescue dog named Caramel, who had a timid past. Through patience and care, I helped him overcome his anxieties before he peacefully passed away from old age. These experiences taught me that every dog is unique and deserves a tailored approach. Daily Routine & Comfort Spacious & Safe: I have a fully fenced, secure garden. When the weather is nice, the garden door is kept open for free play; otherwise, I listen closely to our dogs' cues when they need a potty break. Active Days: I am a teacher, and during the summer break, I have plenty of time to dedicate to my furry guests! We take walks at least twice a day (morning and evening), with extra outings or midday strolls whenever needed. Home Comforts: Dogs are welcome on all furniture in my home to lounge and relax! Peaceful Environment: I have no children at home, ensuring a calm and focused environment for your dog. About: I have taken care of various dogs over the last 2-3 years whilst their owners are away. Most of which have boarded at my home. Since recently retiring, I am able to provide more frequent playful interaction, country walks plus plenty of love and attention with fewer interruptions. Now I'm fully retired I can focus on caring for animals without interruption from work. When dogs board, I walk them twice a day and happy to do up to 5 miles a day depending on your dog's normal routine. There are hedges around our garden and it is large enough for a dog to run around and play with a ball. There is a wet room just inside the back door suitable to wash down a dog after a muddy walk. We live in a small village surrounded by countryside with many walks across fields and through woods, so no need to drive first.

About: Both my partner and I have owned and cared for dogs and cats since we were kids. Always dog sit for family and friends. Go for frequent walks in the countryside and have our own vehicle to transport dogs to and from walks with business insurance. I bathe and feed my mother’s dogs regularly and walk them with my partner around the fields of our home. I work full time mostly from home with the occasional in person meeting and off on weekends so am free around these times for anything needed. I am not normally gone for more than 4 hours however if it is longer my partner also sometimes works from home so with enough notice he can be there If your dog is house trained I can care for them at my home however I can also care for your loved pets in their own home and am able to collect from their home and take them for walks or drop in to feed and play with them for a few hours where needed. I am highly experienced in dog sitting, dog walking and cat sitting on Rover.com and have many repeat clients. I used to board dogs in my family home but now that I am in student accommodation I offer house sitting, drop-ins and dog walking only. I live in the Kensington and Chelsea area, London. I am a 5th year medical student in my professional life and before deciding to branch into medicine I had 3 weeks of work experience in various veterinary practices - including Willows and Hollybank. I am also currently undergoing a canine first aid course. My pets I have had my dog Henry (golden retriever x labrador) since he was 8 weeks old so I understand the constant supervision required with puppies, having been through it myself! Henry is now 3 years old and an absolute joy. He lived with me in London while he was a puppy but now lives in my family home in Cheshire as I am not allowed to have him in student accommodation. I am familiar with looking after many types of animal. I have owned cats since I was 8 years old and understand each cat has different needs, personalities and eating preferences, with some being more shy than others. For instance, last year I looked after a very shy cat who only comes out into the open with its owners, and with a gentle and quiet approach I managed to gain the cat's trust and even managed to play with it! In my family home we have 2 rabbits which are 10 years old and live in a spacious environment and get fed lots of hay! I understand rabbits' needs very well, and used to have a blog on rabbit care - I am also familiar with RWAF's campaign 'A Hutch is not enough' and understand rabbits' needs for a social companion and a spacious environment to run and play in. Questions Please feel comfortable to ask as many questions as you like, I appreciate it can be scary leaving your pet with a petsitter for the first time. Please feel free to contact me if you are unsure about my rates as these can be adjusted depending on the length of service - ie. If you only need me for the evening and not overnight I can reduce rates for you. Please see the ‘safety, trust and environment’ section for more information about my approach to pet sitting. I am available evenings / overnight but have clinical placement in the day Monday -Friday except Wednesday afternoon. I am available all day and night on the weekends. Dogs I am very comfortable looking after dogs of all sizes and I'm familiar with positive-reinforcement training techniques so I'm happy to continue any ongoing training with your dog. When I am house-sitting, I like to take dogs out for at least 2 walks a day, and depending on the dog's needs and recall ability I endeavour to take them to local dog parks for a run-around and play. I regularly ensure water bowls are topped up, especially in hot weather, and will work alongside the owner to maintain a desired feeding/treat schedule depending on your preferences. In the house, I like to play tug, fetch and enrichment games with dogs to keep them occupied, and of course lots of love and cuddles if the dog prefers it! I offer house sitting, drop-in sessions and dog walking. Cats Like with dogs, cats come with all sorts of different personalities! I believe cats require a more gentle and subdued approach than with most dogs (unless the dog is nervous), allowing them to come up to you in their own time rather than approaching them. I offer drop-in sessions and overnight sitting. Rabbits I understand a rabbit's physiological need to be constantly eating, which is why I will always ensure they have more than enough hay to eat. I will feed your rabbit, top up their water and offer them company, letting them out of their hutch into a secure area to run around if necessary. I offer drop-in sessions and overnight sitting.

Currently I only offer weekend care for your pets as I work as an animal care teacher in a local secondary school. From the 20th July I will be full time. I love animals and have spent my whole life around them. I have two beautiful dogs, Loulou an English Springer spaniel who is our school therapy dog and Mabel a one year old German Shorthaired Pointer. I have need grooming dogs for three years and offer this as an additional service at very reasonable rates. My home is completely secure and dogs have access to a large walled garden and a one acre field which are secure. I have an enhanced DBS certificate. About: James and Toni have both had family dogs throughout our lives. James has a 14 year old black lab at his parents who we look after and miss not being around every day! James is self employed so can fit his schedule around the dogs. Early start so is home in the afternoons. Toni works from home 2 days a week which is flexible. We have an open plan downstairs with lots of space, and a stair gate to keep the dogs downstairs. We have an enclosed garden with space to explore.
