“My 1st experience using Rover and I have to admit I was nervous about leaving my boy. I met up with Jessica twice before booking and I could see my dog was going to be ok with them. My dog seemed to be relaxed and at ease with them. I had daily updates and photos which I really appreciated and it helped me relax on holiday knowing he was well looked after. I would definitely book again without hestitation.”

“Absolutely fantastic!! Flo was well loved and looked after, long walks and plenty of cuddles. I highly recommend Sarah to anyone in need of a dogsitter. We will certainly bring Flo back whenever we go away next and are unable to bring Flo. Thank you, Sarah & family for all your support.”

“Holly and her family took such great care of our puppy, Jasper. She was very communicative, followed our care instructions and looked after him like he was their own dog. Would 100% recommend and we will book him in with Holly again if our plans align. Thanks Holly!”

“I have made the best decision leaving my little teenage Italian greyhound with Philippa. Not only did she ensure he had the most fantastic time, she went above and beyond to keep him comfortable. She really listened to my needs and instructions as well as sending me regular updates on his journey. I trust her with my dog and will be going to her in the future. She also took him out for adventurous walks and gave him cuddles.”

“My dog has had the happiest 2 weeks with Christine while I was away. Chris kept me updated with pics and messages, and on my return my dog looks incredibly well and very happy. We hatted o an hour and my dog wnet between the two of us, showing me how much she has loved being with Chris. I will DEFINITELY be using her again. I can't believe my luck finding such a wonderful dog minder, thank you Chris.”

“I was a bit worried about leaving my little Alfie as he hasn't stayed at anyone else's home yet. Roksolanawas so kind and welcomed him with open arms. Alfie had a lovely time and seemed very happy when I picked him up.”

About: I have had dogs in the past, in the family home, from when I was 11, small, medium and large! I would love a dog now but unfortunately I cannot financially commit to one at the moment. I have a daughter who is 7 and also loves animals, she is so kind and gentle. She is constantly asking dog owners if she can say hello to their dogs and making lots of new furry friends. We have looked after our neighbours, friends and my sisters dog. I work from home most weekdays, days off Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I Love animals, the outdoors and keeping fit and healthy. Be lovely to help others and give your dog some company, love and walks / runs! 🐾 ❤️ I mainly work from home Monday to Thursday 8.30-4pm, go to the office a couple of times a month. So I could give your dog some company from my home, and walks on my break/s. Or if local I can pop over to see to your dog or take them out. I am off Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I enjoy going for slow or fast, short or long walks and runs, so can provide the exercise your dog requires. “What an amazing lady, Sara is the kindest dog sitter we’ve used on the app. Our nervous sausage dog opened up quickly to snuggles and enjoyed the attention. Can’t wait to use Sara as our regular sitter.”
“Eleanor was brilliant with our Staffy, Peggy. Peggy had a great week with her and her family, she enjoyed lots of cuddles and also enjoyed all the sticks she could find in the very extensive woodland that is out the back of the house! Eleanor kept us updated with how Peggy was and managed the medication she has everyday without any issue. Overall very pleased to have found her and would recommend for dog boarding.”

“Our dog Mac is very anxious, but Angus proved to be the perfect person to look after him. Together with Zoe, he looked after Mac with great patience and calmness and kept us really well informed about how Mac was settling in. Can’t recommend Angus highly enough and will be returning to him with Mac soon.”

“Georgina provided a wonderful home away from home for our cockapoo Bailey whilst we were on holiday. He settled with her so well and we returned to a happy well cared for dog. Georgina was super prompt with messaging, and general communication prior to Bailey’s stay, and kept in regular contact whilst we were away, sending photos and videos, which was so reassuring for us. I will definitely use Georgina again, and can’t recommend her enough. We feel lucky to have found her!”

About: I have always loved cats and have looked after friends and family cats as and when needed l For example when they go away for a few days or even longer. I follow instructions depending on how often the eat and play with them.

About: I’m currently studying Psychology at the University of Nottingham. I absolutely adore cats and find such comfort and joy in being around these lovely animals. I’m the proud owner of four cats as of current (Cookie, Crumble, Phoebe and Leo)! I recently had to bring my cat into our new household that already had three cats in and have successfully integrated mine and my sisters cat (Leo) into the family. I would be honoured to be able to look after your animals too :)

About: Cats have been part of my home my whole life. I currently breed my pedigree Burmese Blue, so I understand cats well beyond feeding and a quick stroke - health, behaviour, body language, and how to earn the trust of shyer or more particular cats, pedigrees included. I know some cats want play and cuddles while others want quiet company and their routine kept exactly as it is, and I take my lead from the cat. Drop-in visits cover feeding, fresh water, litter, medication if needed, and a photo update every time so you know they're settled while you're away.

About: I’ve grown up with cats and have been caring for them for over 10 years. I understand their unique personalities, from shy rescues to playful kittens. I have the knowledge to provide a calm, enriching environment, keeping their routines consistent and giving them plenty of affection, so you can relax knowing your cat is in loving, capable hands!

“Emma has looked after Mischa brilliantly during our weekend away. She immediately established a rapport with her when they first met. We appreciated the reports and photos after each visit. I wholeheartedly recommend Emma to anyone who needs someone to care for their cat/s.”

“Felicitas is amazing! She’s just stayed at our house looking after our cat Rio whilst we’ve been away and just like the first time she looked after Rio - we had a great experience. Felicitas truly loves animals and during the first house sitting she spent time getting to know Rio and helping him to feel comfortable with her - even bringing toys to entertain him - all of which contributed to him being completely relaxed around her from the start of the second sitting - which for Rio is unheard of! Felicitas sent lots of photos and kept us updated on how he was doing, and left the house spotlessly clean. Couldn’t recommend enough!”

“Feel very lucky to have found Rebecca to take care of my two cats. She obviously adores animals and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her. She administered the cats’ medicine and I received photos of them every day.”

About: Hi my name is Erin :) I have a lovely VERY energetic dog at home and I also walk/ look after my Nans dog, so I am used to going on lots of walks with my 4 legged friends! I can provide fun walkies with your lovely pooches- long or short depending on your preference. I love to play around with doggies, play fetch or run around with them too if they have lots of energy! I don’t mind getting muddy or walking in the rain, the weather doesn’t bother me at all. I am easy with specific requests for your lovely dogs needs and will ensure they have a lovely time. Dogs just make the world a better place and I can’t wait to take care of and meet your lovely furry friends! :) I am a self employed professional dancer therefore I have a lot of time in between jobs! I am around most days of the week other than when I have an audition. About: I cared for a dog when I was younger, the past couple years I care for 2 cats that we own as a family, yet I miss times when I would take dog for a walk or play in the park. I am self-employed as a taxi driver, so I am very flexible, yet school run in the morning is blocked as I am taking my child to school around 8-9 am. House with fenced garden, a big park near home, 2 polite indoors only female cats to keep the company. I respect your home as I do my own.

“We thoroughly enjoyed our three drop in visits with Leiah! Riley had lovely walks and lots of TLC and attention from Leiah, exactly what she needs! We are booked in and looking forward to our first dog sit!”

About: I've been taking care of animals my entire life, having lived with and loved dogs, cats, guinea pigs, gerbils and even a pet slow worm! I currently have a 7-year-old mixed breed dog named Olive, a rescue from Athens, and live in a house with a 150ft garden that is a stone's throw from Chailey Common and several other fantastic dog walks. I work from home on an extremely flexible self-employed basis, so have all the time in the world to look after my pup and yours. I'm very adaptable and happy to stick to your pet's routines and allowances - whatever they need to stay feeling happy and secure! I do a lot of treat training with my dog so am happy and confident to do whatever is needed when on walks. I've got plenty of experience with reactive dogs too so don't fret if yours is a bit vocal when out and about.

About: Hello owners i have had cats throughout my life. My eldest cat passed away, he was my family cat I've had from when i was young. I will provide care, love and affection they need. I will give you photo updates throughout the day or stay!
About: I have taken care of dogs for as long as I can remember! I am currently doing a dog grooming course to learn more about dog and to spend even more time with them I’m currently working full time, but I want to start doing dog grooming and walking full time as I have always loved the idea of this. Eventually you should be about to hire me any time and any day When walking they will only walk on the path side not closes to the road this is important so there’s no chance of the dog getting to close to cars

He is a very well seasoned ' dog' petson with a very friendly young pointer ..Monty went on some great walks with Michael & his Pointer , and had a smashing time rolling in all sorts & came home exhausted! The great thing is that if you are reasonably local, Michael picks up & drops off !”

About: I have loved dogs my whole life and grew up surrounded by them. I raised my current dog from an 8-week-old puppy and successfully trained her, which gave me a huge sense of achievement. A few years ago, I offered pet-sitting services on Rover and loved meeting wonderful new dogs. Now, I want to share our home with more dogs. We live in a peaceful countryside retreat with direct access to lovely walks right from our doorstep. Most importantly, we have a private, secure 3-acre field where visiting dogs can run and play safely I previously offered pet-sitting services on Rover, but took a break while my children were young. Now that they are slightly older, I am excited to return to dog care! I work part-time in a school, which gives me excellent, predictable availability: Wednesdays: Fully free for dedicated dog walking and daycare services. Weekends: Available for overnight dog sitting and boarding. School Holidays: Open for longer, multi-day stays and extended bookings. Your dog will enjoy a true country retreat with us, including direct access to our private, secure 3-acre field. Our home is a welcoming countryside haven where your dog will be treated exactly like one of the family. This is the perfect spot for dogs who enjoy the company of other furry friends and gentle children. We have a friendly, laid-back Chocolate Lab and three children (aged 8 to 13) who have grown up around animals and are taught to be highly respectful of dogs' boundaries. Safety and space are our top priorities: Secure Garden: Completely fenced and safe for potty breaks. 3-Acre Private Field: Direct access to a fully secure, private field for off-lead running and playtime. We look forward to welcoming your dog into our home for a fun, safe, and loving stay!

About: My first word was Jas, our dogs name, a fact my mother frequently reminds me of. We then had Toby, a Golden Retriever who helped me learn to walk by allowing me to pull myself up using his ruff. Over the years my immediate family has had many pets and at one point we had 2 dogs, 5 cats, 9 Guinea pigs & 2 rabbits. As well as 3 children. Then there were the rats, Zippy,Bungle & George. So I have experience caring for a wide variety of fur babies. It’s been 15 years since I’ve had my own dog and now it’s just the cat & me. My eldest daughter (who lives abroad) has 6 dogs, 2 cats, 2 chinchillas, 2 ducks & 15 chickens. When I visit her there’s always a 4 legged furry who wants to play or is happy to cuddle. My younger daughter and my son have one dog each and as they both live in the UK I’m regularly asked to dog sit. My brother lives quite close by so I am lucky enough to have time with his adorable, ball crazy Sprocker. I am retired and recently widowed so am flexible with my availability. I have an elderly mother who lives nearby & I visit her several days a week for an hour or so. She too loves dogs & would be happy for me to take my new friends to visit her. I have a good size, secure garden to play in. I have an elderly cat who doesn’t like dogs but fortunately it is easy to segregate him to one part of the house. This works well when my grand dogs come to stay. I don’t drive so all walks would be on the lead road walks but the garden is a great place to play ball. I’m happy to dog walk or feed/cuddle/brush cats/ Guinea pigs/rabbits that live within reasonable walk (or bus ride) from my home.
“KiKi loves her time at Abbie’s, KiKi is a very energetic 4 month old but always comes home relaxed and happy. Abbie has been great with booking and we feel really comfortable leaving our pup with her. Would have no hesitation recommending Abbie!”

About: Me and my wife Zoe have been caring for dogs for over 15 years. I started looking after family dogs as a teenager and later assisted my sister with her dog-sitting business before moving to Edenbridge. I have extensive experience with dogs that are reactive or aggressive towards others, as well as those with specific medical or dietary needs. I also understand the importance of providing extra care and attention — whether that means gentle reassurance, plenty of strokes, or a good cuddle! I work from home full-time, so your dog will always have company — they’re welcome to sit with me in the office while I work. To keep things running smoothly, I usually ask that weekday drop-offs and pick-ups are before 10am, between 12–2pm, or after 5pm, but I can be flexible if you need different times. We have a fenced off garden with a decent sized lawn, as well as easy access to the local park, and large golf course for dogs who need longer walks.
About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by dogs, and today our home is happily shared with our much-loved 17-year-old cat and our gentle 18-month-old English Pointer. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do – it’s part of who I am. This is a true family effort – my husband and our two children (aged 12 and 13) are just as animal-mad as I am. Together, we provide a warm, friendly, and reliable environment where your pets will feel loved, safe, and cared for just like they’re part of our family. Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa, playtime in the garden, or gentle companionship for older pets, we treat every cat and dog with the same affection and attention we give our own. You can relax knowing your furry family members are in experienced, caring hands. Both my husband and I work from home full time and so are on hand to look after your pet 24/7. We have a Pointer so we’re out walking him at least 2-3 times a day either in a secure field or in the woods behind our house. Please let me know if you have any questions or specific needs as I can tailor my schedule around your pet. I have a secure garden and at night the animals are in the lounge/ kitchen diner. Can crate them if needed. We have a detached family home with lots of space to run around and play!

“Incredibly loving family. Our dog had the grearest time. Nelso is so attentive and treats our pup like his own. Best sitter we have ever had. We will 100% use them again.”

I have a fenced back garden for outside safe space, with no entry to the back, and I am not on a main road (front or back).

“Gareth and Carrie are friendly and welcomed Eddie into their home for his first stay with them. They updated us with photos and we felt very comfortable that Eddie was being well cared for. He came home shattered! Many thanks!”

“Lottie had a fantastic time with Ella and family, as well as with the lovely Georgie. Lots of lovely walks and cuddles. She came home a very happy girl. I would highly recommend Ella and will use her again. Thanks again Ella! Sarah Johnston”

About: Hi, I love getting out and about and going on long woodland or forest walks with a furry friend. I weekly help look after my sisters cocker spaniel and he stays with me occasionally when she needs overnight care for him. Would love a dog of my own but I work to much at the moment, so I’d love to help look after others. I’m a self employed hairdresser, I work 9-5 most days but can be flexible to help look after your fury friend as I work for myself. When those quiet months come along I can up the days that I can do boarding or walks etc so it’s always worth asking me for extra days and I can see if it fits in around my working schedule. I always have Wednesdays off and Sundays so these days are guaranteed for pet care. My garden is fully fenced in so there absolutely no chance you’re fury friend can make a break for it. I keep my home and garden very tidy and make sure i leave nothing in the floors to harm your pets.
“I was completely relaxed about leaving Zeb for his first overnight stay with Abbie last week. He had a couple of taster day visits to get to know each other and her dogs Dave and Bella. Zeb couldn’t have been more happy to see Abbie and from the photos she sent me he appeared to be having a great time while he was there! Abbie is very lovely and accommodating, I’m so pleased to have found her and that it has worked out so well.”

“My dog had a great time staying with Vitoria and Ross! They were very accommodating and sent photos and updates every day. Their place has a lovely yard for dogs to play around in. Will definitely be back :)”

“Betsy is a mature dog with separation anxiety, but any worries I had with leaving her were quickly eased by Kira sending the first photo of Betsy looking relaxed and calm before I had even boarded the plane, and she continued to send me multiple daily updates. Betsy arrived home after nearly two weeks looking happy and well, and I greatly appreciated Kira spending time talking about Betsy and her stay with me. I’ll have no hesitation leaving Betsy with Kira again, or recommending Kira to anyone else.”

“I have one very happy dog after his stay with Becky. When I’ve been away previously I’ve returned to a quick excited hello followed by the silent treatment. This time my boy was very happy and full of cuddles, he clearly felt loved with Becky and her family. Thank you for taking such good care of my boy. X”
