About: Throughout my life we’ve always had dogs, cats and even reptiles- from Yorkshire terriers and beared dragons up to Boa constrictors and our current Rottweilers I’ve personally trained 4 Rottweilers (3 males 1 bitch) and had the pleasure of raising over 30 pups over the years. As with all big dogs it’s a short life and we’ve recently lost 3 of our 4 (13yrs, 12yrs and 11yrs) a great innings considering their life expectancy we lost our girl due to old age and two males due to cancer- Due to the incredible focus needed to have these breeds it’s given me and my partner great first hand experience of dealing with power, reactive behaviour and general big dog issues. We swear and live by proactive measures ensuring that we avoid tense situations and all cost and do all teaching via reinforcement and care. We spend all and every weekend exploring the uk countryside with Odin, so we’re looking to be able to care for dogs that fit into that lifestyle We live on a large boat, which is out of the water at the moment- we have safety nets and ramps set up so all areas are accessible and safe. Any dog staying with us overnight will have their own cabin onboard :)

My dogs have a few issues that could be off putting to some (one is reactive to dogs and the other is very old with disabilities) - but nothing was too much trouble! About: Hi, I'm Paris! I'm a dedicated and passionate vet student studying in Guildford. I'm a huge lover of all animals, but am especially partial to doggies. I like to work with all different types of dog and strive to keep them engaged and entertained whether on walks or at home. Being a vet student has some perks as I've learnt about animal behaviour and welfare as well as how to properly care for your animal. Growing up I've had a variety of animals from fish and guinea pigs to dogs cats and horses many of which have been rescues, so am confident in my ability to deal with different animals with different temperaments. I understand the importance of routine, exercise and companionship, and I strive to create a safe loving environment for every pet I look after. I am also a qualified dog first aider which reassures you your dog is in safe hands. As part of dog walking services, walks can be from 30 minutes up to an hour and a half dependent on the indivdual dog's needs and as discussed with owner. Off lead walking is dependent on how comfortable the owner is and how developed the dogs recall is, this however will be discussed with the owner. I am also available to do house visits in which I can let out your pooch, feed and provide some company for them. Or pet sit in which I care for them for a prolonged period of time, duties would then be discussed with owner. Whether its feeding, walking, administering medication, or simply offering cuddles I treat every pet as if they were my own.

About: I have been fostering dogs, old, young, and sick for 5 years. We adopted our lurcher 2 years ago. He is a playful 2 year old, so I need to use treats/ and discipline quite a lot. I have had dogs growing up, and just love to be around all types of dog. I’m at home most of the time. Not currently back at work after maternity leave. I take my dog out at least once a day. So can fit something in most days! I have a fully fenced garden and gate. The house is open plan, however if you need your dog cornered off or my dog cornered off we have baby gates everywhere to help with that.

About: I have a wide variety of experience with multiple animals such as dogs, cats, horses and smaller - such as rodents! I’m happy to handle large dogs also. I have a diploma in land based animal studies and have completed a level 2 pet first aid course. I’m fully insured and dbs checked. Currently, I only have a few pets that require my care! My dog gets walked once a day and is crate trained so I have a few hours available during the day for walks and pop ins. Overnight stays, she would be cared for by my lovely family! So she won’t be neglected while I care for your furries. I will always go over your routine (if any) with your pet to ensure their day to day life isn’t changed too much. “Finding Flora has made such a difference to future holidays! I’ve never let Winnie stay with anyone other than her one usual family sitter. After a short notice cancellation I thought I would have to cancel my holiday. Boarding kennels was not an option and by chance we found Rover. I was sceptical at first and didn’t think it was going to work for us especially as it was for 5 days. I contacted Flora and immediately liked her clear communication and general questions that already made me feel Winnie would have the proper care she needed. After meeting with Flora at her family home I knew straight away I was doing the right thing and Winnie was going to be looked after by a wonderful family and have some friends to play with while we was away. I received multiple photos of Winnie while away and she looked like she had slotted right in and was very content. Thank you so much Flora Winnie can’t wait for her next stay!”

Daisy and her husband took lovely care of her during her stay and sent me some photos of Gaia relaxing with them on the sofa. She certainly looked as though she felt at home.
