My 1st experience using Rover and I have to admit I was nervous about leaving my boy. I met up with Jessica twice before booking and I could see my dog was going to be ok with them. My dog seemed to be relaxed and at ease with them. I had daily updates and photos which I really appreciated and it helped me relax on holiday knowing he was well looked after. I would definitely book again without hestitation.

I have made the best decision leaving my little teenage Italian greyhound with Philippa. Not only did she ensure he had the most fantastic time, she went above and beyond to keep him comfortable. She really listened to my needs and instructions as well as sending me regular updates on his journey. I trust her with my dog and will be going to her in the future. She also took him out for adventurous walks and gave him cuddles.

We hatted o an hour and my dog wnet between the two of us, showing me how much she has loved being with Chris. I will DEFINITELY be using her again. I can't believe my luck finding such a wonderful dog minder, thank you Chris.

About: I have had dogs in the past, in the family home, from when I was 11, small, medium and large! I would love a dog now but unfortunately I cannot financially commit to one at the moment. I have a daughter who is 7 and also loves animals, she is so kind and gentle. She is constantly asking dog owners if she can say hello to their dogs and making lots of new furry friends. We have looked after our neighbours, friends and my sisters dog. I work from home most weekdays, days off Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I Love animals, the outdoors and keeping fit and healthy. Be lovely to help others and give your dog some company, love and walks / runs! 🐾 ❤️ I mainly work from home Monday to Thursday 8.30-4pm, go to the office a couple of times a month. So I could give your dog some company from my home, and walks on my break/s. Or if local I can pop over to see to your dog or take them out. I am off Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I enjoy going for slow or fast, short or long walks and runs, so can provide the exercise your dog requires. I have a fenced back garden for outside safe space, with no entry to the back, and I am not on a main road (front or back).

Georgina provided a wonderful home away from home for our cockapoo Bailey whilst we were on holiday. He settled with her so well and we returned to a happy well cared for dog. Georgina was super prompt with messaging, and general communication prior to Bailey’s stay, and kept in regular contact whilst we were away, sending photos and videos, which was so reassuring for us. I will definitely use Georgina again, and can’t recommend her enough. We feel lucky to have found her!

Eleanor was brilliant with our Staffy, Peggy. Peggy had a great week with her and her family, she enjoyed lots of cuddles and also enjoyed all the sticks she could find in the very extensive woodland that is out the back of the house! Eleanor kept us updated with how Peggy was and managed the medication she has everyday without any issue. Overall very pleased to have found her and would recommend for dog boarding.

About: I have always been an animal lover. I grew up with cats, rabbits and guinea pigs. Since becoming a home owner 6 years ago I quickly rescued my first dog Flora and fell in love. Shortly after I then rehomed my second dog Frankie. I see them as my children. Whenever family or friends are away I always jump at the chance to pet sit. I live near 2 fields perfect for walkies and just a short walk to tilgate forest where we often go. I have a lovely fenced garden, perfect for playing and treat hunting. My home also has stair gates, perfect for slow and gradual introductions which I believe is key. I am a true believer that dogs are better than people. I look forward to giving your pets the love and fuss they all deserve. I currently work part time, 3 days a week, so will have plenty of time to look after your pets. When I am home, I rarely go out meaning your pets would have company almost all of the time. I am happy to have your dog all week if they are able to be left on the days that I work, this is open to discussion. I have a large fenced garden and a home over 2 floors with stair gates to give all pets space if needed. All dogs are allowed on furniture and beds. I will offer a home from home environment for your fur babies.

About: Dogs have always been a huge part of my life. I’ve grown up with dogs and have had them by my side all through the years, so caring for them feels completely natural to me. I have my own dog now and understand how much they become part of the family. Whether it’s playtime, cuddles, walks, or simply giving them the attention and reassurance they need, I love making sure every dog feels safe and loved. I know how important it is to leave your furry friend with someone you trust, and I’d love to help give them a fun, happy day while you’re away. I work from home three times a week, my job is flexible so I will have lots of time to give your dog lots of attention. I'm planning to cut my hours soon so will hopefully have even more time in the near future! I have a very secure fenced garden and large kitchen for the dogs to run around freely. I have a dog of my own a very friendly and sociable Dalmatian so he'll be able to play and keep your dog company.

About: I've had dogs of all ages throughout my life, with varied healthcare needs; I know that all dogs are different, and you need to be led by them, especially when you dont know each other! Leaving a pet with a new person can nerve-wracking, but I'd give the peace of mind of your pooch being left with someone who really cares for their wellbeing. Very flexible working for home currently, so available to fit my routine around whatever the dogs need - can give very regular walks and toilet breaks, and keep an eye on them as much as is needed. I have a secure fenced garden, with plenty of space for them to have a run around. They'll have access to as much of the property as you'd like.

Bernadette took amazing care of Bacon for 8 nights and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. ❤️ I received updates every single day which made me feel relieved and able to enjoy my holiday knowing he was in good hands. Bacon got plenty of exercise and had lots of fun playing with her two dogs. Bernadette followed all instructions perfectly and it really showed in how relaxed and happy Bacon was when I picked him up. I’m extremely happy with her care. Thank you so much, Bernadette! 🐶🐾❤️

About: I’ve cared for many cats over the years, both my own and those of close friends while they’ve been away on holiday. I understand how important it is to know your cat is safe, comfortable, and well cared for in your absence. I was lucky enough to share my home with three cats of my own, with my eldest living to the wonderful age of 17 before illness eventually took its toll. Caring for her through every stage of life — from playful adulthood to his senior years — gave me a deep understanding of feline behaviour, health changes, and the gentle patience older cats need. Whether your cat is energetic and playful or prefers a quiet lap and routine, I provide calm, attentive care tailored to their personality, always treating them as if they were my own.

About: Cats have always had a special place in my heart and are, without a doubt, my favourite animals. I was lucky enough to grow up with three cats throughout my childhood, so I’ve been around cats for as long as I can remember. Living with them taught me to understand their different personalities, body language, and routines, and I know that every cat enjoys affection on their own terms! Sadly, I can’t have a cat of my own now because my partner is allergic, so being able to care for other people’s cats is something I genuinely love. Whether your cat enjoys lots of attention and playtime or prefers a quieter companion who respects their space, I’m happy to adapt to whatever makes them feel most comfortable. I am that girl that makes friends with all the stray cats when i’m aboard. If I could, I’d bring every single one of them home with me!

About: Hello! I am a passionate, Crawley-based cat care specialist dedicated to providing the highest standard of safety, comfort, and love for your feline family members. Cats are my absolute world, and I am currently focusing on growing my part-time cat sitting services into a full-time career. Because I manage a flexible part-time schedule, I am highly adaptable and available at short notice for drop-in visits—whether you have an unexpected late day at work, a weekend getaway, or an upcoming holiday. My Feline Care Experience My journey with animal care began when I was 13 years old, and over the last decade, cats have become my core passion and specialty. I am the proud owner of a wonderful 11-year-old senior cat. Caring for her throughout her journey into her golden years has given me deep, firsthand knowledge of senior feline behavior, specialized routines, and how to closely monitor subtle signs of health or comfort changes. In addition to caring for my own senior cat, I am the designated caregiver for my family's cats (and dogs) whenever my mum goes away on holiday. This hands-on experience has taught me how to read feline body language accurately, respect their personal boundaries, and gently win over even the most independent or timid cats. I understand that every cat has a distinct personality—some thrive on interactive play and affection, while others prefer a quiet, predictable environment with a reassuring check-in. Safety & Peace of Mind: First Aid Certified Your cat’s safety and health are my absolute priorities when entering your home. To ensure your pets are in the absolute safest hands possible, I hold a formal certificate in Animal First Aid and CPR. I know exactly how to recognise early indicators of distress, monitor vital health signs, and act swiftly and calmly in any unexpected medical situation. What I Offer During Every Drop-In Visit: * Fresh food and water refreshes tailored strictly to your feeding instructions. * Detailed litter box scooping, cleanup, and area tidying. * Engaging playtime with favorite toys or calm, gentle companionship. * Real-time updates, visit notes, and high-quality photo check-ins after every single visit. I treat every cat in my care with the exact same devotion, respect, and vigilance that I give to my own beloved senior cat. I look forward to meeting you and your feline companions during a free initial Meet and Greet!

Felicitas is amazing! She’s just stayed at our house looking after our cat Rio whilst we’ve been away and just like the first time she looked after Rio - we had a great experience. Felicitas truly loves animals and during the first house sitting she spent time getting to know Rio and helping him to feel comfortable with her - even bringing toys to entertain him - all of which contributed to him being completely relaxed around her from the start of the second sitting - which for Rio is unheard of! Felicitas sent lots of photos and kept us updated on how he was doing, and left the house spotlessly clean. Couldn’t recommend enough!

About: Hi, I love getting out and about and going on long woodland or forest walks with a furry friend. I weekly help look after my sisters cocker spaniel and he stays with me occasionally when she needs overnight care for him. Would love a dog of my own but I work to much at the moment, so I’d love to help look after others. When those quiet months come along I can up the days that I can do boarding or walks etc so it’s always worth asking me for extra days and I can see if it fits in around my working schedule. I always have Wednesdays off and Sundays so these days are guaranteed for pet care. My garden is fully fenced in so there absolutely no chance you’re fury friend can make a break for it. I keep my home and garden very tidy and make sure i leave nothing in the floors to harm your pets.

About: I have loved dogs my whole life and grew up surrounded by them. I raised my current dog from an 8-week-old puppy and successfully trained her, which gave me a huge sense of achievement. A few years ago, I offered pet-sitting services on Rover and loved meeting wonderful new dogs. Now, I want to share our home with more dogs. We live in a peaceful countryside retreat with direct access to lovely walks right from our doorstep. Most importantly, we have a private, secure 3-acre field where visiting dogs can run and play safely I previously offered pet-sitting services on Rover, but took a break while my children were young. Now that they are slightly older, I am excited to return to dog care! I work part-time in a school, which gives me excellent, predictable availability: Wednesdays: Fully free for dedicated dog walking and daycare services. Weekends: Available for overnight dog sitting and boarding. School Holidays: Open for longer, multi-day stays and extended bookings. Your dog will enjoy a true country retreat with us, including direct access to our private, secure 3-acre field. Our home is a welcoming countryside haven where your dog will be treated exactly like one of the family. This is the perfect spot for dogs who enjoy the company of other furry friends and gentle children. We have a friendly, laid-back Chocolate Lab and three children (aged 8 to 13) who have grown up around animals and are taught to be highly respectful of dogs' boundaries. Safety and space are our top priorities: Secure Garden: Completely fenced and safe for potty breaks. 3-Acre Private Field: Direct access to a fully secure, private field for off-lead running and playtime. We look forward to welcoming your dog into our home for a fun, safe, and loving stay!

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life. I grew up surrounded by dogs, and today our home is happily shared with our much-loved 17-year-old cat and our gentle 18-month-old English Pointer. Caring for animals isn’t just something I do – it’s part of who I am. This is a true family effort – my husband and our two children (aged 12 and 13) are just as animal-mad as I am. Together, we provide a warm, friendly, and reliable environment where your pets will feel loved, safe, and cared for just like they’re part of our family. Whether it’s cuddles on the sofa, playtime in the garden, or gentle companionship for older pets, we treat every cat and dog with the same affection and attention we give our own. You can relax knowing your furry family members are in experienced, caring hands. Both my husband and I work from home full time and so are on hand to look after your pet 24/7. We have a Pointer so we’re out walking him at least 2-3 times a day either in a secure field or in the woods behind our house. Please let me know if you have any questions or specific needs as I can tailor my schedule around your pet. I have a secure garden and at night the animals are in the lounge/ kitchen diner. Can crate them if needed. We have a detached family home with lots of space to run around and play!

About: I've been an animal lover my whole life and have shared my home with all sorts of pets over the years, including a Cocker Spaniel, cats, hamsters and tortoises. Caring for animals has always come naturally to me, and I understand how important it is for dogs to feel safe, settled and loved while they're away from their owners. Whether it's sticking to a familiar routine or just plenty of cuddles, I'll always treat your dog as if they were one of my own. I have a five-year-old Cockerpoo called Daisy, who weighs around 10kg. She's wonderfully friendly and brilliant with other dogs — there's nothing she loves more than heading to the park for a walk with her doggy friends, so she'd be lovely company for any pup coming to stay.. I offer both doggy day care and overnight boarding for small to medium dogs (up to 10kg). I am happy to follow your dog's usual routine and send you regular updates, so you can relax and enjoy your time away knowing they're in safe, loving hands. Pet care fits very naturally into my daily and weekly routine because I work from home, which gives me a high level of flexibility and availability throughout the day. On a daily basis, I’m able to build pet care into my normal schedule without any disruption. During the working day, I’m present for regular check-ins and reassurance, short play sessions or quick walks, monitoring behaviour, health, and comfort, maintaining feeding schedules or giving medication if needed. Your dog's safety and happiness will always come first. I only look after small to medium dogs up to 10kg, which keeps playtime gentle and nicely matched, and I am very happy to follow any instructions you have around food, medication or little habits so your dog feels right at home. My home is a calm and friendly place where dogs are treated as one of the family rather than just a guest. Your dog will have plenty of cosy spots to relax in, lots of company from my friendly Cockerpoo Daisy, and regular walks to the local park for some fresh air and a good sniff about. I know it can be hard leaving your dog with someone new, so I’ll send you plenty of photos and updates while they're with me. You can head off knowing they're safe, settled and thoroughly spoiled until you're back together.

Bernadette is a lovely lady:) She’s taking care of Bacon so well. With her massive garden and plenty of space for him to running around. I have a beagle and with zero recall I was quite nervous but Bernadette’s house is fully fenced and secure for this little escape artist. Bacon loves her two dogs Beauty and Bubbles. When I picked him up… he looks sad and never wants to come home with me. He was so obsessed running around chasing with the new scents and it was so great to see him happy 🥹❤️🫶🏼🐾 thank you so much Bernadette. We will see you again soon.

About: I’m Helena, I'm 25 and a lifelong animal lover with years of professional pet sitting and dog walking experience in the UK and Australia.

I’ve grown up surrounded by all kinds of animals, from dogs and cats to hamsters, guinea pigs, fish and birds, and I genuinely love the company of animals. Over the years, I’ve cared for dogs of all ages, sizes and personalities, including dogs with specific routines, behavioural quirks and medication needs.

I know that every pet is different, so I always take the time to understand their individual personality, routine and what makes them feel happy and comfortable. Whether your dog needs a good walk, some company during the day, plenty of cuddles or simply someone reliable to keep them to their usual routine, I’m very happy to help.

I now live in the UK with my partner, Jack, who is also a huge animal lover and has grown up around dogs and other animals. He has several years of experience pet sitting alongside me and, when available, is able to help with walks and pet care too. Between us, we have plenty of experience looking after pets and we absolutely adore having animals around!

We’re friendly, reliable and respectful of your home, and we’ll always treat your pets as if they were our own.

We’d love to meet you and your pets 🐾 Jack and I both work from home a couple of days each week, with some flexibility around our schedules for pet sitting. On those days, your dog will have plenty of company and attention, with a good lunchtime walk and lots of opportunities for cuddles and play throughout the day. At weekends, we’re completely free to spend time with your dog, whether that’s a relaxed day at home with plenty of cuddles, or heading out for a fun walk and an adventure together! We’re very happy to fit in with your dog’s usual routine and make sure they get the care, exercise and attention they’re used to. We treat every dog as if it’s our own. We want every pet to feel happy and relaxed while they’re with us. If we are dog sitting in your home, we treat your home as we’d want ours to be treated - we will always be clean and respect your space. In our home, we have a fully fenced garden with plenty of space for dogs to enjoy some fresh air and playtime. We’re experienced and comfortable caring for dogs with different routines, personalities and needs - just let us know!

About: I grew up with dogs in my home all my life and also had a cat, so caring for animals has always been part of my everyday routine. I’ve worked in a grooming parlour where I washed, handled and cared for dogs of all sizes, giving me hands‑on experience with different temperaments and needs. Friends and family often rely on me to look after their cats, so I’m very comfortable with feline personalities and routines too. I’m reliable, gentle and always make sure every pet feels safe, understood and well cared for. I have a flexible weekly routine, which means I can easily fit pet care into my day. I’m available throughout the week for walks, drop‑ins and sitting, and I always make sure I have enough time to give each pet proper attention, play and care. Your pet will never feel rushed or overlooked! When pets stay in my home, I make sure they have a calm, safe space to relax and settle in. I have a fenced garden where they can enjoy secure outdoor time, and I always supervise them to keep things safe. I follow each pet’s usual routine so they feel comfortable and at ease. When I’m caring for pets in an owner’s home, I respect their space, stick closely to feeding and walk schedules, and follow any instructions you leave. Whether in my home or yours, I focus on creating a trusting, consistent environment where pets feel happy and well cared for 🐶🐈

About: We’re a large, friendly family with 4 children and our fluffy Cavapoo, Arlo, aged 3.5. He loves to have a playmate! Philippa works from home and Elisa is a teacher so we’re both around during school holidays. Large house and secure garden, big enough to run around in. We live on the Worth Way, East Grinstead, so 3-5 mile countryside walks are on our doorstep, and part of our daily routine. Can also accommodate shorter walks for dogs who need less exercise than Arlo! Our children split their time between us and their other parents, so there are days when we have an adult-only house if your dog prefers grown-up company. Philippa works flexibility from home with regular breaks for dog-care during the day. Depending on daylight and weather, each day includes a 3-5 mile walk and plenty of free time for dogs in the garden. Our dog sits at Philippa’s feet while she working, and other dogs are free to do the same, or find a comfy spot elsewhere downstairs. School runs between East Grinstead and Tunbridge Wells: between 7.15 and 8.30am, and 3.30 and 5.30 can be used to collect/drop off other dogs if the location works. Weekends are busy with children’s hobbies but an adult is usually at home and we’re happy to take other dogs out with us where we can. Arlo enjoys the company of other dogs. We have a secure back garden and astro turf so that dogs (and kids) can enjoy the garden all year round - mud free! Arlo sleeps in an open crate downstairs in the office overnight, but we can accommodate other dogs’ sleeping preferences, although we would prefer not to have them in our bedroom. We have an internal front porch, which means we can open the front door without worrying about Arlo and other dogs escaping on to the main road. Arlo is walked both on and off the lead, but we would follow owners’ wishes about walking. While our children might be present while we take care of your dog, they won’t be responsible for your dog’s care.

About: Hi, I’m Sophie! I’ve been pet sitting through an established company and have loved getting to know so many wonderful pets and their owners. I’ve now decided to branch out on my own so I can offer a wider range of services, including pet sitting, cat visits, and dog walking. Alongside pet sitting, I recently graduated from university in 2025 and work in a professional role. My career has helped me develop qualities that I bring into every booking – I’m responsible, trustworthy, organised, and dependable. I’m also Enhanced DBS checked, so you can feel confident that your pets and home are in safe hands. I mainly work from home, which means I have the flexibility to give pets plenty of time, attention, and company throughout the day. Whether your pet loves playtime, long walks, cuddles on the sofa, or simply having someone around, I’ll always tailor my care to their routine and individual needs. I have two rabbits of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can completely trust with your pets. I’d love to have a cat myself, but unfortunately my partner is allergic, so caring for other people’s cats is the next best thing! I also enjoy getting outdoors, so dog walking is something I genuinely look forward to. I’m experienced in administering medication and have cared for pets with a wide range of personalities and needs. I also volunteered at a dog rescue, where I regularly walked larger and dog-reactive dogs, giving me confidence handling dogs that require extra patience, awareness, and calm leadership. One thing that’s really important to me is communication. I know how difficult it can be leaving your pet with someone new, so I’ll always keep you updated with regular photos, messages, and plenty of reassurance while you’re away. I genuinely treat every pet as if they were my own and would love the opportunity to meet you and your furry family! I love forward to hearing from you 🩷 I mainly work from home, which gives me plenty of flexibility throughout the day. I can usually work around your pet’s routine, and I have a flexible lunch break that I can take at different times depending on what’s needed. This means I’m able to provide toilet breaks, walks, playtime, feeding, and plenty of company during the day rather than leaving pets alone for long periods. At weekends, I love getting out and about with dogs. Whether it’s a trip to a dog-friendly café, a wander around a garden centre, or jumping in the car to explore a new walking spot, I enjoy making dogs part of my plans. Of course, every outing is tailored to your dog’s personality, energy levels, and your preferences, so they’ll always have a fun, safe, and enriching time. Whether your pet enjoys an active adventure or simply relaxing at home with company, I’m happy to adapt my schedule to suit their needs and make sure they feel comfortable, loved, and well cared for. I have two friendly rabbits who have their own dedicated bedroom. Their room has both a door and a stair gate, meaning they’re completely separate from any visiting pets to ensure everyone’s safety and comfort. My garden is a woodland-style space with lots of greenery and even a little stream running through it. As it isn’t fully enclosed, I never allow dogs off lead in the garden. Instead, they are safely supervised on a long line, so they can still enjoy exploring, sniffing, and spending time outside while remaining completely secure.

Our dog Mac is very anxious, but Angus proved to be the perfect person to look after him. Together with Zoe, he looked after Mac with great patience and calmness and kept us really well informed about how Mac was settling in. Can’t recommend Angus highly enough and will be returning to him with Mac soon.

Carly and her beautiful family looked after my most precious dog, Nahla, over the weekend. It was the first time Nahla stayed in their home, and she clearly had the best time. She came back after one night and two days completely exhausted which, as every dog owner knows, means a very happy dog 🥰 I received updates whenever I asked, and every photo showed a relaxed, smiling, and clearly well-loved pup 😍 I highly recommend Carly to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and genuinely loving place for their pet to stay ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I’m a self employed hairdresser, I work 9-5 most days but can be flexible to help look after your fury friend as I work for myself.

Sammy was fantastic! She took my booking pretty last minute after I was let down by a friend and there was no fuss. She really kept me updated over the whole weekend with pics and videos which was lovely. She was really accommodating with my plans changing, too. Bodhi had a great time and there was no fuss at all… he came home happy and didn’t seem to be totally upset like he usually is when I leave him which made me relax. I will 100 percent use her again if she would have Bodhi LOVE HER!! X

Betsy is a mature dog with separation anxiety, but any worries I had with leaving her were quickly eased by Kira sending the first photo of Betsy looking relaxed and calm before I had even boarded the plane, and she continued to send me multiple daily updates. Betsy arrived home after nearly two weeks looking happy and well, and I greatly appreciated Kira spending time talking about Betsy and her stay with me. I’ll have no hesitation leaving Betsy with Kira again, or recommending Kira to anyone else.

About: I had a small dog that passed away, and now I have a Labrador who is very loving and playful with humans and dogs of all breeds. About my personality and care style, I am a calm, patient approach that helps anxious pets feel safe also I treat every pet like my own ensuring trust and comfort. I'm self-employed, so I can take any day or days off, as long as they are booked in advance, and I would organize my week myself. I have a large, very secure garden so no pet can escape. There's also a huge park just a 12-minute walk from my house. I also have a car where I can transport any pet, and of course, I have plenty of tennis balls and toys since I have a one-year-and-three-month-old Labrador who is very playful with humans and other dogs. Rachel and her fam immediately put us at ease leaving Barney with them for the first time. They are very welcoming and have a lovely home. We received photos throughout the stay, and Barney made a new best friend in Quin, they even shared a bed together:) When I picked him up he was happy, relaxed and had a good long nap. Rachel was also very flexible in extending the stay on short notice. Thank you Rachel and hope to see you soon! Therese
