I was sent regular updates and pictures and knew that my boy was being looked after, walked and most importantly had lots of cuddles (he is a bit of a cuddle buddy). We set up a meet and greet before our stay to make sure this was a good fit and that everyone was happy and comfortable. “Tommy and his family kindly agreed to take our 2 Jack Russell’s - never easy as typical JRs! - and from the initial visit the dogs seemed at home, were in safe hands, and were going to receive all the care and attention they probably never get in a larger kennel environment. This made going away for a long weekend a much more relaxing time that it could have been. Tommy clearly had a love for animals and kept us updated throughout the weekend - again, a much valued way of knowing everything was ok. Would definitely re-book with complete confidence and fully recommend. Great to see someone with that passion trying to establish himself in this field too.”

We’ve both grown up with pets and have experience having cats and dogs of our own. We understand how important it is to leave your pets with someone you can trust. This was the first time I had ever left my dog with a sitter and I was anxious about it as my dog can get quite upset when left even with family members 😞 We had a family wedding to go to and were going to be out for a long time but Jess put my mind at ease! About: I've always had a really great relationship with dogs, and was lucky enough to become an owner 7 years ago, when I rescued Gyp from a charity in China. A year later, I brought him back to the UK and lived in a house with 4 other dogs, who I regularly walked, played and cuddled with. As a rescue, Gyp can be very anxious and needs reassurance, so I'm very good at spotting when he's stressed, and I'm really good at keeping a calm and consistent environment for him. Later, I adopted Smokey, who was a senior dog, and so had very different needs to Gyp. Sadly we lost Smokey last year due to his old age. I always make sure the dogs get plenty of attention and exercise, and they're never left alone for more than 5 hours (usually it's much less than that). The house is very dog friendly - Gyp loves cuddles on the sofa and in bed. And I have a fenced garden for them to enjoy too. My dog is my number one priority, and yours would be treated no differently when they came to stay. I work from home during the day, so spend a lot of time with them then, and pop out in the evenings for work for a few hours - I'm never gone longer than 5 hours. On Saturdays I'm at home all day, and Sunday mornings I go out to teach, but again, no longer than 5 hours I would be solely responsible for your pet whilst they are staying with me. I have a fenced garden and one lovely dog to keep your dog company. I have plenty of towels for drying down if we get wet in the rain, and plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable I have a good routine with the dogs - food and walk in both the morning and the evening, but we can adapt easily to suit the needs of your pet.

Our family dogs both lived to be 14, so I’m experienced with managing age-related conditions (such as heart issues and arthritis) and adjusting activities to each dog’s pace. Whether your dog needs a calm companion at home or a brisk lunchtime walk to burn off energy, I’ll make sure they get the care and attention they need, with lots of love along the way. I work full time from home, so am available as a companion for your dog through the day. I can take them on walks at lunch and/or after work, and can make sure they have frequent access to outside if required. At the weekend, we can extend walk times to suit your dog’s fitness. We are expecting a baby in January 2026, so our availability is reduced from then while we settle in as a family. We have a fenced garden, and many cosy dog beds dotted about the house. We have a stair gate to fence off upstairs if you’re worried about access to stairs, and our downstairs has LVT flooring which is not too slippy (geriatric dog approved!) so they shouldn’t have any difficulty scamping around. We also have a 13-year-old male Pugalier, who loves the company of other dogs. He will be happy to settle down next to them for a snooze, or watch avidly while your dog plays with toys.

Can also walk dogs alone if they prefer. I can work my day around your pets needs as working from home. About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals, and I always feel a real sense of comfort and joy when I'm around them. My love for dogs started when I spent lots of time with my grandad's lovely dog, Dooley. I’ve always considered myself a “dog person” because I enjoy building trust and forming bonds with them. Additionally, I completed a Level 2 Animal Care qualification, which deepened my knowledge of animal welfare, safe handling, and everyday care routines. I also had the wonderful opportunity to work in a cattery for a month, gaining practical experience caring for cats—feeding, cleaning, monitoring their wellbeing, and making sure they felt comfortable and relaxed. Plus, I share my life with my adorable Jackie Bichon, Annie, which has given me firsthand insight into the responsibilities, routines, and attention that pets need daily. I make sure pets are always supervised and never left unattended, and I keep everything calm and secure so they can relax and settle in properly. I also make sure pets are fed good-quality food and follow their usual feeding routine exactly as provided by the owner. I take walks and outdoor time seriously, and the goal is always to get the dogs out a couple of times a day, depending on their needs, energy levels, and usual routine. When I’m in someone else’s home, I respect their space and follow all instructions carefully. I stick closely to feeding times, walk schedules, and any specific care needs so the pet’s routine stays consistent and stress-free. In both cases, I focus on keeping things calm, simple, and familiar for the pet so they feel safe and well cared for while their owner is away.

About: Me and my partner Ben have grown up with dogs in the family. We love dog sitting for our families and friends. Due to our shifts we can’t commit to a dog full time, so would love taking care of others when we can! Even though me and my boyfriend work shifts, and often we’re not working the same days each week, it means that we have bulk days off so we do have some flexibility. About: i’ve worked with reactive, elderly, and special needs dogs whilst also having a level 4 qualification in canine behaviour and training. i’m capable to work with bigger dogs etc. i also have my own high energy dog. i’m currently working around 4 days a week however my shifts change weekly depending on booking numbers. dog walking 2/3 times a day still fits around my schedule My garden is securely fenced off and gated however it is next to a canal/ river so greyhound type dogs may be able to jump the fence.

All of my dogs have been rescues/unwanted dogs who came to me for their forever home. My two elderley dogs have passed away over the last 2 years so I currently have no pets in the home. I do now own 2 horses which is a significant financial responsibility so have decided not to take on any more pets for the time being. I do miss having a dog around the house. I work from home full time and own some land which is perfect for exercising dogs so I do have a good lifestyle and environment for a canine companion! I have my own business which I run from home full time. I also own a 4 acre secure paddock where I keep my horses. It is perfect for exercising active dogs who need a good run or for dogs who are best excercised away from other dogs. I have a good sized secure garden and plenty of space within the home. I am usually home most of the day and evening. If i do need to go out its 2-3 hrs max. I use a reward based approach rather than disciplining dogs. I aim to provide a calm and engaging environment I only take one households dogs at a time so your dogs will get full attention and there is no need to worry about any incidents with other dogs in the house.

About: Hi I’m Maxine a 50 year old Mum of 3 older children, 1 stubborn Tibetan Terrier and 2 lazy cats. I had my own dog walking business for 3 years from 2017 until it ended in COVID. Since recently being made redundant I have returned to dog walking part time and I’m loving being back outside walking. I’m happy to walk dogs on or off lead, solo or very small group walks. My own dog Ralph is reactive and anxious so I’m comfortable adapting to your own dogs needs. I’m currently a full time housewife with 3 teenagers so have plenty of spare time on my hands. I do like to be finished work by 3pm as I still have after school activities. I’m afraid that I don’t offer home sitting or boarding I’m afraid as this wouldn’t suit my cats and dog at home.

This made going away for a long weekend a much more relaxing time that it could have been. Tommy clearly had a love for animals and kept us updated throughout the weekend - again, a much valued way of knowing everything was ok. About: I've always had a really great relationship with dogs, and was lucky enough to become an owner 7 years ago, when I rescued Gyp from a charity in China. A year later, I brought him back to the UK and lived in a house with 4 other dogs, who I regularly walked, played and cuddled with. As a rescue, Gyp can be very anxious and needs reassurance, so I'm very good at spotting when he's stressed, and I'm really good at keeping a calm and consistent environment for him. Later, I adopted Smokey, who was a senior dog, and so had very different needs to Gyp. Sadly we lost Smokey last year due to his old age. I always make sure the dogs get plenty of attention and exercise, and they're never left alone for more than 5 hours (usually it's much less than that). The house is very dog friendly - Gyp loves cuddles on the sofa and in bed. And I have a fenced garden for them to enjoy too. My dog is my number one priority, and yours would be treated no differently when they came to stay. I work from home during the day, so spend a lot of time with them then, and pop out in the evenings for work for a few hours - I'm never gone longer than 5 hours. On Saturdays I'm at home all day, and Sunday mornings I go out to teach, but again, no longer than 5 hours I would be solely responsible for your pet whilst they are staying with me. I have a fenced garden and one lovely dog to keep your dog company. I have plenty of towels for drying down if we get wet in the rain, and plenty of space for everyone to feel comfortable I have a good routine with the dogs - food and walk in both the morning and the evening, but we can adapt easily to suit the needs of your pet.
