“Tracey is a real find. We can go away leaving our rescue dog Ziggy with Tracey knowing she'll be treated as one of the family. Knowing your dog is being so well cared for, and being kept up to date daily with all the fun they're having makes your own holiday so much better because it's guilt-free! Many thanks.”

“I can not thank shahnaz and Andrew enough for looking after our Bailey. They made both Bailey and ourselves welcome and therefore happy leaving Bailey with them, cannot recommend them enough I will definitely being happy to leave Bailey with them again”

“Eva was absolutely amazing with Luna! From the moment we met her, it was clear how much she genuinely cares about animals. She kept us updated throughout the stay with photos and messages, which gave us complete peace of mind while we were away. Luna can be a little particular about her routine, but Eva followed all of our instructions perfectly and treated her like she was part of her own family. When I picked Luna up, she was happy, relaxed, and clearly well cared for. It was obvious that she received plenty of love, attention, playtime, and cuddles during her stay. Finding someone you trust with your dog is priceless, and Eva exceeded every expectation. We couldn’t have asked for a better sitter. I would recommend her without hesitation to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and professional dog sitter. Luna can’t wait for her next stay with Eva! Thank you again, Eva, for taking such wonderful care of my girl!”

“Rosie has had such a fun day!!!! Lovely walks and lots of fuss, she's certainly felt relaxed and at home. Jonathan and his wife looked after Rosie really well for the day. Thankyou 😊”

“Issy had a wonderful time with Shaun and his family.he was excellent with our energetic Staffie and we were really confident leaving her with him. They supported our routines as well as including her in their family life. He sent regular updates and the meet and greet beforehand was really beneficial and made us feel really comfortable that she would be well cared for. A very experienced family who looked after our Issy really well.10/10 would recommend.”

“Julie had our pup Hugo for a long weekend, and he came back so happy and relaxed. She kept us updated with wonderful photos and notes about what he had been up to that made us feel so comfortable and put our minds at ease. Hugo enjoyed long walks and exciting excursions and it was evident that he was genuinely comfortable with Julie and her family. We're thrilled with the care and attention Julie provided and can't wait to use her services again in the future. Hugo had a pawsitively wonderful time thanks to Julie!”

“I can't thank Ly enough for taking such wonderful care of my dog during a one-night stay. Jacko was unfortunately feeling poorly with a bad stomach at the time, but she went above and beyond to make sure he was comfortable and well looked after. She kept me updated throughout the night with regular messages and lots of photos, which really reassured me and put my mind at ease. It was clear how much she genuinely cared, and it felt more like leaving my dog with family than with a sitter. Her son also helped care for my dog when she wasn’t there, and it was lovely to see that same level of care and kindness from him too. The whole experience had a very homely and warm feel, and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them both to anyone looking for a trustworthy, caring, and attentive sitter. Thank you again for everything!”

“We have left Barney with Laura 3-4 times. He is always excited to go to her and seems to have great time. As long as Laura is happy to have him, we will be very happy to keep using her.”

“Alix is an excellent dog carer. We left our little one at hers for 5 days. She updated us regularly everyday and looked after him very well. Strongly recommend.”

“I picked Rummy up from his most recent stay with Kane. As per usual, Rummy had the best time. I don't think he wanted to leave just yet! Kane and Stephen treat Rummy as their own and I recieve daily updates when i'm away. The relief knowing my boy is safe and sound is priceless when i'm on holiday. For me, Kane is the only option outside of family that I would consider when I need someone to have Rummy.”

“Harvey was very welcoming and his dog Roger was very friendly and playful with our dog, we are so happy and we will definitely use Harvey again. 10 out of 10 Thank you very much 😊”

“Janet had a lovely home to take care of Lobo in. She was relaxed and friendly and Lobo who can be nervous when we leave her, was happy to be there. Janet took her plenty walks and took good care of her. Would definitely use Janet again.”

“Papaya loved her time with Sarah. I was updated regularly with photos and messages. Sarah and her family are absolutely great and I am so happy I found d an absolutely great sitter for my dog.”

About: I first became a "dog Mum" 15 years ago to our Westie, Elland, who sadly we lost recently. I sadly was that annoying "Dog Mum" who had pictures of her on my desk and booked holiday for her birthday each year. I took voluntary redundancy nearly 6 years ago so have been fortunate to spend quality time at home with her and take her out and about on our own or with her other doggy friends. Unfortunately she lost her hearing about 3 years ago so learnt quickly how to communicate with her with some basic sign language. She also developed dry eye disease so I had to administer drops 5 times each day. Two of these were determined by time so I had to ensure I was available to give her these on time. The last 5 months of her life, her arthritis worsened so I bought a buggy to help her whilst out for daily walks/sniffs. I have also looked after family dogs whilst they have been on holiday and have accomodated raw feeding for one of family dogs. I live with my husband in a bungalow. He still works but is here in the evenings and at weekends. I work during examination periods at a local college but can accomodate pet sitting around this as dates are known well in advance. My contract with the college is ona casual basis so dog sitting will be my priority. We have used a local dog sitter who stayed in our home when we went on holiday. I therefore understand the importance of providing important information to the pet sitter when leaving the pet. When I first stopped working I volunteered for a local hospice helping support a family who used their services, by walking their dog on a weekly basis to give them some respite and also encourage the dog to socilise. I did this for 12 months. I also volunteered at Wood Green Animal Charity during Covid restrictions. Although I was there to help in the fundraising office, we often had dogs who weren't settling in kennels, come and sit with us in the office for the day. Some were quite withdrawn so I learnt how to slowly gain their trust. I am retired so home all day. My husband works full time but is home in the evenings and at weekends. I do some casual exam invigilating but I know dates for this in advance so will not take on any work if pet sitting is booked. I am happy to be led by the owners on when and what activity their dog (s) are used to so am pretty flexible. I have acess to my own car so can take the dog to any appointments if required. I have a fully fenced in garden (6ft) I live in a village with lots of access to quiet walks in the countryside if required, as well as walks within the village itself. I am happy to book out local secure dog fields if agreed with the owner but this will involve driving to nearby fields. As previously mentioned we live in a bungalow so no stairs. We are based in a quiet cul-de-sac so if your dog is reactive to traffic, should not be a problm here. I have space for a medium size crate if required.
