“Kobe had such a wonderful stay with Mat and his family. Prior to boarding we arranged a pre-stay meeting which was great and really helpful, from that initial meeting I knew Kobe would be very well looked after. Throughout his stay Mat kept us updated with Kobe's progress and sent lots of pictures which was so lovely. Would definitely recommend and will definitely be using Mat again for boarding, so long as the crazy pup is welcome ??. Thank you all so much for looking after our boy.”

We got the feeling that nothing was too much trouble for her, and we're very grateful that she could take in our dog at such short notice. We would definitely recommend Andrea and her beautiful dog.”

“Ernie had a lovely time with Gabriella. She kept me up to date while I was away and sent me pics and videos. She took him out on lovely walks and was very caring of him. Thanks so much! Ernie can be nervous around other dogs, she was very considerate of this too which put my mind at ease. Would 100% recommend. Thank you!”

“Shane has been amazing with our Shar Pei, Luna. He made both her and us welcome from the start with our initial home visit and then her subsequent stay with him. It was her first time staying away from us and her home and all the time we were away Shane messaged and sent photos and videos of Luna regularly and we have to say she certainly looked very happy, comfortable and like she wasn’t missing us too much!!🤣 Shane was happy for us to message him too to see how she was as he knew we were worried as it was her first time away from home! She can be quite picky with her food but Shane said she was eating well which was so reassuring too. When we went to collect her we knew how much she loved Shane because she kept going to him for cuddles too before we left 😊 She has settled in well back at home and that tells us that she obviously felt at home with him and that not much had changed for her - she more or less has the run of our house and she did with Shane too. We cannot recommend him highly enough. He’s a lovely caring guy who obviously loves the dogs he cares for and treats them as his own 😊 Shane’s little boy was brilliant with Luna too. We’ll definitely be booking Luna to stay again though we think we’re going to have to book well in advance!🤣 Thanks again guys you’ve been fab. Luna sends a big sloppy kiss!!🤣 Bev & Jon 😊😊”

“This was an emergency booking. Charlotte suggested bringing Molly the day before for a sniff around and to meet us. Molly is an anxious dog and Charlotte gave her the time and space to explore. From the moment I took Molly into Charlotte’s home I felt reassured. She created a little area for Molly with her cushion, blanket and toys. There was also water available. Molly was happy to stay with her which was a relief. I got lots of updates and she clearly had a lovely time. Charlotte was so sensitive to Molly’s needs and didn’t put any pressure on her to do things she didn’t want to do. Over the two days Molly really grew in confidence. Molly has also had pancreatitis and Charlotte both understood and was prepared to give her painkillers if needed. I cannot thank Charlotte enough for the great care she showed Molly and would highly recommend her.”

About: Hello, my name is Jamie and I am 24 years old. Little but about me is that I have not long lived in Norfolk, moving from Grantham, Lincolnshire. I live with my partner Shannon who has also not long lived in Norfolk and we both share a love for animals. Having both grown up around pets and now not able to have one due to work life we would like to start helping others with theirs. I work 6am-6pm Monday to Friday. Around that I'm free to walk majority of the time. Happy to care for overnight on weekends if required. My partner works odd shifts and can be available midweek when necessary. I always make sure attention is paid to the pet. I will ensure toilet breaks are regular and they go out for walks at least twice a day.

“I was so pleased to have Ann visit and feed my cat whilst I was away for a couple of days. Communication was easy and I felt confident that my cat was left in good hands, which indeed she was. Thank you!”

About: Hi, I’m Rhi! I’m a bubbly 32 year old who absolutely adores animals. My own family consists of one goofy Golden Retriever, two cats who firmly believe they run the house, and a leopard gecko, so I’m no stranger to a variety of personalities! I’ve spent my whole life around animals and honestly wouldn’t want it any other way. While I don’t have any formal animal care qualifications, I have years of hands-on experience caring for my own furry family members, as well as looking after friends’ and family’s pets whenever they’ve needed a helping hand. I’m passionate about giving them all the love, patience, respect and attention they need. I’ve cared for dogs, cats, and other small pets, whether that’s feeding, walking, playtime, administering routines, or simply keeping them company with a calm and reassuring presence. One of my favourite things about pet sitting is getting to know each animal’s individual character. I understand that some pets are full of energy and love to play, while others are shy and need a little more time and space to feel comfortable. I have a calm and patient nature, so I’m always happy to let your pets set the pace and build trust in their own time. Equally, I’m more than happy to be bubbly, playful, and energetic for those who love attention, games, and adventures! As the owner of two mischievous cats, I know how important consistency is when it comes to routines. I’ll always do my best to follow your pet’s usual schedule, rules, and training cues so they have a familiar and stress-free experience while you’re away. My priority is always making sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, happy, and well cared for. As a pet owner myself, I know how worrying it can be leaving our furry family when we are away, so understand how important it is to trust someone with your beautiful pets. I’ll always care for your pets with the same kindness, attention, and affection that I give my own.

“I was a bit anxious when i first left Bob (springer spaniel) with Gemma for day care as he has never been left before. However I have left him twice now and wouldn't hesitate in using her services again. I imagine having two spaniels to look after is quite exhausting (& fun!) but everything went to plan and Bob & Monty got along well. Gemma is very professional, caring and gives regular updates and photos which proved Bob had a great time and put me at ease! Thank you 😊”

About: I’ve had two cats for four years now and they are house cats , I love spending time with them. I have previously owned a staffy (dog) named daisy who I regularly took out for walks and fed. I myself go on walks daily so I would love to help someone out if their pets need walking :) I think it’s very important for pets to receive some good playtime and loving which I would love to provide for them when the owner is unable to do so. I will walk pets in evenings/weekends depending on the size and activity level of the pet. I am happy to look after cats at my home too and invest in toys for them. I have now been dog sitting on Rover for 5 years and have enjoyed dog sitting so much. I started out as a uni student but now I am now a Secondary school Geography teacher, so will be available any school holidays as well as evenings and weekends. I have a lot of compassion and love for cats and dogs. I love spending time with them and playing with them, feeding them etc. It’s a very fulfilling job for me. I have a fenced garden, with a spacious living room for comfort. I always try and arrange a meet and greet first so that the pets are familiar with me before the service
“Pinar took such good care of our miniature dachshund bramble. She gave us lots of updates throughout, photos and videos. We felt like Pintar and her family looked after Bramble as if she was their own dog. Would definitely recommend her to anyone”

“Booked last minute with Ania and was so easy. Dropping Charlie off and she was slightly nervous but Ania was great with her. Sending me photos and updates to let me know how she was and how settled. On picking Charlie up, she had settled in with the family making herself at home. Will absolutely be booking again. Charlie came home relaxed and settled from her busy day.”

“Darcie had the most lovely day and has come back from Charlotte’s ready for a good nap! Also a lovely touch was her “report card” for the day.. written by Darcie telling us about her adventures!”

“Saoirse was absolutely wonderful, from initial contact, to meeting with Woody on the day of looking after him, all the way through to collection. I felt very comfortable leaving him as he was made to feel so welcome at Saoirses' home. When picking him up, he seemed very happy and well exercised (fell asleep in the car on the way home). Fab communication and updates on his stay. We will absolutely be using Saoirse again.”

“Lisa was lovely and extremely accommodating, especially with a breed that can be quite tricky. Our dog seemed to feel at home very quickly. She kindly offered a meet and greet beforehand—even on short notice—which really helped reassure me that both our dog and Lisa would be comfortable with each other.”

About: Fergus and I love walking at a different place everyday in Norfolk. We go to Thetford Forest for sniffing walks, the coast when it’s very hot, rivers when we want to paddle. We live near the UEA so that’s our local walk straight out the door and into the woods. Fergus is my second Fox Red Labrador Murphy was my first and they both have had a placid nature with other dogs and enjoy tug of war or chasing round the house. We have a great enclosed garden for all pets so very safe and we are at the end of a Cul-de-Sac which means it’s a quiet area. My family have had dogs all my life from Basset hounds to Labradors with a Shih Tzu thrown in (not literally) so at 61 I am experienced. Believe me when I say your dog will be part of our family when they walk or stay with us. Most walks will be 1-2 hours 3-4 miles with biscuits thrown in. I have retired so my day is mostly taken up by walking 3,4 or 5 miles in the morning and a shorter walk in the late afternoon. I have a lovely grass garden with 3 areas for the dogs to explore. It’s all fenced and enclosed so safe and secure. I live at the bottom of a quiet cul-de-sac so few vehicles about. Also my home is a bungalow which dogs have the full roam of and can follow Fergus anywhere.
“Kazoo had a good time with Sylvia. She was punctual, responded to messages quickly, and sent us updates throughout her stay. We also forgot her water bottle but Sylvia brought it round the next day.”

I am currently working from home, which allows me to build pet care naturally into my daily routine. Caring for pets is part of my everyday life. I provide feeding, fresh water, exercise, enrichment, grooming where needed, and regular health monitoring each day. I’ll always care for your pets with the same kindness, attention, and affection that I give my own. I’m very fortunate that my job allows me to be quite flexible with my hours, so I can be available and travel easily most of the time, as I work remotely. I don’t have many commitments other than my own pets who can be looked after by my partner. This leaves me free to give your furry family member plenty of attention and affection throughout the day. I know every pet is different, it’s what I love about them! So I try to care for them in a way that suits them best. If they’re full of energy, I’m happy to keep them entertained with walks, playtime, and enrichment games. If they’re a little nervous or need some space, I’m equally happy to take things slowly and let them come to me in their own time. I’m also happy to stick to any routines you’ve worked hard to put in place (I know how hard this can be) whether that’s crate training, meal times, training cues, or little things that help them feel settled and secure in their environment. One thing you can definitely expect from me is updates! I know how much I miss my own pets when I’m away, so I’ll make sure you’re kept in the loop with messages, photos, and videos. If you’re anything like me, 90% of my camera roll is of my furry family.

About: With over five years of experience in looking after all kinds of animals as well as growing up in a house full of animals I am now available to look after furry friends whilst back home from university. Whilst my experience is mainly in the realms of dogs, cats, horses, hamsters and guinea pigs I have also looked after rabbits, birds and even a tortoise! I have had plenty of work experience through my degree in veterinary practices allowing me to handle medications as needed and keep an eye on any more senior animals as well, with which I aim to give owners some peace of mind as I completely understand how daunting it can feel when a pet has health issues and to trust someone else to monitor these. I currently work an online job for my university student union, which is part time. This means I have plenty of time to check in on furry friends and keep ontop of their daily schedules! Other than that I would ideally be going to the gym however if one of your furry friends needs 24/7 care it goes without saying that it would always be the priority! I will be able to take your dog out and about to local dog parks or for quieter walks through the lovely Norfolk countryside! With a car and full clean driving licence I would be more than happy to take your pets to safe local areas or walk them from your home. Which ever you would prefer and they would be more comfortable with!

I can look after any pets from when they are young to elderly as have lots of experience with my own. I seem to have an affinity with dogs, not only do I adore them but they also really like me. I’m an influencer so have lots of time and love to give to your pet as if it was my own. Available a lot. Your pet will always be safe with me as I have lots of experience. I’d make sure your pet is safe if out on a walk with me, be aware of surroundings and other pets. I’d keep your home locked and your pets safe inside when not out and about. Constantly making sure they have been walked, have enough water, fed and are happy.

I am sensible and respectful and would always put the needs of the dog first, and I would be happy to walk more than one dog at once too. I work as an Occupational Therapist for the NHS and have set working hours Tuesday - Friday but would be available pretty much any time Saturday-Monday and could do early morning/evening walks the rest of the week. I cannot accommodate pets in my own home however would be very respectful in the owners own home. Within my role at work I work in the community so spend my days going in and out of patient houses so can fully appreciate the need for sensitivity and respecting the privacy of those living there
About: Hi! I'm a lifelong animal lover with hands-on experience caring for a wide range of pets. I studied Animal Care at college, completing both Level 2 and Level 3 qualifications, which gave me a solid understanding of animal welfare, behaviour, health, and handling. I also spent four years working at Redwings Horse Sanctuary, where I cared for horses and donkeys, where I learned the importance of providing consistent, compassionate care tailored to each animal's individual needs. This experience strengthened my confidence in handling animals, recognising signs of illness or stress, and maintaining high welfare standards. Animals have been a huge part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up and into adulthood, I've cared for dogs, cats, rats, chickens, rabbits, and guinea pigs, so I'm comfortable looking after pets with all kinds of personalities, needs, and routines. While I don't currently have pets of my own, I regularly spend time with my best friend's adorable sausage dogs, Dolly and Flossy, and her ragdoll cat, Nancy. I help care for them whenever needed, whether that's feeding, walks, playtime, cuddles, or simply keeping them company while my bestie is away. One of the reasons I've joined Rover is because there's definitely a pet-shaped hole in my life! I genuinely love being around animals and understand how important it is to find someone you can trust with your furry family members. I'll treat your pets with the same care, patience, and affection that I would my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and loved while you're away. I work full-time Monday to Friday from 9:00am to 4:30pm, which means I can provide care before and after work during the week. I'm available for morning visits before work for feeding, toilet breaks, walks, and companionship, and then have plenty of time in the evenings for longer walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles, and any other care your pet needs. My weekends are generally much more flexible, allowing me to dedicate even more time to pet care and ensuring your pets receive plenty of attention and company. I'm organised, reliable, and committed to sticking to your pet's usual routine as closely as possible, helping them feel comfortable, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I understand that trusting someone with both your beloved pet and your home is a big decision, and I take that responsibility very seriously. My priority is always to make sure your pet feels safe, comfortable, and cared for while you're away by following their usual routine as closely as possible, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, medication (if required), and plenty of affection. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I will always treat your property with the same respect and care that I would my own. I'm reliable, tidy, and considerate, and I'll make sure your home is kept secure and left exactly as I found it. I believe good communication is important, so I'm happy to provide regular updates, photos, and messages for extra peace of mind while you're away. With my Animal Care qualifications, four years of experience at Redwings Horse Sanctuary, and a lifetime spent caring for animals, you can be confident that your pet will be in caring, capable hands. My goal is for both you and your pet to feel relaxed, happy, and reassured throughout the entire experience.

“Such a kind and thoughtful woman. Our dog is allergic to Christmas trees, and Andrea was so accommodating, that she moved her tree away from any areas our dog had access too.

“Thank you Jan for taking such excellent care of our little lady. We feel so blessed to have found someone who is professional yet so caring and somehow instantly created a home from home for Lucrezia. Perfect! We look forward to her upcoming next stay.”

“We had a wonderful experience with Elliott and Fran. They were incredibly friendly, reliable, and took such great care of our dog, Maisie. It was clear that Maisie was happy, comfortable, and well looked after while we were away. We really appreciated the updates and the genuine care they showed. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them and will definitely be booking again!”
